Really disappointed in this hotel. If you plan to stay bring some air freshener. The rooms smell awful. Our family had to check to be sure we hadn’t gotten into the service elevator because the guest elevator is so beat up. All of the ice machines are broken and the staff couldn’t care less. No refrigerator in room. Homeless people camped out at the back of the hotel. Definitely not a place our family will be visiting ever again and will not be staying at another La Quinta or Wyndham if this is how they are allowed to be ran.

The location of the hotel is great but is by far the worst hotel in the area. There is obviously water or fire damage. The carpet in the hallways smells like garbage, mold or sewage. Hard to tell. And there is no electricity in the hallways either. Looks more like a haunted house than a hotel. I changed to another hotel and was told I would receive a refund for my stay due to these unsanitary conditions since I could not stay there yet I was still charged. It is amazing that they are still booking rooms in this place. It is not a matter of luxury it is a matter of health. Water damage causes mold and breathing that causes health and respiratory issues. Worst hotel I have ever encountered.

BEWARE!!! Do NOT stay here! When we first walked up to the hotel there was trash everywhere. Then we were a little early and went to ask if we could use the pool while we wait for check in. We found out the pool was closed for “resurfacing”. We later went to go look at it and there was water in the pool and it looked clean. (Cleanest thing in this hotel). We literally booked this trip to spend time at a pool. We had no other plans. So I paid for two rooms just to hang out in a dirty hotel. The cleanliness - there was none. This hotel by far the grossest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. And I’ve stay at some low hotels. This hotel should be considered condemned. The floors have mold in it. Wallpaper was coming off the walls. Trash everywhere in the hallways. And strangely the room. We booked two rooms which we called to see if we could have them together. They said no problem, when we checked in she said no and my second room was not even ready at 3pm. It was about 5:30pm when we got the call for the second room. When we finally went into the second room there was still trash in it( cheese wrappers and watermelon to be exact). My first room kept locking when we go to leave and my dad had to rig it to close because they could not send someone up. to fix it. The shower had rust and mold all in it. The rooms smelled so bad we had to go get spray to freshen it up. We choose this hotel base on previous reviews from when we booked it. But it has since changed. The staff had attitude about everything as well. I wish I had taken photos. But I just wanted to get out of there.

We have been happy with LaQuintas in other places - but this hotel was a mess. The carpeting was dirty, the elevator was a disaster. The whole place was run down, dirty, dark, dingy and in general, poorly maintained. There was mold in our shower. It was obvious they had used strong deodorizing spay to cover the dank, musty smell of the room. The breakfast area was fairly clean but managing breakfast, restocking food and drink and keeping the counter areas clean was the responsibility of the desk clerk, who was trying to be in two places at once and did neither job well. We were very tempted to just leave and find another place to stay and forfeit payment of the one night we had booked. It was that bad.

the staff was wonderful and went above and beyond to help make our stay comfortable-especially with 4 dogs. Unfortunately we only stayed <4 hours because of the quality of the hotel and room. The carpets between rooms is infested with mold and other bugs. Orange mold was growing up the wall outside of our room and was fuzzy (meaning its been growing freely for a while). The pool was closed down by the health department for being too dangerous to swim in. The carpets in the room were so dirty that when we walked in dust blew up around our feet. The couch had visible stains as well as the bed. When we asked for clean sheets the maid told us they were out. Meaning what? Where are yall getting your clean sheets for people? Its been two weeks since we "stayed" and both of us have respiratory infections that WONT GO AWAY. I cannot tell you enough: AVOID THIS PLACE. Your health depends on it!

