A fantastic tour, amazing nature and a perfect team that did always the best for us during the trek. I could enjoy the trek so carefree because the A1 team organized everything very professionally and was very helpful, thoughtful and friendly at all times. A real lifetime experience.

I had a good time traveling with A1 Excursion Adventure. It was a hassle free and relaxing experience. The hotel stay was good with an amazing view from the window. The hotels were clean and neat. Staff was helpful, friendly and punctual.Pick-up was on time. If you are a nature lover, then you should definitely try the Jungle safari and bird watching at Chitwan, and boating at Fewa lake, Pokhara. You can rent a boat for a few hours. A1 excursion adventure assistes us in booking the helicopter ride. You have to pay separately if it's not mentioned in your tour package. Helicopter ride heavily depends on weather conditions. If you like explore the city, then you can simply walk the streets of Thamel and experience rich history and culture or visit Bhaktapur and Patan. Some activities can be clubbed together in a single day, to save time. We booked a custom tour, but you can book a tailor-made itinerary to suit your needs. Overall a good satisfying experience.

I was on ABC March 2022 with A1. It was an amazing time and Raj Kumar Thapa and his team did a great job. Much more than I would have expected. We saw such a lot of phantastic nature, were looked after 24/7 and every wish came true. It startet with support buying the equipment and I felt never alone with questions. Strong buy!!! 9 of us from the Philly Adventure Group came to Nepal for the Mardi Himal trek but it ended up being much more than just a trek. On our first full day in Katmandu, Raj had organized a terrific guide who took us to various temples and gave us a good overview of the Buddhist and Hindu customs and the religions. The guide also took us to a great place to lunch and to a nice singing bowl shop. At night we had a nice traditional meal and saw a cultural Nepali dance show. The next day we flew to Pokhara from where we started the trek. During the trek we met all kinds of interesting people and saw many diverse vegetations, woods, and rice paddies. We had so many brilliant views of valleys, great mountains, sun rises and sun sets. Raj came along the trek and made sure all our needs were met. Gokarna was our guide. He is a great person who was a pleasure to have met and to guide us along. The 5 porters Raj had hired were also very nice people. Having the 5 porters, Gokarna, and Raj enabled our group to split up during the day. We ended up most days with 3 groups who could walk at their own speed. During the trek we stayed in Guesthouses that were OK, but which became more basic as we got higher. It was therefore a pleasant surprise when Raj got a nice place to stay in during the descent. The home stay he organized was also a cultural event that had a big impact on many of us. The hotels Raj booked for us in Katmandu and Pokhara were decent. They were not 5 stars but served its purpose and were located in areas with great activity and plenty of nighttime options. I was amazed who crowded it is in Katmandu after midnight. Already have asked Raj to organize another adventure for 2025! Can't wait to go back to Nepal!

My boyfriend and I booked a trekking tour with A1 Excursion Adventure Tours & Travel. We went to the Mardi Himal View point (4250m) and it was a beautiful Trek. The Tour was 7 days long, we stayed at Tea houses, as well as homestays with lovely and kind people. Our Guide Gokarna was really kind and did a great job. He always made sure that we're doing good and he taught us lots of interesting things about the Nepali culture and their life in the mountains. Before we started our Trek the owner Raj Kumar Thapa made sure we get all the information we need and more. I would definitely book another tour with A1 Excursion Adventure Tours & Travel.

I did my 10th trekking tour with A1 Excursion now, and every time it was a great experience! The team is so friendly and helpful, they organise everything very quick and with great care. And even when some girls in the group got sick this time and we had to take changes during the trekking, our guide and the A1 Team always found a good solution. I really enjoy trekking with A1, I will come back soon :)

