I like when I have a great front desk experience. Michelle is a perfect example of how #frontdesk #experieces should be. Great guest communication and very polite and helpful. Jamal, is another example... TV had issues last night and after 3 trips down to front desk, #guestservices, well I gave up. So no television all night and into the morning until Jamal it was at the front desk this morning and when he was told about the issue he made accommodations to come up and he solved the problem with the TV I now have a TV so thank you Jamal for putting your guest accommodations being handled in an orderly fashion thank you very much Jamal.

We were grateful when we arrived early, and they helped us and allowed us in our room earlier. We were shocked when we went into our room. I can be very nasty here, but they say a picture speaks a thousand words. I have managed a Holiday Resort with accommodation for six and a half years. I was shocked, and it was clear that there was no supervision over the cleaners. They don't do their job, or management don't employ enough people, and there are not enough cleaners to do their job properly. Maintenance is also lacking. The floors were so dirty that we had to walk with socks. They have not seen a broom or water for cleaning for a long time. In short, you through your business away with rooms looking like this.

The lady at the front desk was very nice and welcomly. The room was nasty as hell and the floor was very dirty. The kitchen and refrigerator was dirty and stank. It's not worth $100.00 ..I could have sleep in my car i will never go back again..

It is a place to lay your head however the pictures online are a bit misleading. The room is small and needs lots of upgrading. There was no lock on the door for additional safety. We were put in the back among the people that live here weekly and it was a bit noisy. Will do better research next time. The lady at the front desk was helpful, friendly and just lovely.

The staff is wonderful here! They are extremely helpful and very accommodating! My room is very clean I sleep great here! This motel used to be a little on the dangerous /scary side and since they brought new management in it's seems to be completely cleaned up! I'm a single female and don't like to walk around late at night and I feel very comfortable here bc of there security they have on site all night until the morning! I would definitely stay here again!

RUN AWAY! FAST! We are having our house remodeled and have to stay at a hotel for up to 2 months. We started at extended on western way and it was German cockroach infested. No housekeeping etc. so we contacted Motel / Studio 6 on Phillips Hwy: We specifically asked about cleanliness of the rooms before we checked in. And the response was, “ we’re sorry to hear about your current situation but our rooms are a little older, but exceptionally clean and housekeeping is in daily. So we checked in for a week to start. Night 1, **. When I check in, I noticed my new white socks were black on the bottom, moments after walking threw the room for about 20 minutes. I took a damp towel to the floor and within minutes the entire towel was black… Microwave and stove fan are leaning at such a bad angle, microwave almost slides off the shelf it’s on. The fridge has horrible odors. Like it had a body decomposing in it. The cabinets have small traces of mold, and crusty filled corners inside. **. There is OLD DOG FECIES BEHIND THE BATHROOM DOOR, god I can’t wait to post these pictures Bathroom door does not close / latch. The stove vent is grease covered, rusted, and a massive fire hazard. Clumps of dirt under the counter space. Under kitchen sink, mind blowing. LAST GUESTS TRASH BAG AND RAG, chipped peeled paint, and the cabinets don’t close. Exhaust fan doesn’t work in bathroom. ** the kitchen sink leaks/runs water constantly. ** shower is gross, stained , not anywhere near hot. Or even nuke warm. ** Hair on the towels in the room. ** Room looks about 20 years old. The air condition unit is ancient and has never been cleaned. The filter was barely able to let air flow through. It was gross! BUT their rooms are exceptionally clean right? More like exceptionally should be condemned. I’ll be contacting public health dept, in the morning, even homeless shouldn’t live in a room like this. in room 358 have little dogs that Yap ALL DAY & NIGHT LONG, and the walls are so thin it sounds like the dog is barking at the crack under your doorI mentioned to front desk if they could ask the guest to leave TV on to help their dog from barking, The 2nd night, I get back to room after a 14 hour shift. I lay down. About 2 hours into sleeping I get up to use the restroom and there was 4 HUGE cockroaches running across the floor, and ONE ON THE BED I was just sleeping in.. I went to front desk, at 230 am, and I told him they’re trapped under containers in my room. His response and facial response was just as disgusting as the room, “okay and what the hell do you want me to do about it?” I asked for another room, and he’s unable to do that. This is disgusting. I’ll be sure to have health department here today. Sooo many health concerns, and false advertising. Thank god for recorded phone calls, let’s see if the “immaculate , clean rooms conversation gets me my full refund.. DO NOT STAY HERE! Studio 6 BAYMEADOWS is a very clean, renovated, responsible hotel. Just a shame they were booked and I resorted to this dump

The front desk representative was very helpful and kind. The grounds looked clean and staff was awesome. I freaking love this place better than extended stay locations. 💯

Ozzi was absolutely amazing and he is the best! I am very satisfied with everything he has helped me with during my stay at Studio 6. I highly recommend anyone to stay at studio 6 and come see the GM Ozzi, you'll be very happy with his outstanding customer service! I'd give more stars than 5 if I could.

Roaches roaches and more roaches. And I had to move rooms 2 times because the AC kept going out. And the doors you can tell have been kicked in or something they barely are secured it makes you feel unsafe. And be prepared to bring your own towels and wash cloths because they do not provide it anymore and lord does the staff have attitudes.

