The only plus point of the hostel is the location, it is right 5 minutes to the old city walls. Nie podobało się · I booked a city view room but got a backyard view room with fans making noise all night long! I reported a problem that it was impossible to sleep at night but was offered a smaller room overlooking the same backyard. Good advice, check what they offer before you pay! Especially if you book a room with a city view. Other things : 1. Breakfasts monotonous, no fruit, never any natural fruit and any juices. 2. No tea / coffee making facilities in the rooms 3. The hostel offers guided tours of the old town for a fee of 100 ILS / person. 4. Shared kitchen, quite poorly equipped

Location is great, very close to the old city and main street. The staff is very nice and attentive. Unfortunately the rooms (or at least our room) has seen better days; AC made loud noises, walls were dirty and windows could neither be opened nor were they closing sufficiently to block the noise from the street. They were also so dirty that it was barely possible to look outside. All in all for the price (and minor price difference to "real" Hotels) I would have expected more.

The hostel is extremely clean. The beds were clean and private with a curtain, and the shower was really clean. There’s a nice view on the balcony and a game room to hang out. The staff were really helpful and nice. The location is perfect… less than ten minute walk to Jaffa gate. I will definitely be back.

Four days before arriving at the hostel, I asked them if they could cancel the room because I had been very sick in a hospital in Amman for 2 days and we (my husband and I) would not be able to visit Jersusalem, as we would be returning to our country when I was discharged. They told me that they made me pay 100$ (we had 3 nights total 366$), not content with showing 0 understanding for the situation, they charged me the 366$. I do not recommend this hostel at all, if you have any problem they will not help you at all.

Perfect location, but the room wasn’t clean. They’ve made an effort to clean it right away and left a wine bottle for us which was very nice. The room is a bit small for 2 ppl.

My review is to help people know that the pictures on the hotel are very deceitful. The entrance is more like a shelter. The staff is aloof. Maybe because they have so many good reviews from the past.

If it's your first time in Jerusalem and you don't mind a hostel, this is the place. I've stayed maybe 6-7 times, probably 4-5 weeks here in total. No hostel is perfect, its impossible, but they will respond to your needs and if there's any issues with bad guests they will deal with it. PS, pay extra for the breakfast and fill your stomach to save cash ;) It is close to the old city, the real reason to come to Jerusalem. Also I recommend at least a few days in Jerusalem, don't try to do it all in one day it's a bad idea, unless you have no choice. The longer the better!

Very okay place to stay. The beds are awful. Don’t expect much, I mean, you get what you paid for… (sometimes a bit over priced) like majority of the hotel/hostels in Israel

Very friendly and informative host reception staff. Breakfast is delicious and cheap compared to the surrounding cafes. Very convenient place. Get off at City Hall Tram Stop instead of Jaffa Tram Stop

Great hostel near Jaffa gate. Friendly and competent staff. Even contacted me to inform me that they found my headset in the room. Room was clean and comfortable, but a bit on the small side for 2 adults.

Nice place to stay for a few nights in Jerusalem. Staff is friendly and hepful and location is great, being close to the Old Town and 25 minutes away from Yitzhak Navon train station. Room was perhaps a little cramped, but that's something you accept in a 12-bed dorm... All in all, I recommend it!

Very good accommodation & facilities. Really enjoyed our stay & probably the best location in Jerusalem to get to the old city. Only complaint would be about the young Israeli women receptionist who’s attitude wasn’t very friendly & also gave us the wrong times for the bus to Eliat , meaning we were up at 6am & waiting over an hour for the next bus, not very helpful & a waste of our time.

Amazing hostel. It was a truly great experience. Not only is very well located, but the staff are really nice and the bedrooms are big enough. The common space area is great for having some beer, playing pool or just chilling out. Great experience. Super recommended

Perfect location, clean spacious rooms. Lots of space in common areas to chill. Finding staff can be tricky when you need something.

First time staying at a Hostel and I was a little nervous but this place was amazing! Very friendly staff! Very nice and clean rooms! We had a 2 floor little room with seating area and then bed upstairs! We really enjoyed the outdoor patio also! The breakfast is simply but good! Would definitely stay here again!

Kiva pikku Hostelli keskellä Jerusalemia, Ben Jehudaan ja vanhaan kaupunkiin lyhyt kävelymatka. Kodikkaat, pikkuiset huoneet, hyvät sängyt, ilmastointi, vaatteiden pesukone ja silitysrauta. Erinomainen israelilainen aamupala. Ystävällinen palvelu!

Stayed 4 nights and loved it! The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is adequate and loved eating at the rooftop. The location is also great, very convenient for sightseeing and restaurants. Highly recommend it!

