Caution! inspect box before consuming. Huge dead bug in my pizza!!!! I’m sad because it looks so good and has great reviews, but I don’t think I can return. 🤢

On our to do list forever and a most worthwhile visit! It's been in the 90°s in JC so after walking to the Lido in Journal Square, we took the long walk round the reservoir to The Heights. We got in to LoFi, immediately sat down in the cool AC room and ordered 2 amazing frozen cocktails. I had the mezcal and grapefruit, my wife had the rum and mint. Thirst quenched, we decided to order pizza. Low Fidelity are rightly famous for their pizza but beware, it's not your typical NYNJ thin crust, it's a Detroit pie. Motor City with honey ordered to share and a wedge salad were delicious. Special mention for the service too, the guys sorting drinks and orders were exceptional, a credit on top of a brilliant bar. Well worth a jaunt up to The JC Heights for something a little different.

Love this place. You can’t miss with the detroit style pizza. The motor city is my jam and you can’t go wrong with the plain either. They even have one with pineapple on it that surprisingly works! The bourbon mint tea was my drink of choice and had a few of them. The backyard also is a nice touch where you can sit and enjoy the nice weather. Highly recommend.

Finally got the chance to check this place out on a Saturday at around 12:45. It wasn’t too busy but service was a bit slow since the poor bartender was doing double duty making drinks and serving food. We ordered two pizzas between me and my husband, which was really ambitious because we probably ate like 1.5 slices each and we were already stuffed. The pies are pretty heavy so I would probably only recommend getting more than one if you have at least 4 people. We had leftovers for days, which I normally wouldn’t be mad at pizza leftovers but we literally ate this for at least 4-5 more meals and at that point, it’s a chore (but I’m also not one to let pizza go to waste). The two pies we chose were the Earth First (crimini mushroom, shiitake mushroom, caramelized onion, ricotta, truffle oil, and parsley) and the Thuper Thupreme (sweet sausage meatballs, pepperoni, spicy sausage, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, olives, marinara, and oregano). Both were great and so cheesy, with the cheese pushed to the edge, making it super crispy, as a Detroit pizza should be. But like I said, one slice is already really filling. Definitely not something you would want to eat too often. Will be back to try some of their other menu items. The Street Corn Named Desire pie, and the burrata caught my eye.

The good: Love the vibe in here. Great staff. Amazing pizza. Good drinks. The area for improvement: Add some apps (bar food). Specialty cocktail list is a 7.5 out of 10 missing just a few more options. All around, go visit and you'll love it.

Really authentic, excellent Detroit style pizza with innovative toppings, and a great variety of healthy salads, not to mention outstanding cocktails. Great vibe, too.

Tried this pizza for the first time recently and it was very good! We tried 2 vegetarian pizzas and both were excellent. I especially loved how crispy the eggplant came out and also stayed when we ate the leftovers again!

I had the Margarita pizza they also give you a packet with honey chili... When I 1st saw the pizza I was a little disappointed but when I took a bite, WOW😲!!!.... My eyes rolled back like I was possessed with the PIZZA DEMON👹! It was absolutely delicious!!!......The bartender said try dipping the pizza into the honey chili and WHEN I DID I was SLAPPED IN THE FACE WITH FLAVOR!!! DAMM THIS WAS GOOD!!!! EXPLODING FIREWORKS OF ADDICTING FLAVOR!!!...... great place as a bar restaurant... great environment ....GREAT PIZZA!!!!.... .. DAVE from Barstool pizza Gave a pizza shop in Brooklyn a 9.3, I went there had 2 slices from them and it really was a 7.5, it was kind of bland.... I come to realize Dave from Barstool pizza likes bland, boring flavors, I CANNOT trust him but it was his video that got me interested in going to this Bar restaurant........ If you like bland, boring flavors, this is NOT the place for you! ....10 STARS!!💪👍👍👍

We’re on a NJ pizza quest & this place is at the top of the list! Worth the trip if you are traveling from northern or southern NJ (as our crew did) it’s worth it. Pizza is outrageous. If you’re a fan of mushrooms, the Earth First pizza is a must, Margherita & Motor City we’re also excellent. Salads were fresh & delicious. Cocktails, beer & wine selections were interesting & perfect compliments to our Saturday lunch. Kudos to Kirsten -she was incredible. She tended bar, took & served all of dishes…all with a smile, while offering thoughtful suggestions. Our compliments to the chefs in the kitchen for their creative, delicious dishes. We will be back to this gem!