Thank you so much for being here for my extended needs. The team here is amazing. They always go above and beyond. I highly recommend this hotel. Under new management and it definitely shows.

New to Jacksonville, and transitioning between homes. I found that I have been more than accommodated. The rooms are a comfortable size and the prices are reasonable. Most of all the staff is amazing. Ozzy will go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed and comfortable. Everyone always has a smile on their face and happy to answer any questions you may have. By far much the best staff in Jacksonville.

Booked for four nights ended up not staying after seeing the room. The clerk was nice and understanding. The point is you need to spend more than 100 bucks for a decent place these days

Ozzy at the front desk was an absolute delight. The other gentleman when Ozzy was off was not helpful and definitely didn't go out of his way to be courteous. The rooms are ok if you get a corner room. The mattresses are not too comfortable (very firm, spring mattress).

Currently staying and I am glad we chose this place. Shawn has been extremely helpful and understanding of our situation. He has accommodated our needs and always has a smile on his face. The motel is peaceful and quiet. I have not noticed any security issues or cleaning issues since I checked in.

I stayed here for maybe two nights & ended up going to an Extended Stay America because it was that bad. The room wasn’t dirty I’d say, but it also wasn’t clean (the bed was made, stove top was clean, toilet/sink was fine) but there was this oil on the floor that was just a nuisance. The paint on the wall was so bad.. there was chips and marks all over the walls like there was just no care in the world for how the room looked. The light on the wall was hanging off.. The bathroom shower had ants which was really annoying. To add it off house keeping just opened the door and tried to enter without knocking.. luckily my dog scared her away, but like why would you do that? The staff wasn’t friendly either. When I checked in and out the women I spoke to just didn’t make you feel welcomed or like a guest. They were just rude especially the lady I checked out with.. she had an attitude the whole time because I had to wait for my dad to get a refund (he was on his way motel to put his card in) and she was just like wondering where he was and if he was going to be long & just flat out rude. But the last night I was there they had an “issue with staffing” and locked the doors to the front desk.. so numerous people who were checking in couldn’t be checked in because no one was there and I also was having a problem with my keycard not working so I had to sit in the car until 10:30ish at night (they locked the doors at like 6:30-7?) and wait for the security guard to help me into my room. Basically it was not a good stay & I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I would recommend the Extended Stay America honestly because that was a much better experience.

Jazz the assistant manager was phenomenal and always understanding. The rooms could use some upgrading but customer service & being clean goes a long way in my book!

Upon initially booking I was a bit doubtful and for good reasons given the county (Duval). To my surprise, the lobby was warm and inviting with a smiling receptionist at the counter. Didn’t like the first room but she gave me a better one with no hesitation. Pet friendly also a plus!

It's only a 3 because of the staff and the cleanness of my room. Shawn and Jessica are awesome. My first day, I checked in and put my luggage in my room and left to run an errand. Got back ,I couldn't get in. Jessica informed me that I was put in the wrong room,so to get my luggage safe she closed my key card and switch over my room. I met the manager Shawn, so polite and professional, and successfully running the daily business short staffed. He helped me with my reservation, not knowing Motel 6 and Studio 6 was the same property just different styles of rooms.I stayed at a hotel further up Phillips Hwy., thinking I was in a better place, but I wasn't. I implore the owners to give this property a remodel and upgrade it needs to have a 4-5 rating! Update the appliances, get rid of the old mildew smell. You have families that live there till they can do better. They pay their money to have something nice, be safe and treated with dignity.

This isn't a bad hotel at all. It's in a good area lots of shops lots of businesses, etc. I don't know why people are saying the staff are rude here, I have had nothing but great things from the staff they're very helpful very friendly very sweet there's nothing really bad to say about the staff. Are the rooms slightly outdated yes possibly but the rooms aren't bad at all I've stayed there for quite a while now and I haven't had any issues. I haven't seen any bugs like some of the other people were saying there are bugs outside of course there's lizards and everything else, is there a possibility one of them might get in the room, well yeah I mean they can come in underneath the door but other than that this is a great place to stay they have extended stay rooms, they have a little kitchenette area and a refrigerator and then they just have standard rooms. I've had nothing but a good experience here.

This property is a total Mess.... Saying it nicely. The dirt on the floor is so bad that your feet are pitch black. The refrigerator had old remnants of spilled food. walls had dirt and one place Milk. Hole in the wall was covered with toilet paper. Blood was on our mattress pad along with some cat or dog hair. one morning we were wakened at 3am with a women and man arguing and the man trying to run her over with his mustang. Police came and arrested both. Tried to diffuse the situation before they took them away. But they would not CALM DOWN. Police said all he heard is METH Speaking. Just a horrible place to waste $100.00 on a night. It is close to a lot of things though. My wife left a more detailed review on Google. Wish there was a way to get a refund. We did not think about it but we should have called the Health department.

The front desk clerk (shawn) was the best thing this hotel had to offer. I have two small children, I was approached and offered methamphetamines while getting an item from my vehicle, the room was not thoroughly cleaned, the shower pressure and water temperature was atrocious, all that and I Paid 85 dollars for a room that I could only sleep in... worst hotel experience in years..