Location is amazing! Near all the tourist attractions, breakfast 🍳 was great , especially considering the low price of 35 sekel. Staff is very helpful and kind . Great view of Jerusalem from the balcony.

Service - 5/5 Location - 5/5 Bathroom cleanliness 5/5 Bed cleanliness 5/5 Bed & Pillow comfort (for me) 5/5 Room in general 4.8/5 (just needs some fresh pain here and there... otherwise room #9 was really fine) Street - quiet and rather clean For my simple needs as a tour-guide coming for a stay in Jerusalem, this was perfect. The breakfast is diverse, and very satisfying, and the design, decor, and balcony were all wonderful. Seeing the sunrise over the Judean Desert and the Mount of Olives - priceless!

Visited a friend staying at the Post. Economy room was tiny! No room to put a bag or hang clothes. No shelf, closet , or hanging space. The bed was adjacent to a wall on one side, and even the foot of the bed was blocked by a wall on the side of the person sleeping by the wall, kind of like a window seat on an airplane when you have to climb over sleeping passengers if you want to get out . Definitely don’t book an economy room if you ever had claustrophobia. The shower was small, no shelf or anything to place soap, shampoo etc. The view from the window was garbage bins on the street. On the plus side, the location is excellent, good vibe, friendly staff and good service.

The hostel is a gem close to the old city. Convenient location: you can get there by light metro L1 from the bus station, City Hall stop. Around many cafes and services. There is also a supermarket. Exceptional welcome: the staff were immediately courteous and friendly. He also helped us to buy bus tickets to Eilat via the internet as the site is only in Hebrew. Clean room with all facilities, except the hairdryer. They change towels everyday. Very comfortable. Breakfast is not included but it can be added: it is mostly salty. Every evening, between 5:00 / 6:00 pm they organize happy hour, 1 beer for the price of 2 which can be drunk on the large terrace. If you have the room facing on jaffa street, it might be a bit noisy. If you are passing by Jerusalem, stopping at The Post Hostel is a guarantee.

Centrally located, very convenient. Great lounge and play area. However do bring your own toiletries as they can run out of body wash.

Great Value for money. Excellent location. Starting from the reception, through the rooms and cleanliness of the place, all was great. Breakfest is a bit standard and boring, but it dose not hurt the general feeling. For sure we are coming back

Our short stay at the Post Hostel in Jerusalem was nice. The hostel is situated perfectly, walking distance from the old city and close to an abundance of bars and restaurants. We arrived in the middle of the night and were welcomed by a very friendly night clerk. Alex (the front desk manager) was always very quick to reply by email before arrival and assisted in organising a taxi bringing us to the hostel late at night.

The personnel was very friendly and helpful, the location was great (right between the new and old centers) and the common rooms were fun places to meet new people. The room itself was fine, although the bed was lacking in pretty much every way (too small, squeaky, not comfortable). The location was pretty noisy as well, but that's part of the charm of staying where the city is so much alive. If you're looking for an affordable place at an amazing location with a social vibe, look no further.

Stay away from this place. Gave them deposit before Covid for refundable rooms. They agreed to refund when the trip obviously had to be cancelled. Been chasing them for over a year now for money and they won't respond. They will take your money and not give it back.

Was here with a large group, fantastic place. Meant for large groups and English speakers especially, if you're booking a room for one or both I strongly recommend

Really enjoyed our 1mond stay at the Post hostel. The location is great to discoffer the very different areas of Jerusalem (like the old city, jehuda market, azza st. etc). The hostel was really clean en the staf was very nice. Would definitely recommend this place for a stay in Jerusalem!

I was traveling with family and friend, we reserved two gallery rooms. they were small (as expected) but set well, clean and well maintained. The location is wonderful near Mamilla, old city, King David rd, Jaffa st, the market and a lot of restaurants around and more, the staff was great. Due to COVID19, there is no food/breakfast served but they sale alcohol and there is a free coffee/tea 24/7 stand. One think we struggled is the parking, the closest parking is charging 90 NIS a day but you can leave the car in Mamilla parking which charge 50 NIS a day (we never used the car, only taxis and tram)

Clean and smart. Really nice industrial style right down to the layout of the mezzanine bedroom suites. Friendly staff and really nice atmosphere. When we're through Corona I can really see this place being a cool place to sit and drink and play pool and sheshbesh, and look out over the center of Jerusalem.

For a low cost hostel accommodation, it's hard to beat the post hostel. The location is great, right between the old city and the market, and the facilities are clean and updated. During my stay there were still international travel restrictions so the place was quiet, making it a good place to get some work done. The best part was the warm and friendly staff, they go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need. It was a great base for exploring Jerusalem and would recommend it to any traveler on a budget.
