I stayed at Hotel Mestil for six weeks while I was working in Kampala and had a wonderful experience. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, as well as the property, but the part I loved most was the staff. They were friendly, accommodating, and always went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Brenda is the best! I also got one of the best massages of my life from Elizabeth at the spa. LOVE this place. Will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Kampala!

Top-tier hotelin Kampala strategically located on Nsambya hill with a clear and the best view of the city. Their customer care is great, clean environment, good food (orders take approximately 30-40 minutes to get ready) clean toilets, and secure ample parking space. Suitable, for business meetings, parties, gate aways, dinner dates, and conferences among others!

Look good from far but far from good, paid 93,000 for what can only be describe as prison food, and they had two attempts, I felt sorry for the lady waiting on us so just gave up.. paid the bill and left... Talked to the chief, he clearly had no skills with meat... I will never go back to this place again.

It was such a lovely experience. We spent the new year's eve and day there. The food and service was awesome. The rooms are extremely clean, with beautiful showers and comfortable beds. We were a group of 13 and the only complaint was the door bells not working in some rooms. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Please keep it up.

This is a nice place with poor hospitality, I give it two start only because apart from the m good food and nice buildings plus a better location. These people put the lift (elevator) off we therefore had to move up the stairs. The made us wait for a very long time before we moved in to our booked space

Méstil is one of the best if not the best hotel in Kampala. The experience is well thought out. The services and amenities are great. The rooms are well furnished, functional and very comfortable. The staff members are engaging, professional and understand the value of great customer services. Their dishes are well prepared and on time. The breakfast selection is well above expectations especially the pastries that are fresh, moist and we'll presented. The executive rooms are fitted with a cooking station, microwave , fridge and hot water kettle in case one would like to make their own meals. The office desk is great for anyone seeking a remote office experience. The gardens and amenities are well preserved and taken care of. The hotel is located in a prime and secure area in Kampala. There's 24h security at the hotel. I highly recommend a long or short term stay at the hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel. Staff are friendly, the rooms are beautifully designed, clean, neat and tidy. There is a pool, spa, steam room and sauna. The restaurants breakfast and dinner buffets are the best. There is some noise every now and then, but the amazing service makes up for that. I will definitely recommend this hotel to those who want an amazing experience while in Uganda.

I’m from SA and i chose to stay at Mestil for my visit to Uganda. Very elegant hotel. Staff is friendly. Housekeeping is up to date. There is a gym, sonaar, pool and spa. The jumping caste is put up every weekend and that’s just a wonderful add for the kids to play. I cannot fault anything about it. The food is amazing. The kitchen is 24hours🤭🫢. Enjoyed my stay and will definitely visit again.

Your ultimate place to watch the world cup, spend a night, have a coffee or a meal at the restaurant, the sophistication in the architecture makes it more a tour wowed at every view and the staff. People! The staff is totally helpful to the dot and personally I loved that receptionist that allowed me access the facilities I needed with guidance. The pool prices are affordable too but be sure of value for money for everything you experience, Mestil is that place satisfactory service meets you right when you walk in.

Beautiful, Serene and great for a quiet hang out. The pool area (both adult & kids pools) too offers a relaxing atmosphere, not crowded and lifeguard is vigilant. The staff have good customer care. Misplaced my phone and they got it promptly. The food was good too..had pork chops with assorted vegetables and potato wedges.

Our stay at Mestil was fantastic! The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are huge, the pool and spa are great, and the food in the restaurant is delicious. It’s centrally located a short Uber from anywhere (even in horrible Kampala traffic), and it’s very safe and secure. The best part is the staff: they are always smiling and extremely helpful! I’d highly recommend Mestil to anyone visiting Kampala.

I've only dined here with family about a year ago, so I can't talk about the rooms. We've ordered about 8 different dishes and they were all horrible. Especially the sirloin steak, it's a scam. I don't think it's even meat, it was so disgusting that I remembered to give it a bad review after more than a year

It's a beautiful hotel with both interior and exterior design with Enough security, they prepare delicious intercontinental and home meals. As you're entering there you're subjected to a number of security checkups. Very hospitable I really recommend it

Enjoying my buffet at this grand hotel. Sleeping is not necessarily resting in some places. But incase you decide to book accommodation here, you will have restful sleep.

