Watched Dr. Strange in the Silver Room today. The theatre was so warm that my siblings and I had to buy cold drinks to cool ourselves off. Very noisy too; I could hear people chatting/laughing. The speakers weren't loud enough. Moreover, the theatre has only one aisle, which means you have to wiggle your way past your row-mates apologetically every time. I'd rather watch a film in some other theatre (Nueplex) the next time as the ticket price is the same.

The cinema experience was nice but the snacks? 1200 for nachos combo, 1100 if you buy separately!!! Learnt this the hard way. Extremely expensive movie snacks, check price before ordering anything. Whenever you feel like you’re doing good in life, Cinepax movie snack prices will push you down again to middle class

Cinepax Cinemas, is currently running 13 cinemas with 30 screens in 9 cities across Pakistan. In Karachi, Cinepax cinema is in Ocean Mall. There are Silver, Gold and Platinum screens where people can enjoy world class 2D and 3D movies both Urdu and in English. The embiance is so cozy and you will definitely enjoy movies with your family and friends while having pop corn tubs😊😊

Visited for the first time since before covid. Comfortable seating as always. Decent rates. Good selection of snacks available. Always a comfortable and enjoyable experience. And since the place is not always fully packed it's also peaceful and not noise and filled with distractions during the movie.

-Cooling systems/HVAC is bad. -Only one entrance to rows of seats -Paid for and booked to watch Dr Strange in 3D. When we showed up here, they only had 2D running. Very disappointed. Would rather go for Nueplex from now on.

First time: Overall experience was very good. Seats are comfy. Screen has Good Quality picture. They should improve their sound. You will feel bit loud if you sit in starting 3 rows. Their should be staff to guide new people to their screen.

Much better than any of the Nueplex branches in Karachi as well as Atrium cinemas. The screen is way better than the rest. The sound seemed a bit tiny to me in some cases, but still again much better than others in Karachi. I make my case for Cinepax Ocean being the best cinema but comfortable seating especially in Gold. Just be careful with your feet while coming to the fourth floor. Also, try to find a seat towards the back in the gold cinema, like middle seats in the third/fourth last rows would make the viewing experience much better.

I was trying to get tickets for today's showtimes. Their phone lines were down however they were responsive on messenger on their Facebook which was helpful. Apart from that their service was exceptional I had forgotten my wallet at the counter and I wasn't even aware until they mentioned it and brought it back to me. They also have a prayer area separately which was very helpful as I didn't have to run down to the 2nd floor to pray. The seats reclined and were very comfortable. The nachos were delicious and so were the popcorn. I definitely recommend this place.

Pleasee please dont go there and waste your money watching spiderman. It was all dark there. We couldn't even watch anything properly. Please choose others cinemas. And if you do end up chooing this one please consider the 2d version of the movie. Their system and screen is pathetic

Always a good experience watching a movie at Cinepax Ocean Mall, Karachi. Their Gold cinema is comfortable & “Clean” with recliners. Only problem are the people talking & laughing loudly during showtime 😒

Never book online tickets from them because you're just wasting your money incase of any mishap. They don't reply to email and their telephone service is pathetic, they just respond via Facebook chat and the representatives there are senseless and have no respect for their own words. .

It's a very famous cinema theatre located in the Clifton area. Wide area with different facilities of a traditional theatre. Parking is no issue, foods are available as well. Watching movies here is always a good experience for everyone. Pricing is standard according to overall prices in Karachi.

Students offer only valid in morning and mid day show , not in evening. To much noisy, people again and again disturbing you . 650rs Silver class ticket with 200rs 3D glasses seperatly you have to purchase.

I felt frustrated throughout the movie session last Saturday. Screen quality is pathetic especially for 3D films. Brightness was so low that when we wore glasses, we hardly could see anything on the screens and the 3D quality was so low that apparently it seemed it wasn't even meant to be a 3D screen rather than a 2D. Management should also work on managing the audience as there was a constant disturbance throughout the screentime; pictures were being taken with flash and constant passage of audience inside out the cinema hall.

Gold cinema is average. It's mostly pretty cold so it's suggested that you keep a shawl with you. I didn't ask anyone to provide one to me so I don't know if they have this facility. Preferred seats wouldn't be the last ones as the screen is not as big. The tickets can be booked online which is a good facility.

Wonderful experience. The cash counter was difficult to find management should reconsider its placement or mark way to that. Overall gentry was good. We enjoyed the show.

We recently visited to watch Oppenheimer and it was a great experience. I recommend to book gold class seats which are comfortable and comes with bed convertible option as you can see in my uploaded picture. Sound system and the quality of projecting was good. In many scenarios its better than many cinemas in Karachi. In conclusion, you should visit cinepax cinema for a joyful experience.