The location fit our needs. The front desk area is nice, breakfast was okay....the pool looked good. Front desk workers were pleasant. The room itself is straight trash.......it feels nasty......it looks nasty and I am sure if I checked hard I would have found NASTY stuff in there under the beds. The bathroom door looked like a trapped field rat was trying to gnaw its way out.....the handles were missing....tub was yucky! Carpet looked liked it belong on a murder mystery show with an online of a body. I was being supportive and didn't want to complain on my spouse decision to stay there but the whole time I was thinking what the heck? I was itching the entire time in the bed (afraid to look at the mattress).....I had to get completely dressed to create a boarder for my skin. It has been a week ago since our visit and no itching.......hoping we didn't bring bed bugs home or leave them at the next stay. Hopefully they dont have bed bugs. Don't go here......sleep in your car in their parking lot with the door unlocked......sure you will feel more secure than checking in! Dump dump and more dump! They should be really ashamed.......

I personally would not recommend. The place looks like a war scene. Just walking in, the automatic doors have busted glass and yellow caution tape around them. The one elevator may or may not work. The rooms are “relatively” clean compared to the passage ways and common areas. There is enough grime to be measured with a yard stick on the outside. Inside, is slightly better. On a positive note, the staff is extremely kind and helpful. The receptionist could not have been better. I am not one to complain or ask for a refund so I will live with my choices but i write this to help someone in the future!

You guys seriously need to address your bug problem. I stayed here with my girlfriend and family and was disappointed when after our first night we found a roach running across our nightstand. We killed it and as it we cleaned up discovered multiple cigarettes on the floor and behind the ac vent, when this is supposed to be a non smoking facility. We requested a room change and when we entered the new room IMMEDIATELY saw a lizard dash across the wall and said nope! Got ANOTHER room as a last resort and lo and behold, more bugs. Probably 6 or so in different areas, fridge, floor, bathroom, so on. And from research, they appear to be German roaches and having so many babies indicates this place is infested. The Rooms were humid and musty, and probably harboring many of those roaches. Even walking out, we saw another on the door. The only thing I can commend is the calmness of the staff who handled it, which also leads me to believe this was a common problem which I have now confirmed by finding MANY other roach reviews. Not including the other cleanliness problems. Walked across the street to Hampton and just the difference in smell made me grin when I walked in the room. I see many reviews answered by the owners that actions are being taken, but it does not appear so. Hotel understaffed, and under cared for. Hopefully they can get an exterminator in, for at least the cleanliness of the other guests, because I won’t be back.

For the price I was disappointed. Hotel was decent, needs a remodel. Staff was really good. There is no mini fridge in the room, and both ice machines were empty/ broken, so we had no way of keeping drinks cold. Beds were comfortable, pillows weren’t. The entire hotel was decently clean except for both elevators. Both were absolutely disgusting and seem dangerous. (Shaky and jerky) There was no hot breakfast but that’s as expected, breakfast was limited but ok. Overall my stay was decent. The good and bad level out thus 3 stars.

This is the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We checked out a day early and found different accommodations. The hotel was filthy from the first step through the door. My first room had a broken door that wouldn’t lock if you tried to leave the room. The elevator was disgusting and sounded like it was about to die. The carpets were gross in every area. The smell was a result of the filth. I will say the staff was nice but that’s the only good thing. Do not stay at this place if you don’t have to.

Horrible stay! Would not recommend... I stayed in the first floor near the exit back door... It opens and closes the whole night.... Supposedly only guests are able to enter with card but anyone could use that entrance you can just push the door... Definitely did not feel safe, saw bunch of weird people that weren't staying at the hotel come in and out during breakfast time and at night.... Could hear my neighbors as if they were in my room... One couple was fighting over marijuana and it smelled like it.... The rooms smell like people just smoke in them ..... And it supposed to be a non smoking hotel... Very dirty and smelly.... Staff at the front desk looked like they were wearing their lounge clothes from home or pyjamas I didn't think it was professional.... They were very friendly and helped very well I will be honest that is the only compliment I can give to the hotel ..... It just sucked in so many ways I barely slept ..... I had a tournament and was assigned to stay there and was with a team of athletes ... Otherwise I would have changed it ....

we've stayed in La Quinta Inns before and liked them a lot. we're not very picky. This was a disappointment though. The whole place has a run down vibe. It smells and the carpet is dirty. Literally no ice in the entire hotel, just broken ice machines. The not tub was broken and the sign saying so did not look new. Riding in the elevator feet quite risky. Nothing feels maintained. The hotel was very busy and loud. The breakfast is decent though an icy drink would have been an improvement. The bed was comfy If you like a firm mattress, which I do.

