Used to be one of our favorite places to eat. Food was always consistently good-not this time! Restaurant was not busy, got seated right away. Asked for a straw for my water & butter for the bread(I like the oil & seasoning but I have trouble with it) I ended up going to the bar & getting my own straw. Ordered the stuffed mushrooms for appetizers-had 4 mushrooms-they were good but not great. Hubs ordered the pasta weesie The shrimp had zero flavor, the pasta was stuck together like glue and there was very little sauce. But, it was hot at least-more than I can say for my soup. The house soup is usually good, but it was very bland(not spicy as advertised) and it was at best lukewarm! I asked it to be warmed up & they did, but very bland. The person bringing our food from the kitchen was very nice! Our server was basically nonexistent-never checked on us until he brought the check. Doubtful we will return anytime soon

Dominique was a fantastic server...so polite and took part in our anniversary photo! The bartender Brian was great too and makes an excellent Old Fashioned! Great food and quiet atmosphere! Highly recommended! All staff were friendly and welcoming.

After a tough work day my husband picked me up and took me out to unwind. The peach sangria was recommended by the server and it did not disappoint! Minestrone soup and Caesar salad was good. We both ordered the Lobster ravioli, which was the right portion size. Attentive, prompt service. We enjoy eating here. I want a wine wall like theirs🍷

Overall, this visit was a good one. Service was friendly, we got seated immediately, the bread was nice and hot, the appetizer was flavorful and the entrees were okay. Pricing is pretty steep for some things. Like the appetizers are around $9.50 or so and to get asparagus as a side you have to pay for a premium side ($2, I believe it was) in addition to your meal that was already $20ish dollars. The unlimited bread is always a plus though and the service was super kind and responsive to our questions although sometimes we had to wait a bit long to get our server to our table (they were slightly understaffed). The scallops and shrimp were perfectly cooked, but the breading was charred too much… leaving an acrid taste so I ended up scraping off the breading and just eating the seafood. It was still good though. The chicken parm was huge and tasted great. We will be back for special nights out when we want to splurge a bit and get waited upon!

Food was good but I considered it a bit expensive for what we ordered. Our server was certainly not on his best game and we had to get his attention a couple of times as he forgot us and didn't check back to our table.

Excellent pasta and some of the best service I’ve had in a restaurant in recent memory. The linguine was spiced just perfectly with garlic and herbs and a tomato base. Along with the grilled chicken it was very flavorful. It was also too much to eat so I ended up bringing half of it home. The helpings are quite large in the pasta group. The gluten-free pasta was especially good and had I not known it was gluten-free I would’ve been unable to tell the difference. The waiter, I believe his name may have been Ed was right on top of things and never let my sweet tea get low. I look forward to a return visit. Considering the size of the helpings the price for my meal and my wife’s meal was very reasonable.

The drinks were great. Highly recommend their lemonade cocktail. Would not recommend the bread tower or their fries. The fries came out and they had no color… The bread tower was just saturated with butter, you could barely taste the spices over the butter. It also came with a “hot marinara ” and I don’t know if it makes me stupid. I wasn’t expecting it to be spicy, I just thought it was served hot not that it was spicy…🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Overall, we spent $40 and it wasn’t a fantastic experience or anything.

First off, amazing service. Ryan was our server and he was phenomenal. Bread tower was great, and the chicken soup prior to the main course was awesome. I ordered the veal marsala for the main course and while I was satisfied, the marsala sauce was off a bit. It was very thick and more like a gravy and a bit bland. It was still quite good overall but I was expecting a little more from it. Overall a fantastic experience and I will be returning.

Everything was truly exceptional. The food, atmosphere and bourbon selection was fabulous, and Emily was an excellent server. We've never had a bad experience at this terrific restaurant. Well done!

We had a pre-conference dinner for our VIPs, a large party ranging from PhDs to 7 year olds. Their team (Megan, Brian, Taylor, and the kitchen) took great care of us. Excellent and recommended.

The Mezzaluna was outstanding! The photo doesn't give it justice. The cheesecake was phenomenal and the mozzarella too.

I've only been to this place a total of like 5 times between Texas and Kentucky and they never disappoint. This year was for my mom's birthday (surprise for her) and a lot of our guests had never been before. Everyone loved it and got stuffed lol. If you go here I'd def recommend our server Lenny, he was friendly, knowledgeable and funny. I love this place.

Normally I am very pleased with the service and food. But this last time it was not busy, took about an hour to receive our meal. I always order well done filet, this steak was dry and not hot at all. Just because it's well done doesn't mean it can't melt in your mouth. I could tell they were short on cooks. One person was cooking along with an unhappy manager.. Not sure I will be back.

We were visiting from out of town and had about 25 people to serve. Wanted to get a nicer carry out order, and avoid eating fast food. Our entire order was correct ! We had every little thing in our bag, down the oil and seasoning for the bread. The carry out staff was friendly. Would highly recommend !

Make reservations for the wine pairings dinner held every month. You'll have a lovely evening and enjoy wonderful food especially prepared for the wines served. The manager and staff are friendly and attentive making for a great experience.

A busy Friday evening and a party of 6 so we expected a bit of a wait. We got a table with no problem. The waiter was attentive but a little off putting. The food was acceptable but nothing special. I would go back during a quieter time and try again but overall it was okay.

