My husband and I stopped in Jacksonville on the way back from South Carolina with our newborn and this hotel was amazing from top to bottom! The staff are so friendly and accommodating from the front desk to housekeeping. The hotel is clean, modern and located right off 95. We are loyal Marriott Bonvoy members because of properties like this one! We will definitely be back for our next road trip!

Excellent!! Comfy bed, suite with all of the amenities of an apartment. Front desk staff was excellent. Breakfast was decent, they have 15 different toppings for oatmeal, which was awesome! The rest was a little shaky, close to stores, gas and restaurants . All within 5 minute walk. Will stay there again! Highly recommend.

The true rating should be 0.01 of a star. I stayed here recently and they charged me a different rate than what I booked at. I called and spoke with the hotel manager, Leonda Shingles and she told me, "Thats your problem!" and then hung up on me. I've emailed the GM of the property and have not heard anything back. I also contacted Marriott corporate regarding this property. I will NEVER go to this property again and I'd encourage my friends, colleagues and family never to go to this property either. The folks running this hotel are dishonest and there is less than zero customer service at this location.

I never got the chance to stay. I booked this hotel for the Gator Bowl. I’m a teacher and before I book I always call to make sure they will let me use the state government discount. I’ve been using it for years and they told me yes. Today I get an email for the manager that tells me that I have to bring these documents when I come. I called. The lady that answered the phone was very nice but she put my in touch with the manager, who was not nice at all. I was told I couldn’t use that discount all the sudden. She said that was always the rules with Marriott but it has not. I’ve been staying in Marriott hotels for 20 years. I cancelled the room and then they posted the same room for 4 times as much. These people didn’t want the money I had when they knew they could get more. It went from listing at $99 a night to $391 a night. I think this is a scam and you should watch out for them. I can’t afford to go now thanks to this. All the other hotels around there have gone up also. I will never stay at this hotel.

My stay was great until the last day (today) due to the front desk service staff that is scheduled after morning shift. At 245pm I called the front desk to ask for toilet paper from housekeeping. Before I start this complaint, let me say I was very happy with my stay and was going to leave a 5 star review. I'm super picky and appreciate a clean hotel. During my call I was told I'd have to come down to get the toilet paper because there isn't any housekeeping on site.. at 3pm? When people are able to check-in and may need extra stuff, like the signage says in the bathroom. I went downstairs a little frustrated because the point of a hotel stay is to experience something you may not get at home or to feel at home. Plus, I didn't pay for a stay to have to go downstairs when I need something. Every single person from check in had been exceptional, until the staff member that's scheduled to take over after the morning shift today, Monday (10/24/22) has been the rudest and most disrespectful member of a hotel I've ever experienced. I've never even had a rude housekeeper. When I made a comment about having to come down and retrieve my own toilet paper, she got a quick attitude and immediately began defending her actions. She even tried to blame the staff member that was leaving for the day, as if her departure is the reason she couldn't bring me toilet paper. Her attitude wasnt subtle either, it was full force. This should never happen to another guest and I really feel as though the current person at the from desk should be retrained on hospitality. I'm a property manager and would never let my staff treat a guest the way she treated me. She acted very much entitled to her position and entitled to the fact that she didn't have anyone bring up toilet paper. Since when is this ok? If another guest had walked in, it would have been a bad image. Because of this one experience, I will never stay here again. I'd rather stay next door at either of the hotels my family members are at, at least they got toilet paper sent to their room and weren't made to feel like a burden. Shame on Marriott.

This hotel offers the typical Marriott chain hotel experience. It is conveniently located to plenty of food and shopping, and it is easy to get into and around the city from here. The room itself was nice and clean. Front desk staff were fantastic. Unfortunately the TV in the living room was broken, staff could not get it working and I was told they could not replace it during my stay. Also, the water pressure was bad. That seems to be a Marriott trait.