I don’t know if the good reviews they have are fake or if the room I stayed in was the only disgusting room they have but this hotel is a health hazard. Feet and anything that touches carpet will turn black. Front desk staff are horrid, absolutely horrid. They come beat on your door at 11am like a cop. Roaches everywhere. Mold in the shower. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life. You definitely get what you pay for.

Very, very disappointed with this hotel. The hotel looks nothing like the photos. The whole place smells like Old Cigarette smoke, the carpet in the room and in the halls were absolutely disgusting. The hotel was just not clean, it had stains on the walls and furniture, chipped paint everywhere, missing curtains etc. The couch in my “king suite” had too many stains to count. It’s the middle of the summer and the Pool was not open which is kind of unfathomable..!! I asked for towels from a lady in the hallway who was cleaning the rooms with a cart, since I was staying multiple nights and she stayed I would have to go downstairs and ask for things if I wanted anything done with my room or extra fresh towels. Trash was overflowing by the back and aide entrance both days I was here. Inside the hotel, it was extremely hot and humid in the hallways and there was no AC on. All-in-all, it was just not a good experience at all during my stay here in the “king suite” room for 2nights. I will 100% never come back to this hotel.. To be fair though, in general, I have stayed at a dozen or more Laquinta Inn’s and they normally are good.

This hotel is not maintained appropriately. Dirty and ripped rugs, broken doors and an elevator that looks like someone beat it with a sledgehammer. Everything here some paint! I’ve seen it deteriorate over a few trips but it has reached an unacceptable level. Plus now they charge $25 for a pet. Use the funds to clean the place up. We will be finding new accommodations in Jacksonville.

Satay away from this hotel!! We needed a hotel to stay overnight and i rented here on accident i thought it was the holiday inn next door. Omg the lobby a disaster dirty i should’ve walked right out, we made it to the elevator being held but DUCT TAPE!! made it to the room and it was disgusting. Period blood on the toilet, dirty carpet, no towels, moldy damp smell. We ran out of there. We will demand our $90 back with corporate if we have to but this is why people don’t want to stay at hotels anymore. You can’t find a place to rest your head that doesn’t look straight out of a horror movie. How this hotel has two stars i have no clue. But this is unacceptable and should be looked at my the proper people. Disgusting!!

Booked for the first time at this specific location. When I first walked in I was greater by a pleasant woman at the front desk. I peered down the hallway and noticed a few stains. But didn’t think much of it because it is a high traffic area. Well after we checked in and began walking down that same hall to the elevator…. Let’s just say panic set in! All along the edges of the carpet was mold/wet/ visibly bleached carpet. In many places there was also a powder substance that was intentionally placed there maybe for bugs or even maybe to absorb some of this moisture. I’m not entirely sure. We finally arrive at our door after walking down a hallway on the second floor where every door looked like someone possessed had tried to enter each room. And we go in to find two full size beds that looked like tacos! The beds were so sunk in it was visible. The beds were terribly made, and it smelled so bad of bleach.! I understand having the clean a room and sometimes bleach is all that helps. But in this situation after being in the re maybe a total of 3-5 minutes my chest was burning! I went down to the front desk and checked out! The nice young woman simply said ok, there will be no penalty or fee.. 🤔 The fact that she said that so calmly and didn’t even ask for a reason ( I gave one any way) and reversed my funds. Let’s me know this happens on a regular bases. We went right across the street to Hampton Inn. And let them know our situation. And they gladly gave us a great rate and instantly our night was turned around! Lastly, shame on the owner of this La Quinta! No one can safely stay here. And I know you know that.

