👍👍 The museum tells the story of Kant's life. It will be of interest to tourists at the beginning of their stay in Kaliningrad. There are no original works by Kant, at most a book about him. People often mention Kant, museum,

I liked the museum. The guide gave an informative tour. The museum is located on several floors; you have to climb right up to the roof. Great exposure. Even the women who look after visitors in the halls have information about the exhibition on display, and you can turn to them with questions. The only thing is that the collection of modern coins from different countries seemed unnecessary. It has nothing to do with Kant or the Council.

We went on two thematic excursions to the cathedral. Both made a deep impression on me. We started with the author's excursion "The Cathedral: Hidden Signs and Secret Doors" by the artist of the cathedral, Vladimir Chilikin. The very charming and somewhat shy author of the tour told us in great detail and interestingly about his work and the process of recreating the cathedral. His explanations revealed many details of the fate of the cathedral. We were told about prospects and losses. We visited his studio, where we were able to look at the works still in the process of creation. The excursion lasted a little over an hour. Cost 500 rubles. Next we were waiting for the author’s project by Evgeny Avramenko “Organ. Initiation". Evgeniy is the cathedral organist and a very distinguished musician, and at the same time a very lively and spontaneous person who easily finds a common language with his listeners. His story was understandable and interesting even to a person as far from music as me. We looked into the belly of a large organ and tried to play the organ. I highly recommend both of these excursions.

(Translated by Google) The fact that there is a Kant museum is wonderful, but there is almost nothing to see and it could be cheaper to show the modest life of an outstanding person.

I'm astonished that the current Russian government allows this museum to be open and I hope that a mis-targeted Russian missile won't fall there it in the future. Immanuel Kant was a German philosopher, regarded as a central figure in the Enlightenment movement and one of the most important philosophers in history. Kant advocated for a republican form of government based on the principles of freedom, equality, and the rule of law. Kant emphasized the importance of a constitutional republic, where governmental power is separated and balanced among different branches. He argued that this system would prevent the concentration of power and provide checks and balances to safeguard against abuses. Moreover, Kant proposed the idea of "cosmopolitan right" in his work on perpetual peace. He suggested that nations should enter into a federation of states to establish lasting peace and prevent conflicts. Kant envisioned a world governed by a set of universal principles and international laws that would regulate relations between nations and ensure the protection of individual rights. There are very strong connections between Kant's ideas and the values promoted by the European Union. Kant's emphasis on peace, cooperation, the rule of law, human rights, freedom, equality, and democracy align with many of the foundational principles that underpin the EU.

The museum is undergoing renovations. Overall a good exhibition. It’s good that the museum exists at all and they are trying to fill it. I hope at least one book from the original library will be transferred here. The exposure will take about 30 minutes.

Touch Kant's life but few exhibitions There are several real rooms that Kant used in that time. So if you know Kant, you would definitely be moved, however, to be honest, the number of exhibitions is few. Of course these exhibitions are precious, but don't expect a lot of things. There are also exhibitions about the history of Kaliningrad too. So you can enjoy yourself in this museum with double meanings. The tomb of Kant is located outside.

Interesting . But too dangerouse stairs inside, people with little problem would not be able to climb up.

It’s good that such museums exist at all. You can talk as much as you like about the authenticity and value of the exhibitions, but the presented material invites people who are truly interested in history to try to find out even more - on their own.