This is a relatively beautiful hotel. Was there with family and friends for a brunch. The food though not diverse was well done and well presented. Tasty even. Unfortunately the bbq smoke was blowing into the dining area. Many patrons didnt seem bothered by it. Maybe because it was worth it. My main issue was the service. The waiting staff were both slow and largely lacking in observable organisation and the all important foresight. I would go back, but probably on invitation not of my own volition.

Staff are so helpful. If you are celebrating a birthday, the front dest events coordinator Claire made me feel very special and she help to arrange our excusions to the equator and the Source of the Nile. The servers in the restaurant are very polite and pleasant. Also the cleaning staff was great.

  • 5/5 Bravo S. 4 months ago on Google
It’s a beautiful hotel , great service but the location is a bit Challenge. Accessibility is through heavy traffic and due to road construction around it, it makes you hate accessing the hotel. But once you get into the hotel, you forget the stress you went through accessing it.

Meetup is a beautiful hotel just outside Kampala city. It has scenic views of Kampala city that you can enjoy especially when in the beautiful gardens. The venue is very good for weddings, whether indoors or in the gardens. There is ample parking that can accommodate attendees for several concurrent functions. To access the hotel, you have to contend with the thick traffic on Entebbe road, else use Jinja road junction. They have lovely comfortable suites of various capacities and pricing. I recommend this hotel for those who can afford to spend on the items.

  • 5/5 Malcolm Mark O. 6 months ago on Google
Mestil Hotel exceeded all expectations with its superb rooms, deserving a solid 5-star rating. The only hiccup was navigating the ongoing road constructions on the way to the hotel, which made finding the entrance a bit tricky. However, once inside, the culinary delights were nothing short of spectacular. I indulged in a sumptuous 3-course meal that left me so content I could barely move. There's so much more to share about this extraordinary experience, but I'll leave you with this tantalizing taste. Come and experience Mestil Hotel for yourself—it's a journey worth taking! ⭐🍽️✨

Was there for a party. The place is nice, with a wonderful view of the city, and the parking was convenient. Downside, the washrooms had no soap, and asking one of the employees around expressed frustration at management for not responding to their request for soap. I took the better part of 30 minutes engaging and standing my ground for soap to be brought to the washrooms.

Méstil hotel is the best place to stay with his five stars room, 4 stars services and 4 stars location, I wish with the best accomodations méstil has, it wasn't supposed to be at that location and for the beauty and architecture the service seems little annoying for those who stay long and know how 5 stars hotels works

  • 5/5 Januez J. 1 year ago on Google

Mestil is great for foreigners who are in town for a conference or workshop. It's also a great ambiance for dinners and parties. Quite frankly, for the price, one can do better... Especially with the local food... They do have a variety of foreign foods like sea food which ain't bad.

  • 3/5 Mariam K. 2 years ago on Google
I was here for a 5 day Residential workshop. Beautiful buildings, beautiful rooms, but the customer care is really lacking. The rooms only get cleaned when you request for it, they don't draw the curtains in the evening. The waitresses are not friendly at all. Only Nassif and Mr. Lugwe made our restaurant experience worth it. The only receptionist with care was Anne, the rest were very arrogant. The staff need serious training in customer care and hospitality

I've been a loyal customer for Mestil's Weekly Brunch. And I love it every time. The customer service and professionalism are a 10/10. Although it's pricey it's worth it. I have had a chance to spend a night in their rooms though but I would love to.

The food is overpriced. It's completely not worthy. I had a sirlion steak and it was too chewy that my jaw ached. People said the food was good a few months ago.

Close to town and a number of embassies including US Embassy. It's kinda odd to find but worth the tour. You'll discover its quite quiet and accessible. I went with two guests and sampled several eats ... Yum yum. Great staff and great service ... You will not be let down. Enjoy!

Customer care especially at the entrance gate is lacking, there are more concerned about the mask than the guest. Yet you can't eat with a mask on. It is well clear that the mask in restaurant is useless as it will be removed.

Cool place to visit Been here a couple of times. I love the here mostly because of the food options they have. On my last visit we waited for a long time to be seated...which is understandable as they are always busy The bar is centered on the first floor so extremely crowded and noisy. The staff were very nice and pleasant. We ordered food which came pretty quickly. Had a burger with fries.. Parking is hussle but my overall experience was very 👍🏿