This hotel was horrible. From the time I arrived until checkout. It was flooded which caused a horrible smell. The pool wasn’t working. Breakfast was not breakfast to me. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived. My kids room was infested with dead lizards and there was a hole in the window which I’m guessing is how they got into the room. The shower was broken and my husband had to fix it for me to even be able to take a shower. The key cards weren’t working we had to get a new key card each time we entered or exited the rooms. People also had dogs & cats staying in their rooms that barked all throughout the night. It was just a horrible experience and I would never stay there again!

This hotel is disgustingly dirty. It's like it hasn't seen a new coat of paint or wallpaper or carpets since the Nixon administration. One of the elevators was held together with duct tape. Some sorts of stains decorated the elevators like a Picasso painting and nowhere near as interesting. And finally the bathroom sink in my room was backed up so bad that the basin was still half filled with my toothbrushing waste from about 10 hours before. When I called the front desk that night the attendant stated they don't have anyone available to fix it. She didn't offer me another room and I forgot to ask. I'm sure there are better choices in the area than this one. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel from outside was looking good but as soon as you walk in a hallway you will regret you came here. It smells moldy and they had big garbage cans in few places due to water dripping from the ceiling, Hallway carpet has huge black stains and worn off. You enter room and the carpet is same condition. I didn't want to take my shoes off. Beds were too old that you can feel those springs. Surprisingly sheets were clean. Bathroom doors are like closet doors. Water flow is too low and not enough hot water. I will never go there again, I would rather pay $10-$20 more and go to Hampton inn across than stay here.

I have stayed at this hotel the past 3 years when attending a local event. Every year the hotel declines. This year is was filthy, run down, had a rude manager and there cockroaches in my room. There was one girl working the evening shift that was pleasant and worked hard. It’s totally unacceptable what Wyndham has allowed to happen to what was once a nice hotel. I’ll never stay here again.

Decent enough! Get what you pay for. In reference to all the other reviews, I never saw a single roach! The hotel needs a little makeover but everything was appropriate for the price I paid! Very great staff too!

Worst stay ever! Beautiful hotel from the outside, but that's all. Please stay somewhere else, especially if you have children. It didnt feel safe and secure. You will get your money's worth. Check-in took forever, and my key card for the room did not work the entire time, even though staff replaced the batteries. There was trash everywhere and every floor were hot and humid. When I turned the lights off, a roach came from behind the TV and I killed it. Worst of all, the pool didn't work and my kids were very disappointed that they did not speak of this when I called to check in on my reservation. Member

The front desk staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was just what I needed. Room was clean and comfortable. Accomodating for pets and service animals. The grounds were kept nice and the lobby/breakfast area was clean and organized. Pool area was cool, but the hot tub wasn't working. I hope that this gets fixed before my next stay.

The elevator is awful and the hotel looks rundown. The room is ok. I wont come back. Please stop writing responses that you are taking care of these problems. You write the same answer to all the people who have said the truth about this place. This is disrespectful. Either fix the WHOLE place or shut it down. Stop lying to people.

Stayed on second floor, it was clean and quiet. Impressive breakfast: waffles, yogurt, fruit, cereal, bagels, cream cheese. The cleaning staff were very nice, professional, helpful and did a great job of keeping everything clean. This is a pet friendly hotel with no additional pet fees. Grounds were well kept. The only complaint is there are only 2 luggage carts making it difficult to transport luggage, pet crates, etc. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Would definitely stay again

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Last weekend I traveled to Jacksonville (FL) with my partner who is a disabled person. We did every right. We pre booked a non-smoking king room with Mobility/Hearing, roll-in shower at the La Quinta by Wyndham in Jacksonville. But, upon arrival we were told that they no longer had a mobility roll-in shower room available. According to her, they were overbooked. Are you kidding me? And, she didn't even apologize and instead offered us two options: 'You can either take the room we have or you have to look for another hotel.' It means, it doesn’t matter what you reserve and pay for. Yes, we accepted her offer and decided to stay, only to learn that the room she assigned to us was already occupied by someone else. Conclusion: In the middle of the night, we had to search for another hotel, which ruined our trip. I guess you get what you pay for. Never again!!