This place is amazing. Great food and great cocktails. Cool decor when you walk in. They have pin ball machine backs hanging up in some spots which is cool. It would be even cooler if they had a pin ball machine. But anyway this place is still awesome. Filling up at 530 on a Saturday and an hour later it was filled. A big party in the front as well. Staff were extremely friendly and approached us right away asking were we wanted to sit. Each cocktail we got was excellent and worth the $14. My husband got the notorious FIG and it was delicious. You could actually taste both the fig and cocoa. It was so good. I got the hitching a ride which had pineapple flavors and made me feel like I was on an island. We shared one pizza. 6 slices per pizza and I thought 1 pizza was enough to share. It was thick and crispy and gooey. We got the motor city which is a pepperoni pizza. It comes with hot honey on the side. It’s spicy as is with the pepperoni so I didn’t use too much of the hot honey, but it was very good. The only other Detroit style pizza I have tried was Emily squared. And this place is much better!! At least in my opinion. Apparently this place had been open for 5 years and I had no idea! We only moved to the area a couple of years ago. We will definitely come back!

Very attentive service, let us get drinks while we waited outside (only a short wait for a Friday night!). The pizza is phenomenal--can't wait to come back and try other flavors! We got the Motor City and Aloha Satellite and both were out of this world.

Motor City Pizza and Wedge Salad are good. I remember the pizza being a lot better a couple of years ago. The other salads fail to impress. If you get the Street corn prepare for it to be on a half cob - more difficult to eat than if it was on a full cob. I only see one type of pepperoni on the pizza that boasts two. Also, they charge you extra for a small silly McDonald’s - style packet of hot honey. With prices as high as they are it’s pretty obnoxious they even charge you for a packet or two. Make sure they place it in the bag because on pick up we had to go back in and grab it. Also this place is INSANELY and debilitatingly LOUD inside. Had to scream my name three times when attempting to pick up my order. The doorman is super kind :)

Nice restaurant in the Jersey City heights. They have a nice outdoor sitting area with a few tables. We got the Detroit style pizza and it was good. I was disappointed in paying $8 for a small glass of beer, and the pizza was pricey. Overall it was a good experience

This place is one of my two favorite bars on JC. Great vibes, music, Detroit pizza and nice beer selection. Then back garden really seals the deal!

It used to be great. Now is run by misogynistic staff. One of the main bartenders would treat you great if you are with someone willing to flirt with him. The moment his ego is hurt he will make your whole group's visit super awkward and uncomfortable. In this day and age staff should be trained that they can not treat people like possessions and respect others when they do not show and interest in them. Over the last couple of months the whole feel of the place is gloomy and depressing inside. It steams from the terrible attitude of the staff. Take a short walk to Fox and Crow and feel the vibe change. Much better.

It's a vibe!!! Delicious Detroit style pizza. Dough crispy and light. Plenty of indoor, outdoor and bar sitting. Live DJ.. Cocktails are unique and delicious. We had KISS which was refreshing. And Future me problems, yummmm. Pizzas have six pieces each. You will not regret coming here.

I get the COVID restrictions and that public places should practice hygiene to ensure safety, but last time I went the whole place smelled of bleach… it was so strong I had to leave. Music is good. Quality of food is meh. To be honest, the place has been going down in quality since it first opened. Good place to hang out only because there’s no other place nearby that competes with it in its style.

The staff here is very friendly and the food is spectacular. The environment is very open and you immediately feel comfortable when you walk in the door. I highly recommend ordering the pizza from here because it definitely will not disappoint!

Was at a beautiful wedding here last night, and had a fantastic time. The staff here at LoFi were absolutely amazing. They did were serving lovely drinks and even better food. Truly appreciated the care and attention they gave to everyone at the event.

What if pizza hut made the best pizza and served good beer and excellent mixed drinks? That's how I describe this restaurant and bar. The menu almost entirely consists of deep dish pizza, from a simple margherita on up to so e more exotic toppings. Outdoor seating is available and highly recommend.

Best pizza I've ever had. The crust and atmosphere are always banging. Menus change enough to surprise but they know when to keep something good. Cocktails are on fleek. That's right. I said it. Always a good time.

Great drinks and a fun, if not dark, bar room setting. The classic pinball machine scoreboards hang lit over tables full of young folks chowing down on Detroit style pizza. Very solid list of cocktails, which you'd expect from the folks who brought you the Archer. Definitely an improvement over the Trolley Car bar it replaced.

Awesome pizza. Awesome drinks. My girlfriend suggested this place as she was told great things. Low Fidelity didn’t disappoint. We arrived late last night and ate at the bar. Pizza is legit Detroit style. If you’ve never had Detroit style, it’s like a square pan pizza but lighter. Such a great neighborhood spot. Will def put this in the rotation!
