This is calm and quiet place in the busy Thamel area. Room was good. Mattress could have been improved. Breakfast is complimentary and good. No lift.

While the location of this hotel is very convenient and the staff aims to please, the truth is that this place is quite run down. In 4 nights, the shower reached warm only once; for the rest it was cold. The lights in our room were mostly burnt out, the bathroom needed significant upgrades and the place wasn’t the cleanest. I had to find housekeeping staff to ask for basics: Toilet paper, hangers, clean towels, etc. The breakfast was okay but items such as scrambled eggs were cold because the serving dish wasn’t properly heated. The price for this hotel was certainly on the low end, but as we discovered, you get what you pay for. I would call this hotel less than basic.

It looks so beautiful and Classic. It has well managed caffe and Bar inside hotel Premises. I went there for meeting and I enjoyed my time there.

Very unprofessional in management. We prebooked our rooms, but after arrival they shifted us to another hotel by the excuse that the rooms are still occupied. The receptionist and the manager had no apology and did not manage rooms and weren't even informed in the shifted hotels. Moreover during check-out, they made complexities in providing printed bills.

A surprise beautiful place within the city. Calm and very well maintained. The most remarkable of all is the people here. The service is absolutely amazing. Specially Bijay Khadka is the person to ask for anything you need. Everyone is great but he helped me for everything. I will recommend to consider this Eco Resort for your Kathmandu trip. It being in Thamel and close to the tourist happening place I am sure you will love it.

Probably the best place to stay in thamel, with almost all the tourists spots at a walking distance. The staff is very welcoming, rooms very cozy, and an overall warm ambiance. Not only was the staff highly co operative but helped us organising the whole trip in nepal. Be it the arrangement of taxis or planning the route map for the trip, the aided us utterly. Also to mention the mesmerising decor this hotel is embellished with, along with a fine dine restaurant that serves quality meals to satiate your taste buds. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone as it caters all the needs.

The resort is in a perfect location for tourists to see the center af Thamel. The service and staff are very friendly and helpful. Please don't expect European standards. You are traveling to another country and it's good to have those experiences. The rooms are average size. The room service could be better. The room will only be made by request. This includes bed, towels, toilet paper and likewise. The mattress is one of the worst I have slept in. Any spring you can feel on your spine. Sorry but that would need to be changed immediately.

bed with the spring coming out of the materass, all windows shut with nails, big roof leaking half of my clothes wet, and all the electrik sockets were all broken......not the best for 35 dollar and with top top review on google and bookings (that s why we choose it)

A spectacular place to visit in Kathmandu, Thamel Eco Resort is a very beautiful place to spend your vacation with your family and friends. This is just 6 km from Tribhuvan Intl airport. It has very clean, spacious and comfortable rooms maintained with hygiene. The food Menu is enormous with a variety of foods including breakfast buffet .
