I did my first trekking In Nepal, Everest Base Camp Trek with Up To Himalaya, recommended to me by a friend, and I am so glad I decided to go with them. I made great memories that I will have the rest of my life. Sudeep took excellent care of me. He answered all my questions before my trip to make me very comfortable with my decision to go with them instead of the many other trekking companies. My guide Saroj was the best. Very friendly and knowledgeable of the trek, mountains, and villages. He was well known along the trail by many of the other guides and porters and locals, as well as Hotel owners where we stayed overnight. He made sure our living quarters throughout the 12 days were the best available. He was extremely patient with us. He knew the exact place we should go to help acclimatize to the altitude. At the end of the trek, he took us to a nice dinner in Kathmandu where we recapped our adventure. I recommend all who are interested in trekking in Nepal to go with them. Just completed the Annapurna Circuit with Up To Himalaya with Dinesh as the guide and Arjun as the porter. I had the most fantastic time. The trek was stunning in the landscape, rewarding in views and overall enriching experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the interactions with local people, which Dinesh and Arjun facilitated. The happiness and warmth they portray are admirable and hugely infectious. Both Dinesh and Arjun were knowledgeable and never grew tired of answering my many questions. I feel I learned so much about the local people and culture, and the country as a whole. Every evening Dinesh joined us after dinner and explained the plan for the next day, giving me a good insight into what was expected. During the day, we took small breaks here and there and shared our snacks. I found both Dinesh and Arjun very kind and caring, taking an interest in my experience and always ensuring I was well and had everything I needed. Everything was done with such care, and gentleness. Booking with locally owned companies also supports the local economy, which is essential for a country that is so dependent on tourism, besides the enriching experience of having a local guide and porter. I look forward to doing my next trek with Dinesh and Arjun.

Highly Recommended for trekking in Nepal

We are a couple from Brazil and did Kanchenjunga circuit trek with Up To Himalaya in September, the to the Kanchenjunga national park in Eastern Nepal. Before beginning the trek, all our questions were answered very fast and without any hassle by Sudeep. During the trek, we felt very secure, and everything was well prepared. The company made all travel arrangements, including special permits, flights, and Jeep drive transportation and the teahouse accommodation along the way with breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. The entire staff was amicable and helpful. Our guide, Nabaraj, knew the area well and provided excellent guidance. We visited both Kanchenjunga north and south base camp. A truly memorable trip! My friend and I did a less than a week short trek to Pikey Peak in the Everest region with this company. Our guide Prakash was an outstanding guy and knew the answer to all the questions I asked about the trek and Nepal. If I ever thought to go back to Nepal again, not only I will use this company, but I would ask for Prakash again as well (even though I am sure all of other other guides are also excellent). It was very nice that we not need to have to worry about arrangements such as transportation, food, lodging, etc. everything was well organized, and we loved it. They showed us the best views I have seen in my life. I was so satisfied with Up To Himalaya trekking company and their service.

I was doing Annapurna Circuit for the first time in my life, and I was a bit scary because at the time I wanted to start, it was offseason for trekking in Nepal. I decided to do this trek with a guide Saroj "Up To Himalaya“ because of a recommendation I received from my friend Toe. I was pleased by the way the agency handled this, and moreover, I had an excellent guide Saroj, who was knowledgeable and did everything to accommodate me and because of his open-mindedness and friendly behavior, we had much fun during the trek and also with other travelers we met during the trek. It was my first trek in Nepal, and I must say that I am awed by the beauty of the majestic mountains of the Nepal Himalayas. We did a six days Mardi Himal trek, and we were very well taken care of by the guide Nabaraj and the team of 2 porters.