Great Staff, Uncomfortable Beds, Bugs In Muffins First, let me say that the people here were really nice. The hotel itself is in good condition and the rooms are large and well set up. But the bed was absolutely terrible. We booked a 1 bedroom with a king and it was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on. After the first night, I called and told the front desk to ask for a mattress topper or to see what could be done and was told they didn't have any but could give me a couple of extra blankets, which I had to go retrieve myself and which didn't help but the lady was nice and apologetic about the bed. They said they were also out of rooms other than one downgraded studio. During breakfast, my daughter was about to open a muffin and noticed that inside the packaging there were bugs crawling around. I saw several people come grab those muffins before my daughter and go up to their rooms, so hopefully, they noticed. The staff was quick to remove them once I pointed this out and everything else on the line was clean. In summary I'd say the staff were great as far as being friendly. The bed was so bad though. My neck and back were torn up after staying here for 4 nights on vacation. I went back home from vacation feeling beat up because of it. If something could have been done on the bed situation, the rating would be much higher, but when the bed prevents any rest and relaxation on vacation, it's something I can't just gloss over. Now I have to try to recover from my vacation while going back to the grind.

Beautifully well maintained new hotel. Staff was very polite and helpful location is great that's good restaurants and things nearby. Close enough to do things in Jack's but also not far from St Augustine I'll definitely stay here again

I spent a "staycation" here and the staff were excellent. I had a small mixup happen and the cleaning staff for some reason thought I was checked out. The cleaning staff threw away all the food in the fridge and bagged my clothes and other items. This would have easily dropped my rating to 1 star had the hotel not tried to reconcile. They were going to refund the food, but I requested an additional day for free and they were able to oblige the request. Even though the cleaning staff did not speak, or acted like they didn't speak any english the front desk staff are very professional and considerate. I would stay again and recommend BUT only if able to receive a discount somehow. Being a military vet and receiving a reduced rate helped to make the choice to stay here easier. I would not pay the exorbitant non-discounted rate for this hotel though. It's not an over the top amount, there's just better places to stay at equivalent full retail price.

Booked a room and provided a confirmation and guarantee of a room to arrive to no rooms available. We have been on the road for 11 hours and just wanted a stop to rest for a couple of hours to arrive to horrible customer service and a charge to our card with no rooms even available. Front desk stated they would have a room clean in 45 minutes and we have now been waiting 2 hours with still no room.

Such friendly staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Breakfast was great too. Very very clean rooms. And a huge desk to get work done at. Beautifully clean pool, gas grills were clean and the outside courtyard was cozy and clean as well.

This is the BEST treatment we've ever received from a Marriott! A very friendly and welcoming greeting every time we walk past the desk -- I think the girl's name was Tori who was there during our stay. We also received a little welcome goody bag. The rooms are beautiful and clean with nice amenities. The free breakfast had a lot of extra nice little treats -- there were probably 20 different toppings for oatmeal/waffles/etc including a blueberry compote! The eggs and sausage were better than your average continental breakfast too.

Woman at the front desk was both unhelpful and rude when I inquired about a room ready fit immediate occupancy. You told me at 11:00 a.m. it's not even worth calling one of your housekeeping staff members to ask if any rooms have been cleaned because I know for sure they be beating on my door at 9:00 a.m. trying to break into my room and sometimes when I'm trying to sleep in so I find it hard to believe that it's kind of worth even asking but she clearly just didn't want to be bothered. 👎. Try the courtyard only half mile away they seem to have their stuff much more together

I really love this Residence Inn! I’ve stayed here 4-5 times now. First and foremost the staff is wonderful! They treat you like family immediately & no matter what time a day, there is always a cheerful greeting. I love the hotel room layout for business travel. The big desk provides plenty of comfortable workspace. The kitchen is a huge bonus. I do wish there was an oven or toaster oven to cook pizza, but still very happy with the ability to cook on a stove. The king size bed is very comfortable and I sleep so good here. The bathroom is plenty big with the open concept shower. Tons of storage too. The area is full of shopping, grocery & tons of restaurants, you can walk to many places also. I just love it here, an upgraded home away from home! My 1st choice for business travel!

I booked a night at this Residence Inn because I was returning from a long east coast trip. When I first walked in, I was amazed by how clean it was. The lobby smelled clean and everything looked organized. Tori, the front desk staff was professional, patient, and courteous. She took time with my questions and made sure that my requests were met. She gave me a convenient first floor room by the door. She also informed me about the hotel's services including what time their breakfast was. I went to the room and was impressed with its cleanliness as well as its size. It was perfect! I was able to park close to the side entrance which helped with bringing luggage in. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience, and Tori helped to make all of the difference. Thank you!

