During the summer every morning at six thiry five women swim until eight o'clock from Ardıç before everyone wake up to sun rise. They turned into mermaids and all the dreams of blue freedom come true at Ardıç shores.

It's a village with mostly a summer houses, empty out of season. Without a car staying here is problematic as only 2 little shops here. The nearest bigger shops like Migros or SOK are over 2km in Mordogan. If you want some fancy restaurants or shopping, you would have to go around 45 m drive to Urla. Easy bus connection to most places around. In regards to the nature it is beautiful not big beach with trees and some cliffs. Beautiful scenery. And Les crowded then other places. The only problem not only here but most of the beaches I had seen is pollution. Tones of plastic bottles, bags and all sorts of rubbish that people just throw into the sea... Sad.

A broad sandy beach with rolling waves, great for older kids who like to play in the surf, but usually too rough and windy for smaller children.

The place is not as tidy and clean as you may expect especially when it comes to lavatories which are disasters. There are not enough changing rooms. Only two for that much of people! The restaurant is a moderate one and you have to pay more than normal city prices. For example, beer is twice the price when compared to Izmir. After all it's a free beach managed by the Municipality and you cannot expect very much. BTW, there are small fishes in the sea that bite! The bites are little but may surprise you :-)
