Expensive
boutique
hotel,
but
very
pretty,
comfortable
and
relaxing!
Advantages:
-
Magnificent
setting.
The
rooms
are
very
comfortable
and
tastefully
furnished
and
decorated.
The
small
pool
and
garden
(a
haven
for
birds
of
all
kinds!)
are
very
pleasant,
beautiful
and
relaxing.
-
The
breakfast
is
copious
and
delicious.
On
Saturdays
and
Sundays,
the
buffet
offers
an
even
wider
choice
than
the
weekday
menu.
-
The
spa
services
are
great,
both
the
massages
and
the
scrubs.
Barbara
and
Mackenzie
are
wonderful
masseuses.
-
The
cosmetics
available
in
the
bathrooms
and
those
used
in
the
spa
are
of
good
quality,
quite
natural
and
they
smell
lovely.
-
With
the
exception
of
the
staff
on
duty
at
the
front
desk
on
the
night
we
arrived,
all
the
hotel
and
restaurant
staff
were
very
polite,
friendly
and
helpful.
-
As
for
the
restaurant
"Le
ChΓ’teau",
it
is
divine:
both
the
dishes
we
ate
there
and
the
setting
and
service.
Disadvantages:
-
The
internet
connection
fluctuates,
in
"La
PΓ’tisserie"
(where
breakfast
is
served),
by
the
swimming
pool
and
in
the
rooms.
-
There
are
no
bars
to
hang
wet
towels
in
the
bathroom.
-
Although
we
had
requested
an
upstairs
room
via
Booking,
we
were
allocated
a
ground
floor
room
the
night
we
arrived.