Time for a remodel. I stay here because my work and it’s way over due for a remodel. MOLD growing everywhere..in bathtubs and on the ceiling. Curtains torn, roaches, ripped carpet so you will step on nails. Ice machine always broken so no ice. Hot tub out of order. Mattress are full of yellow and pee stains and pillows are disgusting!! Staff and front desk employees are all super nice and helpful and I do not blame them for the hotel. The owner needs to held responsible!!!! Shame…

Edit: Alert! I think my.12 yr old daughter got scabies from this hotel. Proceed with caution! Everything in this room is sticky! I am glad i brought my own disinfectant wipes. The rooms and especially bathrooms are not cleaned properly. The only nice thing here is the front desk personnel was very Professional and Pleasant. The hallways stink like mold. There is water damage every where. The hotel needs a huge remodel. I will never stay in this dump again. Don't trust the breakfast!

We we’re so excited to be in this hotel only to be disappointed and gross out when we arrived. All the details are in the photos I uploaded. For the price, we we’re expecting to enjoy our stay but it’s the opposite. By the way they only have cold breakfast. Staff are nice. Just the place needs to be remodeled inside.

Excellent experience from beginning to end! Front desk was pleasant and accommodating especially for a last minute reservation with two dogs! For a pet friendly hotel it was very clean other then a few stains on the carpets. Would definitely stay here again!

The first thing I noticed was how dirty and stained and awful everything was. This place needs to be renovated and remodeled. We had no hot water for a shower this morning, so going to our meeting without a shower. My poor little pug was attacked by a big German Shepherd mix. Not blaming hotel for that, but still wasn’t a good start. Elevator was so dirty it was disgusting. The door lock wouldn’t work on our room. Lightbulbs out. It felt creepy staying here. Find another hotel if possible.

Worst check in experience of my life. A very large track team party was checking in. The desk attendant was all by herself. She had to do each room individually. There must have been at least 20 rooms she had to deal with. The management had to have known this large party was going to arrive and left her all alone. The people checking in behind them (me included and four other parties) and 45 minutes later, it was finally my turn. This was clearly abusive to the attendant and there is no excuse for leaving her alone after business day close when all travelers are ready to check in. Shame on you La Quinta. To the desk attendant's credit, she never lost her cool and greeted me warmly. She needs a massive bonus for this night.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Management is rude and ignorant. This hotel has definitely seen better days. No hot water, horrible water pressure, fridge didn’t work well, rooms had roaches, elevator always broken, vending machine took my money and hotel wouldn’t refund it, candy bar was $3+, breakfast was average at best, loud music til 3am, constant car alarm going off and management was rude, callous and ignorant. I should have know this wasn’t a good place to stay as when I arrived there was a guest upset because there was no hot water. I’m not sure where other guests stayed but it couldn’t have been here! I even called corporate and complained and nothing happened cause complaints went right back to the hotel’s so called general manager. About the only good thing about this place is the staff. They were awesome. Despite bad management the staff went above and beyond to make my stay as pleasant as possible.

Don’t judge a book by its cover could not be more true! Outside looks nice but once inside it’s just awful- awful is being kind. First you are struck by this smell of someone trying to cover something up- it’s not a particularly pleasant smell in my opinion. Staff was not pleasant- felt like an inconvenience check in. Heading to the elevator- carpet is beyond desperate of being redone! I’ve seen better carpet laying out in the elements at the dump. Elevator was sketchy from the moment you step in- top held together by duck tape while the bottom was still open. Your entire ride up/down, you’re wondering how in the world this passed inspection! Also takes forever for water to get hot and there were lots of hairs all over the bathroom.

The three star rating is for the comfortable bed but it looks like the cleaning staff didn't really give the room the cleaning attention it needed. For the rates that they charge, there should be more updated sofas and chairs. I actually placed a towel on the sofa before sitting down. I couldn't bring myself to even shower in the room. It worked in a pinch for one night.

