I would stay away from this restaurant not to ruin the day. When the bowl was served, we realised that the salmon roe was quite old and squashed comepare to any other roe that we've seen. The worst part was tuna sashimi. We were literally not able to bite the tuna sashimi pieces. Couldn't help but explained the staffs that the tuna is so hard so we cannot even bite, demonstrating biting the stone hard tuna (as there was language barrier). They were talking in Japanese and all staffs were laughing out loud by themselves. They eventually brought back our bowl and cut the tuna sashimi into smaller pieces. Ofcourse we were already turned off and didn't finish the finely-chopped worst quality tuna. The supermarket in Kanazawa train station serves much better quality sashimi and salmon roe with reasonable price.

Small local kaiten-sushi restaurant, managed in traditional style (will need to either order through the staff available, or order over the counter.) It was a bit pricey, but foods were fresh and very delicious. Services was good and efficient.

Good restaurant. In some days, you need to wait in line to enter the restaurant. And it's worth when you have a great bowl of fresh sashimi rice.

Food was good, nothing too special. We got some takeout as you can't bring small children here. Wait was not too long.

Visit this morning for breakfast, I was seated at the sushi bar and was the only one in the store. I ordered Zeitaku don and it’s was so awful, every single piece of fish was old and the cut look so disgusting. I feel so baffled and keep thinking maybe because I’m foreigner so they can fooled me with that. The very first meal in Japan but it left me with a bad taste. Don’t get me wrong I used to work at sushi restaurant in Canada so I have a certain expectation.

It's not just about the fresh raw seafood - it's the fish soup that comes with most orders. Fish bones, scraps, shrimp heads make it rich delicious. I had 3 bowls 😁

We had various kinds of sushi, all very very fresh and mouthwatering tasty. The staff were very polite and helpful, and there was an english menu. Our waiter spoke fluently english. We spend about 15 dollar per person and were completely full. The next morning we wanted to some sushi for takeaway to eat in the Shinkansen. We found a large line of people waiting, but we were allowed to pass the line and set our order while waiting inside. The food was packed perfectly in cooling bag with ice packs and with chopsticks, soysauce, etc. The service is wonderful, and so is the price. Many thanks!

Sushi was average for Japan's standard, typical tourist haunt. Service was good though and staff are able to communicate in basic English.

Great place to eat sushi and sashimi. I would call it a must of Kanazawa. Price ok, spaces small but cozy, food is delicious and fresh.

Super fresh sushi, reasonable pricing and generous portions. Second visit this year and i wasn’t disappointed. Would come back again.

Really good sushi. It might not be the sanitised Michelin-star experience some people are after, but for those of us looking for the authentic meal where locals eat, this is as close as it gets. Well worth a try!

Always when I come to Kanazawa this is my breakfast place, nodoguro grill or soup are amazing and the places in not so expensive. Get ready to lineup for a while

👍👍 I am updating my review even though my visit was almost 2 years ago. And even with so much time passed, I remember my visit vividly as if it were yesterday. This place has some of the best if not the best adequately priced sushi you will ever have in the area or in Japan as a whole. You get the opti...

👍👍 I don't speak Japanese so this comes from a foreigner. This place is full of energy and cheerfulness, even at end of day every one had the energy to create a pleasant atmosphere. 👍👍 Came at around 740 on a Friday night and there was no queue. I was quickly seated and ordered the miso with squid ink ramen, with egg. This came up to 1090 which is super good value. I had nothing like this, and it was so refreshingly good. My taste buds has never experienced such a amazing depth o...