Incredible trekking experience made possible by A1 Excursions! The owner, Raj, did accompany us on this trek and he is fantastic! Everything was taken care of. All the tea houses, porters, restaurants, hotels, transport, and tours. He planned the route, ensured we were acclimating to the elevation (no one in our group of nine got altitude sickness), and made the entire experience incredible. Now, this is what you'd expect from a tour operator, but Raj went well above and beyond. A few examples below. We started with a larger group (and thus pricing was discounted). Several members of original group cancelled, and he refunded their money. Moreover, he did not come back and adjust our pricing even though we were smaller group. A few of our group adjusted their arrival and departure times due to personal reasons or for wanting to undertake additional excursions while in Nepal. Raj didn't hesitate to make additional calls to facilitate their changes or make multiple trips to/ from airport to accommodate their personalized plans. The itinerary was very specific in stating what was included and excluded from the price. A few of our group members made some addition requests for food, lodging, and added porter services that were clearly added scope to the trip. Raj took care of every add on request. No hesitation whatsoever. In short, this trip was a once in a lifetime experience for me, and most likely for you, too. I would travel with Raj again in a second and would highly recommend him to my closest friends!

Wonderful trip! Raj was very accommodating and willing to add extra excursions to the trip very quickly and was very responsive. The housing arrangements were very comfortable and well thought out, as each location had great views, friendly staff, and comfortable sleeping arrangements. The porters were very helpful and always willing to carry our bags or assist with anything we may need. Would definitely book with A1 Excursion again.

This was the second tour I had done with A1excursion. The owner Raj made us a very good and individual offer. He explained everything to us very well before the trek. We were traveling with Gokarna (guide). He told us a lot about the culture and life in Nepal on the trek. He took very good care of us and we had a lot of fun with him. I can highly recommend A1excursio.

Certainly one of the best trips of my life so far. I will never forget my weeks in Nepal. It was a blast and this was made possible by Raj and his team at A1 excursion. Everybody in the company, from boss to porters, are very kind hearted and friendly people that would do everything to make you have a perfect experience. There’s some things nobody can control, like the weather, but I have always felt well cared for anyways. The group cheered us up, when we were down and in the end I feel like we transitioned from a bunch of strangers, to a bunch of friends. A1 is well known and Raj seems to be a legend in Nepal anyways 🧐 so go with them and other people will treat you well.

We booked Annapurna Circuit trip via Raj and his team and had a great experience with Dilip our guide and Krisna our porter. According to own wishes we changed plans to stay longer in Manang which A1 organised smoothly. The communication was always friendly and professional. We also prolonged the trip with a flight and pickup in Lumbini, which all worked out well. We felt “in good hands” the whole time. Definitely a recommendation m, especially if you are a beginner in trekking or first time in Nepal.

I would highly recommend A1 excursions for any trip in Nepal. Going into Nepal, I was absolutely clueless as I don't speak Nepali and I had no contacts there whatsoever. A1 excursions was recommended to me by an American friend. The service that was provided to me and my friends was truly, well, A1. Mr. Raj Thapa of A1 was very friendly and professional. He was a great host and even picked us up from the airport. He took time to answer all our questions patiently and was quick to respond during all times. He made our trip worry free. We did the Mardi Himal Trek as well as local sightseeing of Kathmandu and exploring pokhara. All our hotels were great and well priced. Our guides and porters on the Trek were exceptional. Our guide on this particular trip, Gokarna needs a special mention. Gokarna seemed very knowledgeable about the Annapurna region and the Himalayas in general. He speaks fluent English. He was always quick to answer our questions. He even took great pictures of us ☺️ which is a bonus. He made sure that we stayed on course with our itinerary. I thoroughly enjoyed trekking with Gokarna and we would leave everyone else behind with our pace. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with A1 excursions and would highly recommend them for any Nepal trips.

The organisation of the Himal Mardi Trek was perfect. Our guides of the trek and the porters were awsome. The lodges and the food were good. The guide in Kathmandu have a great knowledge. He showed us the interesting culture of Nepal.

All around great, highly recommend. A1 is very reliable and professional throughout, while ensuing a decent level of quality and wellbeing in accommodations. Will trek with them again!

ABC Trek ! You want to experience something you have never experienced before? With Raj Kumar and his team A1 you are exactly right on the Anapura Circuit Trek. They are always there for you but you don't see them (those in the know know what I mean). The track is a pure pleasure down to the last detail because you can concentrate on yourself, everything is organised. The track itself needs no further description but Raj Kumar and his team make the trip a real experience. I can only say 5+ from the planning to the helicopter service...more is not possible!