Wow! Wow! This hotel is clean with a calm and relaxing ambience. We ended a 4.5 hour trip here and it was such a welcome experience. The rooms are like a small 1 bedroom apartment with a spacious bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable and clean. The biggest plus and definitely an asset to Marriott hotel is Tori, who greeted us in the most pleasant and professional manner. She was energetic and a positive energy to have at the front desk. I also loved the personalized chocolate bar and goody bag- plus +++++A+++++ Breakfast was adequate and filling. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Probably the best hotel we’ve stayed at for nearly the cheapest price. The hotel is either new or updated, very clean, large rooms with a living space and kitchen. Staff was excellent. Great place to stay. We liked it so much that we adjusted our return trip so that we could stay on our way back through. Definitely recommend staying

Wow, TORI is truly incredible! The amount of friendliness and warmth she provides us each time we stay at this hotel is outstanding. We stayed twice to visit family and each time she was welcoming, had a huge smile on her face and radiated joy. She helped us find local eateries on the desktop, gave us complimentary chocolate bars, and reminded us of all the wonderful hotel amenities. The rooms are always so clean and tidy. It's a great hotel, very comfortable and conveniently located near the interstate and great restaurants. We will stay here to visit TORI every time and highly recommend that everyone else does. She deserves to be recognized for her outstanding customer service!

VERY sincerely impressed by the cleanliness, quality, and service for the price. Shaquonda (Q) at the front desk was kind and super helpful. The rooms were very sizeable, clean, and well furnished in every way. Continental breakfast was better than expected and quite tasty. Overall value in the area cannot be beat... being a regular traveler I was very impressed by the size and quality for the price. And again, every single staff member on each shift was both helpful and fun. This will be my go to in the area.

I travel a lot for work and this hotel has been fabulous. Super friendly staff and free snacks/surprise gifts in the room for being Titanium. The room is clean and spacious. Definitely my go to in Jacksonville moving forward. It's also right by I95 and has lots of restaurants within a half mile.

Rooms need new furniture and appliances. Housekeeping could do a much better job of keeping things clean and neat.

It’s hard to find a great hotel to stay while traveling… but this one is fantastic! I brought my family here for a night on our way down to Port Canaveral . The rooms clean , beds comfortable, and the staff was so friendly. This is now going to my go-to hotel staying in Jacksonville.

When I tell you, I’ve stayed at many Marriott resorts AND SPAS and this was HANDS DOWN the best experience I’ve ever come across. The STAFF WAS THE BEST ever! Genuinely nice people, hilarious, you can tel they care about their guests happiness and over stay. Very accommodating and I felt individualized service with a smile. The rooms were spacious, very clean, “homey” and cozy! I used this hotel for a wedding block and I am SO glad I did. Every one of my guests got their welcome back WITHOUT me having to call or remind them. Beyond words thrilled with my experience!

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for three nights over New Years weekend, and were very impressed. The hotel is recently built, and the interior design package is holding up well. We appreciated the included breakfast and its varied hot options, especially the cage free scrambled eggs. We wished the pool was heated, it was too cold to comfortably use. But the fitness room was nice, and the weight rack was most appreciated. We would gladly stay again, thanks y'all!

Great location with a modern appointed room. Beds are a little hard but it was the low water pressure shower that drew my rating to 4 stars.

Amazing hotel and wonderful stay. Front desk was so informative and very nice. Whomever does the hiring deserves an award because everyone from morning shift to night shift was purely amazing and it’s hard to find employees like that anymore. All the ladies were wonderful. I wish I knew all their names however Tiarra was such a nice person. The food is pretty decent and coffee is 24/7. Pool is nice and area is pretty nice as well. If your looking for a an amazing stay and a more amazing staff I would def suggest here.

Charlie really set the tone for my entire stay. She was super nice and welcoming upon checking in. I called down because my tub didn't appear to be 100 clean and she came up and cleaned it. Friendly staff is a plus and I loved the set up of the room!