I rate my overall experience at this hotel as a 3 for "just ok". The place was clean but not to my standards. My standards for cleanliness goes far beyond the obvious. I look for attention to details. For instance, how clean the baseboard and the elevator face plate and things like that are. The present of roaches is another indicator of lack of attention to detail cleanliness. Unfortunately, I had an issue with my room key as well. Whenever I left my room, upon arrival I wasn't able to get back in. Each time I had to go back to the service counter to get my key reprogrammed. Enlight of everything that happened, my experience was still pleasant. I would recommend this hotel because nothing is perfect.

Rooms were clean but dingy, smoke detector was off hanging by the cord, curtains were ripped, there was mold in the bathroom around the vent that didn't work and there was a hole in the wall behind the chair. POOL IS SHUT DOWN FOR NOT ABIDING BY LOCAL HEALTH CODES. Not sure how long it's been that way but it's not a good look 👀 Fridge and microwave in the room are nice to have but I would've rather been able to use my key card to get in all of the doors from the outside 🤦🏻‍♀️ This is a decent property at a good price for the area, please clean up your building!! Very disappointing.

Literally the only hotel in the area that understands customer service and there's some high end hotels near by. I went through hell having all the other hotels demonstrate that they didn't care for business. I called this hotel, mentioned the accommodations I needed. They assisted me with a small reasonable fee. I understood those things would require a little extra. They were the only ones reasonable about it. Go here before you waste time at the others.

This hotel is nasty stay a way the smell of weed is horrible. The rooms are nasty dirty. It looks like the rent to all the homeless in Jacksonville. When you park at hight and walk to the door you see windows open and smells like weed. The staff is rude and nasty. The shower had mold in it. The furniture is out dated and filthy. I did not even want to sleep in the bed. I advised my company not to use this hotel any more.good luck if you chose to say. I say stay a way!!!

Thee absolute worst. The lobby, elevator, room ... STEAMING HOT!!! Came in the room and my son noticed a roach crawling on the floor and alerted me to it. Outdated. Has a smell that screams old and dilapidated. I told the staff about it and she accused me of lying about the roach problem but if there wasn't two witnesses to what I saw then I would think I was bugging. Seedy, unsavory... Maybe meant for the locals to live for an extended but definitely not meant for outsiders to come and enjoy a get away. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Beautiful place inside and outside. Very nice looking and green area with a small lake. Great customer customer service. And there is a breakfast. -1 star because the pool was permanently closed and half of lamps in the room didn't work. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. PS: Despite other reviews, there were no insects of any kind in the room.

This is by far one of the worst hotel visits I've had in a long time. The hotel is in desperate need of an update/makeover. I mean it needs a complete overall. The carpets were absolutely filthy and had a horrible smell throughout the hotel. I don't think those carpets can even be cleaned I think they just need to be completely replaced. There was a musty smell throughout and there was no AC in the hallway and it was an incredibly hot day. The rooms were not bad themselves but they just need to be updated. The walls need to be redone or repainted and the tile is very dated in the bathrooms. The elevated door looks absolutely scary like it could go at any time. I have stayed at LaQuinta's before and enjoyed my stays but I did not enjoy my stay here and I would definitely recommend that you find another hotel more suitable.

  • 2/5 Ree H. 9 months ago on Google
I wouldn't recommend staying here for long. I'm not sure what they have going on, but there is a lot of water damage, peeling wallpaper, and what appears to be mold on in the hallways. My coworker and I switched rooms due to some form of old bodily fluid splashed on the walls. Another coworker switched rooms due to a soaking wet bed and leaking ceiling. Incredibly humid inside the rooms with a prevalent, pervasive musty odor. If you have respiratory sensitivities, I suggest you steer clear until whatever it is happening here gets fixed. Our company stayed here a few weeks ago and there has been a significant decrease in overall quality, so don't hold your breath. Staff is great but overworked. I wish them well.

