My
recent
stay
at
the
Waldorf
Astoria
in
Jerusalem
-
the
worst
service
I
have
ever
received
at
a
hotel.
Lets
start
with
the
breakfast
-
I
found
hairs
on
the
cheese
platter,
right
next
to
the
kitchen
door
at
the
breakfast
restaurant.
I
notified
an
employee
which
ignored
me.
10
minutes
late
I
got
up
again,
and
the
hairs
were
still
there.
But
that
wasn't
the
worst
part
of
the
stay.
My
room
had
ants,
and
they
were
everywhere
-
mainly
around
the
shower
and
restroom
area.
When
I
notified
the
receptionist
he
yelled
at
me
and
refused
to
see
the
footage
I
took
of
the
hairs
and
the
ants.
He
immediately
dismissed
me.
When
I
asked
to
speak
to
a
manager,
he
told
me
"There
are
10
managers
in
this
hotel.
To
you,
I'm
the
manager
now
and
you
can
talk
to
me".
He
later
turned
around
to
the
other
receptionist
and
told
him
"Ha,
this
guy
sure
came
to
review
the
hotel"
and
they
both
laughed
and
told
me
to
go.
It
was
humiliating,
especially
as
I'm
a
Hilton
diamond
member
and
at
a
Waldorf
Astoria
hotel!
A
chain
that
is
so
proud
of
its
service!
Now
yes,
the
hotel
is
gorgeous,
and
I
did
receive
good
service
at
dinner
even
though
the
food
was
mediocre
at
best.
The
spa
was
nice
as
well.
I've
stayed
at
many
Waldorf
Astorias
in
the
past,
and
I
have
never
received
such
humiliating
service
from
a
receptionist.
I
later
complained
to
Hiltons
phone
line
and
was
told
that
someone
would
contact
me.
That
was
over
a
week
ago.
I
expected
so
much
more
after
being
a
loyal
diamond
customer,
but
I
it
seems
that
this
Waldorf
Astoria
doesn't
really
care
about
it's
customers.
