in
Jessore
has
formally
started
its
journey,
providing
an
important
backup
for
data
storage
in
the
country.
Prime

Sheikh
Hasina
formally
inaugurated
the
newly-built
park
via
teleconference
on
December

opening
a
new
horizon
of
potential
in
the

Following
the

all
the

non-government
organizations
can
be

from
the

if
the

faces
any
glitch.
“This

is
Bangladesh’s

(and)
can
be
used
if
the
first

faces
problems,”

“Data
can
be
collected

Alam
said
he
hoped
the
park
will
soon
start
fully-fledged
operations,
even
though
innovation
and
software

work
has
already
been
ongoing
for
some
time.
“The
park
started
off
with
six
companies
five
months
ago,”
he
said.
“In
the
second
stage,
55
companies
sought
permission
to
work
in
the
park,
but
after
scrutiny,
we
allotted
space
to
39
of
them.”
Jahangir
Alam,
also
a
joint
secretary
of
the
government,
said
that
the
Software
Technology
Park
has
been
set
up
in
Jessore
targeting
the
10
districts
under

He
said:
“IT
industry
entrepreneurs
from
both
home
and
abroad
can
invest
here.
This