My recent visit to the cinema for 'Mission Impossible' left me a bit disappointed. The movie didn't quite meet my expectations, and the frequent door disturbances were distracting.

Cinema with its own class specially platinum cinema's experience is outstanding for movie lovers who prefer excellence in sound and comfort.

I booked back seats from online but they delivered ticket of front seat as their website has some malfunction in seat selection. Wrost experience ever even I paid for platinum category.

It was my first time for cinepax oceanmall. Before this, I used to go to nueplex johar, nueplex dha and atrium cinemas. The only thing that was an issue was the intermission time. It was written that we had 10 minutes but they started it early without informing us. So we missed 6 to 8 minutes. Moreover the sound quality was not that great compared to nueplex.

Mission Impossible was as usual fantastic, however the cinema experience was pathetic. The movie started 15 mins late and then after 45 mins had passed, there was total blackout for 10 - 12 mins. Finally when that was resolved, they gave the interval after 20 mins. Cinepax needs to sort out this abrupt halts as it ruins the whole movie experience.

The silver theater not properly d odorise the smell of hall and seats gives awfully smell and seats itching my back and butts like summer itching when walk under sun. The movie is good with sound quality the seat vibrations against is quite good to feel the scenes. I was sitting A-1 almost in the middle.

May have had potential food poisoning from the ice that was used in soda fountain. Movie experience was decent. Small theater, recliner were a surprise.

Cinepax is the preferred go-to cinema because it offers better value for money. I really appreciate how comfortable the seating is. The cinemas aren't huge and have less people, and because of that I've yet to experience being annoyed at the other customers watching a movie. The nachos aren't amazing, but they aren't over priced like at other cinemas in Karachi. They also offer more variety of food like fries nad burgers. The only drawback is that the elevator at oceanmall is a bit slow/always occupied. However, I appreciate the location too as the nueplex area gives me the creeps at night. So this cinema has become my preferred cinema hall in Karachi.

Lovely collection of cinemas of all types i.e. regular, 2D, 3D. It also has different classes like silver, gold and platinum for different customer experience of seats and location. I love this cinema located in Ocean mall on the 4th floor.

One of the best Cinema in Pakistan. Cinepax is the name which brought revolution in Cinema Halls of Pakistan. Before Cinepax, Cinema Hall meant to be Capri, Prince and Bambino in our minds. We never expected such ultra luxurious cinema halls in pakistan.

When I did venture to watch a movie at the cinepax a month or two ago, the ticket issuer warned me that i would be the only one there. Not realizing the enormity of my paranoia I went in like a champ and realized .... I was the only one there. Waiting for the show to begin, in a small dark seat surrounded in the dark by aisles of vacant seats, all reminding me of my vulnerability from unseen supernatural entities. Thanks to the years of half watching horrors through covered eyes and letting my mind imagine the rest. Anyways since I was the only one there I moved closer to the exit and sat down to enjoy the movie depending entirely on adrenaline to get me through should I get attacked by zombies. No one complained. The movie was love, hobbs and shaw, my burger was okay and there were later more entrants luckily for me. Better late than never. Good experience, I'd go alone again. It was a lovely experience. Sadly though one of my kids at bounce got visibly sick and the staff were kind enough to let her come find me.... 30 mins away from the end. I would have pleaded for the 30 mins but luckily didn't and she threw up a few seconds after we got out of the theatre. The staff cleant it immediately. Thank you cineplax. Sorry about the barf. It was a review. This is. 💞 You made a movie buff happy. Well technically it was both the men on screen but you see what I mean. :)

A clean, beautiful and ambiance heavy cinemas within ocean mall at do talwar (two swords) clifton karachi. Seats are way comfortable, on seat serving of snacks and clean washrooms are the hallmark. Overall good experience

Went with family to watch a 3D movie. Experience watching the movie & food service was really nice. However, food quality was not upto mark. Also wish to point out that some guys were smoking inside men's washroom and although the smoke was suffocating, the smoke alarm in the washroom & corridor didn't operate. That was really concerning, considering fires in buildings recently. Hope management takes note.

Worst customer service ever!!! Never book tickets from their website as they will deliberately show you options from other cities and if you mistakenly book them, your money is gone. Plus, they have the worst customer service as there is no way to get in touch with them on phone or email.

The cinema is great but the staff working for the cinema need to be properly trained, as the lady at the ticket counter did not even ask me if I had 3D glasses or not. For instance there was a couple who were sitting near me watching a 3D movie without a 3D glass & the guy inquired from me if he had to purchase it or does the cinema provide it free of cost.

This was an amazing cinema, good service, clean environment friendly staff.