Emily was our service and was an absolute delight! She was attentive, friendly, genuine, and just a joy to be around! She deserves a raise and everything good in the world! 12/10 would go again because of her outstanding service. The food was also well matched to her service and delicious.

I visit for my same order each time....a pitcher of Blackberry Sangria, minestrone soup & salad. Perfect with bread & dipping herbs ! Minestrone is like no others. you must try it!

We made a reservation online. When arriving at this establishment we were told it would be another 45 min wait for a table. They said once you arrive then your wait starts. So I ask what is the point of reservations? This call ahead and online reservation is a joke. Do not recommend at all. But over all the food is amazing. The service has declined a bit.

First time eating here and it was amazing. Service was great had a long wait time but the service from the staff made up for it as well as the food. They got us what we asked for and then some and kept our drinks refilled.

Worst restaurant experience he have had in a very long time. Salads never made it to the table, food was cold and when we spoke to the manager she offered to "heat up the plate". Yes, that's what we want, the food to be microwaved. Finally got hot pasta but had the aftertaste like it was boiled with the lobster ravioli. They did discount the food and gave us a free dessert but at that point we were just happy to be able to leave.

Overall it was a good experience. I wouldn’t say the food was great it was ok. The service was definitely great. I got the chicken Alfredo my husband got the lasagna. The food tasted good but was barely warm. I expect when paying $20 a plate for pasta dishes it to be hot. We got the bread app it was a good price at $5 for bread and dipping sauces but the sauces needed to be warmer they were cold. I would try it again if the food was warmer.

Appetizer trio is not worth the hype for the price, calamari was chewy and pale. Our meals were ok except for the pasta with chicken which wasn’t very good. Service was good but overall, we probably wouldn’t visit again.

My husband and I came here on our wedding night after having a lunchtime ceremony. Since then, we've come back for many date nights and each time been treated just as kindly as when we said we were there for our wedding. The food is always very good, and this is one of the few places that we ALWAYS order dessert!

Carabba serve tasty food, taking inspiration from the Italian cousine. Nevertheless, spoiler: in Italy cookery is slightly different. Then, i tried the Tuscan sirloin steak with garlic mashed potato and I am defintely satisfed by the cook. Waitress was so kind and asked me feedbacks several times during the meal. All for less than 30 dollars, i will pass by again.

The calamari appetizer is always a good bet. Had the shrimp and scampi linguini Ala Vodka. It was absolutely delicious. Wanted to stop eating because I was full, but it got better with every bite. Our waiter, Dexter, was very nice.

My family and I dined at 12PM on a Sunday. Our server, who was also the bartender gets 5 stars! She was very pleasant, professional and she was on top of everything! The appetizers where very tasty, hot and came out on time. The salads where just okay. The food was good but if you're looking for real Italian food, this is not the place. I'm giving this place 3 stars because the restaurant is very dirty, very dusty and the ladies rest rooms where disgusting!

To pay $30 for an entire and it be something I can get from and likely better from a frozen entree is hugely disappointing. The picture on their app is definitely not portrayed correctly. I will never order door dash for this restaurant again. They also messed up my order. If this is what they serve in the restaurant I can’t see how they will survive. Sadly dissatisfied and ate in their restaurant before and the quality is terribly different and sad to say. Not spending any more of my hard earned money here again. Good luck!

This was our first time here. Very cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Ashley was our server and she took great care of us. She was very professional and friendly. The house salad was very tasty! We split a pasta dish and it was the perfect amount to fill us up. Thankful for the gluten free pasta option. We will be back!

Great amount of food for the price. However, I sent my entire plate back. The flavors of the sides and even the steak were terrible. I’m not a picky person and I rarely ever send food back. It was not good at all. I had a great server. I wouldn’t return though. Maybe it was just a one off.. but not worth returning to try again

Went to a wine dinner. The food was good (food was a little cold when he came out). The wine paired with each food selection was spot on. Would have been better if the wine person would have talked louder or came out to go over with the people on the other side of the wall.

Service was good. The oil & seasonings that come with the bread basket, was far too salty. Waiter said the seasoning was comprised of onion salt, garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Now you know. Lasagna was "Good!" Salmon Caparo was excellent. Grilled asparagus was tender, and a bit overly salty for my taste. Overall the entrees were decent.

This was our first time there. The appetizer that we had was excellent, if somewhat pricey, four pieces for $10 of Small stuffed mushrooms. The male server was completely lackadaisical, uninterested, and did not appear to even fill the water glasses until the check he had in his hand. I will not mention his name, but this guy disappeared. I looked for him in the kitchen he was nowhere to be seen. I'm guessing he was somewhere on his phone. The entrees were what we would call average or below average, in both a pseudo Italian Construction, and smallish servings. We went to Carrabba's because someone told us they never had a bad dish. When we looked at the menu, we knew we were not in a top class restaurant and we did not expect the highest quality. But we did expect it to be good and tasty. When we get a bill approaching $60, we expect at least to be very pleased with smallish servings, and are thoroughly disappointed when both the final product is merely average or less, and the serving looks like something out of Golden Corral. We will not complain to spend approaching $100, if the meal is excellent and the service also. We like the decor of the restaurant, and the atmosphere was moderately quiet. Do not expect much at this location, unless you feel like tossing away your money for merely adequate food, a kind of Italian McDonald's. I do not know if all Carrabba's are like this site, but we will try another to see if the comparison is similar. John D Willis Shelbyville Ky
