Did the Everest Base camp trek with these guys. Great experience and guides/Porters were brilliant. A particular shout-out to our fantastic guide Rudra and to our porter Sunuwar! Only warning I'd give is to know the people that pick up your bags at the airport aren't with the company and demand tips. Make sure you carry your bag right to the taxi with guide.

So glad we went with a local Nepalese company. Just finished off the 18 day Annapurna Circuit with Tilicho Lake trekking itinerary. The pace was perfect for us to acclimatize to the altitude without getting sick. We booked a private tour for two people and were well taken care of. Amazing scenery. Friendly, hardworking people. We arrived during the hectic festival season, and were very grateful that we had a local helping us manoeuvre through all the busy-ness. Just come back from Everest Base Camp with our guides Ramesh and Bhumi and had the most fantastic time. Our guides went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable, safe and happy. Everything ran very smoothly during the trek, and we were taken good care of in Kathmandu. Due to bad weather, some of the group were stuck in Lukla. Ramesh and Bhumi made did everything they could to help us and made sure that when the weather cleared we were on the first helicopter out. Thank you to Raj for arranging this helicopter. Thank you for an excellent trip. Will definitely return to do the Annapurna Circuit, and would love to be guided by Ramesh and Bhumi!

I hired Mosaic for my second visit to Nepal, I wanted to attempt the Everest Base Camp Trek. I first heard about Mosaic from a coworker/friend who highly recommended them. My first visit was to Annapurna Base Camp and with another tour agency and did not want to use them again as I did not have the best experience. I began communicating with Mosaic a few months before my visit. I had lots of questions about the hike, transportation, accommodation, visas and recommended gear. Madhav, one of the company’s business partners, was always swift to reply. He made me very feel very comfortable about my upcoming visit. After arriving, Raj, another business partner, sat with me and went over the itinerary and made sure all my questions and concerns were squared away before my departure. Pralhad is a great trek guide. One thing I really appreciated is that he picked me up from Kathmandu International airport at 3 AM when I arrived, took me to my hotel and met me the next morning. He must have been as tired as I was. Pralhad is very friendly, speaks good English and has a good sense of humor. Before each day of hiking Pralhad would tell me what to expect from the trail, distance to the lunch spot and where we could take breaks for tea. He is very knowledge about this trail. He also knew when to give me space when we took breaks to absorb the amazing views. Pralhad sometimes knew which bakeries offer free mobile charges and free Wi-Fi. This was especially useful when the Wi-Fi and charging at Tea Houses were not working or very expensive. I really enjoyed my experience this time in Nepal and will be hiring Mosaic Adventure for my next visit.

Mosaic Adventure is an outstanding choice for those who follow the calling of the Nepal Himalaya, and value quality, service, and customization at a reasonable price. In fact, we used Mosaic Adventure for our previous two trekking adventures, and selected it again for our recent 14-day Manaslu Circuit trek that contains 2 extra days for side tracks to fully explore and enjoy what this unique epic journey has to offer. The trek is unique in that only Nepal offers a circuit trek, without border crossing, that goes around the world's 2nd highest mountain in a SINGLE country. While the planet has 7 peaks higher than Manaslu, 6 of them sit on the borders between two countries. In a single country, Manaslu is the world's 2nd highest. In comparison to western-based travel agencies who ultimately sub-contract the trekking service to local operators, Mosaic Adventure offers better service, customization, satisfaction and good value. For example, the itinerary was very flexible, allowing us to real-time adjust it as the journey unfolded. Fresh fruits were provided every evening after dinner. And to ensure the teahouse kitchen would cook the dishes the way we wanted, our guide, after a long day of trekking, would get into the kitchen “supervising” the cooking. Another example: When some segments of the trail were washed out by monsoon-trigger landslides, our guide paid extra attention to details in guiding us over alternative pathways over difficult terrains. In summary, we highly recommend Mosaic Adventure to those who prioritize quality, service, customization and value.

