It's the biggest mural of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. It has the river Bhairav on one side and the massive collectorate building on the other side. The roads beside it are also quite clean and broad. You may not get inside this area on most of the days. But surely a Good place to have a quick visit from the outside.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Mural At that time it was the largest mural ever made in Bangladesh. Although many more murals of its equivalent can be seen nowadays. This mural on the banks of Bhairab makes Jessore district more attractive.

At the center of the town (Jessore) this monument is established, remembering Sheikh Mujibur Rahman (father of the nation). Very congested / small area around this monument with no vehicles parking space near it. And nothing exceptional or impressive architectural establishment it is.

The height of the base in front of the mural is 16 feet. The height of the rear terracotta is 22 feet. The installation size of the triangular mural is 80 by 88 by 92 cubic feet. It was designed by artist Tasnima Rahman Mumur. Abdul Aziz, a teacher of Fine Arts Institute, cut foreign stones and gave the shape of the mural.

It's a crowded place. If you are looking for medical test of any sort. Go to National Institute of Laboratory medicine and referral hospital which is quite cheaper less crowded Govt hospital.
