Was looking for a good surf teacher/guide around Weligama. I didn't want to deal with local teachers that were just pushing beginners in white water saying "paddle-paddle-popup-areyouOK?" Good Story have ISA certified instructors who help students in becoming confident surfers, understanding culture and etiquette, knowing history and other useful (or just interesting) things. Lessons consider student skills and weather conditions, I always felt well-protected even on my first riff spot. These guys are dedicated and friendly, most of them are Russian speakers. If you're addicted to longboarding - ask Max Timukhin, who helped me to progress on my first green waves with many relevant advices/corrections.

This is the best school with great staff! They help beginners and share their precious experience with surfers who already know something. Obviously, if you want to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of surfing, then you should not lose sight of this place.

Best school! If you want good coach and person try too practice with Ivan and Stas) After 3 practices you be like dolphin on a wave!!!

Let me tell you friend. GOOOD STORY is one of the best things that happened to me on the paradise island of Ceylon. The best vibes. Friendly staff. There is all the necessary equipment. And the most important thing is cool instructors who will teach you how to surf and love it 👌

Good story Surf is an amazing place for spending your dream vacation. Get rest in all the best surf traditions : incredibly hospitable and friendly guys running the hotel and spending time with their guests, really professional surf coaches, nice rooms, and unforgettable atmosphere of Sri Lanka which you will never feel in one of the fashionable hotels that are always alike. I spent 2 weeks there and it was so perfect that I had strong desire to stay there forever which is not typical for me! All in all, choose this place and let your dream vacation started))