The room was disgusting. Floors were nasty. When I did my routine bed bug check I found so much dust and trash behind the beds... roaches that were dead, other type of roaches that had been smoked. If we weren't exhausted we would've immediately checked out before bringing anything into this room. The HVAC turned on and off every 30 seconds. There are barely any amenities except a coffee pot. Would definitely not return.

Was just about to book a week here as I was extremely impressed with the rates in combination with the reviews & the conditions of the rooms. Literally had my credit card out. The place looks really nice, however they want $25 a NIGHT for my one dog. They don’t offer weekly rates for dogs either. Such a huge disappointment. My pup is ESA certified too. Yet their still trying to collect all this money for a single emotional support animal. I mean $150 a week for my 5 year old dog that sleeps literally all day & destroys nothing? Come on. When will we start to do better for these fur babies? I’ll take my business elsewhere!

Overall nice experience. We loved that its pet friendly, though the appearance does reflect that. Perhaps carpet through the hallways isnt the best idea, it was stained, though the room was fairly clean, spacious, and the bed was very comfortable.

I am utterly disgusted and disappointed with my experience. We just checked in tonight 6.01.23 approx. 10p EST. The carpet is filthy in various parts of the hallway, there is a strong smell of cleaning supplies that don't reqlly mask odors of mildew and other unpleasant odors. Our sink got clogged jusy by running water in it and previous guests' spit bubbled up in our sink as we did not spit in the sink ourselves. The pool is closed and unaccessible despite stating it was open and accessible online. Rhe receptionist stated they only have King and Queen beds but our beds are smaller than King or Queen. The receptionist was kind enough ro offer me room 119 instead of 407, however, 119 smelled like urine and mildew masked with cleaning supplies. And as I was complaining, a couple I just watched check in came right back to front desk demanding another room due to the odor in their room. This is unacceptable, unethical, and unhospitable. I would like a full refund as this forces us to find somewhere else to stay for the remained of our visit to Jacksonville and most likely and at higher rate. What an inconvenience in addition to raising my levels of anxiety which I am on medication to keep in check.

Stayed here years ago and it was a nice place. Stopped by now and it's become a dump. Only reason we're staying is it's already late and I'm beat. Smells like piss in the hallway, room has a faint pot smell. Carpet is filthy everywhere. Just gonna sleep and leave, I don't dare eat breakfast here. We hope we don't catch anything. Edited to add… Lasted about an hour, just couldn’t take it. Got a refund and left, found a place about 20 minutes away and CLEAN.

Black mold on windows and curtains, molding in bathroom falling off and laying in floor. Massive amount of hair under sink. Bedbugs in bed. Elevator looks like someone threw up all over the walls and floor. Peeling wallpaper in halls. No refund offered to seek other accommodation. At night, the Halls smelled of marijuana with loud music playing until 3am. Pool shut down with a sign stating it is a hazard to health. I left this property covered in bedbug bites and with a cough from the mold exposure. This property is a health risk and should be condemned if not maintained properly for guest health. I was advised the hotel doesn’t give refunds to help pay for other arrangements due to the multiple health hazards.

This hotel really should be shut down. I had to stay here for 3 long days for work. The room was filthy. We had to change rooms because it smelled like marijuana and urine. Now in the second room, it didn’t smell but the walls had some type of white creamy substance on it. The television only gets 4 channels. The guest on one side of me kept opening and closing drawers like all day and night. The guest on the other side kept opening the window (there is no balcony and we’re on the 6th floor) and yelling down to someone. We couldn’t get any towels. When asked the housekeeper that was right outside my door, she said No. SMH. As you step out the slim pit of an elevator, the carpet looks like someone was playing with ammonia and bleach everywhere. This is how the rooms flooring looks as well. The ladies at the front desk were pleasant. There are holes in the walls and the top lock on the door doesn’t work, so we had to put something behind the door to prevent any mishaps. I was furious with my job for booking this place. At this point, why is this hotel still open? Where’s like 10 great hotels in the same vicinity. In conclusion, don’t waste your money or time here.
