Worst people ever. Very racist as they only allow white people.. The bouncer are the worst. He commented " I don't like your face " to one of my friend. Also tried to assault our friend. I would not even give them one star.

Rude behaviour of bouncers, harassing people who are not white. Not recommended for international people who are not from here. Bouncers don't care whether you are a girl or a boy they attack you physically. I hope this behaviour stops as kaiserlautern University is an internationally recognised place.

Last night experience with awful, impolite, discriminative and abusive behaviour of the security staff. After around 1 minute mimic with pantomime playing to convince us that he want to prevent us from getting into the bar, "This is my property and I do not allow you in" he responded finally. He wished to be the bar landlord, and was a bit angry of this mismatching, I believe.

Rude behaviour from Bouncers. If you are not white, you are not allowed in the club as per the guy who stopped my friends and also a student group from entering. Such places should be boycotted

The security guys treated us very badly. Me and my friends faced Racism by so called 'SECURITY'. The security is an absolute disaster! He harassed my friend and hurt her hand while she was filming the incident. If you are not white, then don't think about going into this place. Instead go to Pflaumen-Baum, there the security and boss are very nice and cooperative.

The most racist place I’ve ever been in Germany. The bouncers would not even consider to look at your ausweis to let you inside. Never had such bad experience anywhere else. Not all recommended.

Not a lot of variety in regards to alcohol and the staff are less than friendly but not rude. You won't be able to order food here and I wouldn't recommend when going out with a group of friends. I also remember a glass breaking every 10 minutes, but I'm not sure if that's normal or out of the ordinary. I recommend trying somewhere else in the area.

The bar itself has a nice atmosphere. However, the waiters we keep encountering with my foreign friends are very much rude. I stopped going there because the personnel were just too stuck up and rude.

Love stopping by here for a quick meter or two.

This is the new location from the original Hannenfass, which burned down around 2 years ago (in 2016). The original bar is being rebuilt, but this is still a good location for a drink so I hope they keep it open after the new bar reopens. The balcony offers a nice view of St Martinsplatz, particularly in the summer.

This place used to be a great place to hangout, however, seemingly their disdain for American patrons has grown over the years. We were the only ones in the place for some lunch and day drinking, we were polite and well behaved, but they seemed eager for us to leave all the same.

It's so likely that you'll be treated with disrespect if you're not white! My friends and I were denied entry by the bouncer for no reason. Even one star is considered overrated I'd say!

Ice cold drinks, variety of beers, great location the atmosphere is just absolutely amazing, customer service was good, recomend the meter beer taster. Entry is to the side away from the street, and if available definitely set on the balcony amazing urben city vibe.

Friendly wait staff with a nice ambience. Not shy with pouring the liquor. Drinks reasonable prices based on type of drink. Cash only so be sure to bring Euros with you.

If you want to disconnect from everyday work life you can drink good beer here until you fall off your seat. It is one of the most popular and packed places of the entire city. If you can handle the masses and tons of alcohol this is the right place for you.

Wonderful atmosphere. Good music/older crowd downstairs with a full club upstairs. There are also smoking rooms here!

I just had an excellent meal at Hannenfass! I got the baguette with chicken filet and everything about it was perfection! The chicken was perfectly cooked and flavorful and the baguette was fresh with perfect crispness on top. The süss weinschorle was also really good!

Amazing as usual. I have visited Hannenfass almost like after 8 years since I left KL. Always special with lots of memories!