We trekked to EBC in mid February with 3 adults and 3 children over 11 days with our amazing guide Purna and 3 Porters. We had exceptional weather with sunshine and blue sky and Purna kept us motivated, entertained and safe throughout. Everything was fully explained to us at a pre-trek meeting in our hotel by both Purna and the company owner Madhav where our questions were answered and our concerns about altitude addressed and allayed. Purna is easy going and we all felt very comfortable, including the kids, an important factor when safety is paramount and especially so at altitude. Overall we had a great experience and would not hesitate to recommend Mosaic and Purna in particular if you want to trek in Nepal.

I recently had the pleasure of trekking to Mardi Himal with Mosaic Adventure. From the very beginning, the staff at the agency were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Mosaic adventure have been amazing from the second we got in contact with them. Really fast responses and very helpful with any questions we had. Our guide Purna was brilliant, so helpful, friendly and really accommodating. Unfortunately we were unable to make it to base camp due to my partner falling ill and then having altitude sickness. However our guide and mosaic adventure sorted everything out: the helicopter rescue, transport to and from the hospital to our hotel and even our airport transfer a few days later! We couldn’t recommend choosing this company enough!

I had a really good time here in Nepal with the Mosaic Adventure. They made all the arrangements for me from the transfer until all the hotels and guest houses that I stayed during my trip. They might be great Tour Agent to arrange trekking but not for historical and cultural tour. No prior information was given that some temples didn’t allow non Hindu to enter! With the price which we paid, they supposed to be able to offer better hotel as it looks completely different than actual.

Their three guides made sure we got up and down with minimal fuss, and the entire trek they were generous, funny, patient, and caring. I had the chance to trek EBC with 6 friends in early Oct 2023. We chose Mosaic Adventure as our tour guide and we had the best experience. During the preparation phase of our trek, Madhav (co-owner) answered all our questions in a very professional way. He continued to support and coordinate the entire trip once we arrived in Nepal. Amazing work! We also had the pleasure to have Purna as our head guide and Prem as his assistant: both did an exceptional job that made our adventure memorable. We did the 14 day EBC trek with a hotel either side in Kathmandu and I couldn’t recommend this structure more! Mosaic were fantastic every step along the way, easy to communicate and organise things with. Our guide Madan was amazing, very attentive and helpful with every request we gave him along the trek, kept a great pace for the group if anyone fell behind and looked after us when the altitude got to us. True hero! We had a total of 4 people in our group, which after seeing some of the other companies on the trail handling 10+ people on a daily basis, I was truly grateful for and felt was the perfect size. Would easily recommend Mosaic to anyone going, local company to Nepal, your money goes to good, honest people and the porters are looked after! Fantastic experience.

Fantastic trekking company!! My partner and I asked for a 7-day trek to Annapurna Base Camp and Mosaic Adventure created a custom detailed itinerary for us. Madhav and Raj the owners were extremely helpful and informative and answered every email within 24 hours. Our guide Rudra was FANTASTIC, experienced for over 25 years, knew the ins and outs of ABC trek. He was able to change and adapt our itinerary on the fly as needed. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and never pushed us to do anything we didn't want to do. Unfortunately, my partner experienced altitude sickness and gastroenteritis at the top and we needed a helicopter evacuation. Rudra and Mosaic organized it extremely well and we were back in Pokhara in little time to the CIWEC health clinic, a fantastic local hospital catered to international travellers. I would highly recommend this company to anyone, and encourage you to ask for Rudra as your guide! Our porter was great too. My partner and I are two doctors from Canada.

I completed the Everest Base Camp trek and Kala Patthar trek in November 2022 thanks to the excellent support from Mosaic. Our two guides Pralhad and Purna from Mosaic made sure it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and the services organised by Mosaic during the trek were of a very high standard. The whole group were made to feel very welcome on arrival into Nepal and we knew we were in really good hands from day one.
