I contacted Mr Dil a couple of weeks back from Malaysia telling him about my crazy idea of bringing my baby along with me and my wife to trek Annapurna Base Camp. Without a single doubt, Mr Dil told me that we can make that happen and planned an itinerary for us. Finally after much planning, my wife and I decided to do the 5 day trek with our baby on the 21st of July 2022 which is also during the monsoon season. With the guidance from Mr Prashan Gurung, my wife and I reached the summit of Annapurna Base Camp on the 23rd of July with our daughter on tow and celebrated her first birthday there !! What an achievement I would say as she is the youngest to summit ABC. Mr Dil from Alpine Ramble Trek was intouch with us and Mr Prashan all throughout our trek making sure we are safe and that everything is going on according to plan. Alpine Ramble Trek is by far the best company in terms of catering your needs and planning the best option for you. They are professional, experienced and are very patient in answering all your doubts making sure you have a pleasant experience. Next in line would be us planning for our EBC trek which we will be doing soon with none other than with Alpine Ramble Trek.

We recently had the privilege of embarking on the Everest Base Camp Trekking adventure with Alpine Ramble and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we signed up for the trip to the final steps back in Lukla, every aspect of the journey was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. Company's CEO Dill was continuously in contact with us from initially when we inquire about this company from google till last day of trek. They provided one Guide & Porter for both of us for entire time of trek. They were very kind & humble. Our guide Ram is gem of a person. He always ensure our safety and comfort throughout the trek. His experienced possessed extensive knowledge of the region, offering insightful commentary on the surrounding landscape, culture, and history. His expertise and friendly demeanor made the journey even more enjoyable and engaging. The itinerary was very well-designed, striking a perfect balance between trekking and acclimatization days. Each day brought new breathtaking vistas, from picturesque valleys to majestic mountain peaks. The sight of Everest's towering presence as we approached the Base Camp was awe-inspiring, leaving an indelible mark on my memory. Accommodation during the trek was comfortable, considering the remote location. Teahouses along the way provided warm beds, hearty meals with love and a cozy atmosphere to rest and rejuvenate after a day of trekking. Ram ensured that our dietary needs were met, offering a variety of delicious meals that fueled our bodies for the adventure ahead. Safety was a top priority for us & hence for the team. they took all necessary precautions to ensure our well-being. Our guide Ram was well-prepared and knowledgeable about altitude sickness, constantly monitoring our health and providing valuable advice. His attention to detail and responsiveness to any concerns or questions gave us peace of mind throughout the journey. Moreover, the camaraderie and support among the fellow trekkers created a fantastic group dynamic. We were trekking with other group , shared stories, laughter, and unforgettable moments that forged lifelong friendship. In conclusion, We wholeheartedly recommend Alpine Ramble for anyone seeking a remarkable EBC Trekking experience. Their attention to detail, exceptional guides and dedication to customer satisfaction ensure an unforgettable journey through the breathtaking Himalayas. We are grateful for the memories and the opportunity we got to explore this magnificent region with such a friendly & reliable people with professional company. Trekking to EBC is Once in a life time adventure and I strongly recommend this company to fulfill your dream. Thank you so much Alpine Ramble for making Our EBC Trekking experience truly remarkable & unforgettable.

To put it simply, Alpine Ramble is a masterfully run organization that produces nothing but excellent results. I had a goal of not only climbing Mera peak but bringing skies up it and shredding down. Dil, Dika, and the rest of the crew at AR stopped at nothing to make my goals come true. I even had a somewhat limited time capacity where they were able to switch things around to accommodate my schedule. They often referred to me as brother, and not too become too sentimental, but I truly feel as though I was one. The Himalayas are an absolute slice of heaven so what better way to experience it then with a company that treats you as family? I fully and unequivocally recommend Alpine Ramble.

What an amazing experience. I did my first trek to the Himalayas and it was life-changing experience. On my arrival, I had picked up by my Guide Sujal and drop me off at my Hotel near Thamel. Next day, I flue to Lukla with Sujal about 7 am in the Morning, the flight got a little delayed due to the weather but we were lucky that we got our flight. The trek from Lukla to Namche took us 2 days ( normal otinerary) following the beautiful valley of the Khumbu passing the Sherpa villages, the view was spectacular. I enjoyed every moment in this valley. The people were so kind and friendly. It's very different life in the mountain but a very happy life (It seemed to be), my Guide Sujal is exceptionally polite and helpful. A very experienced guide. Sujal was always there when I need the help. He took care me every moment with a great heart, I could not have done this Trek without great support of my Guide Sujal, thanks to Him and Dil from Alpine Ramble for providing me an excellent guide. I will never forget them and defiantly use this company for my next trip. I already planned to visit Nepal and do the Everest Base Camp with them. If you are planning to visit Nepal then choose Alpine Ramble Treks for your great trekking in The Himalayas for a lifetime experience.

Did the Annapurna circuit with AR. Dil was very flexible and accommodating. Our guide Ayush and our porters Siri and Lokendra were all committed to ensuring our trip went as smoothly as possible. They were very patient in answering all our questions. I feel confident having AR onboard and I had the best experience of the Annapurna Circuit because of them.

Alpine Ramble did a really good job with the trek planning. They showed great attention to detail with every aspect of the trip including meals, lodging and Lukla flights. I ran into several days of delays due to bad weather at Lukla and the owner Dil at the last minute made me a better personal itinerary through his hard work and dedication. The Alpine Ramble guides are very professional and met everybody’s need. I would recommend Alpine Ramble anywhere from a short excursion to a multiple week Everest Base Camp expedition.

We did the EBC and Kala Patthar trek in September with our awesome guide Tilak. Everything went great! From the planning phase, we talked to Dil, he tried to answer every question we may had and arranged everything else when we booked our tickets from Greece to match our preferred dates. Our guide Tilak was the best. He explained everything during the trek, always with a smile. He helped me a lot when I was suffering from extreme headaches and nausea due to altitude. He educated me about the mountains, religion, the life of the locals etc. We made a great team! Would definitely recommend trekking with Tilak! He is the best! The only thing I would change is the last hotel in Lukla (North Face Resort). All in all it was a pleasure to have booked with Alpine Ramble and would definitely recommend it.

I did the three passes Trek with Alpine Ramble as a solo guided tour without a porter. Those 15 days with 15 kg on my back was the best experience I ever had. Dill made the booking, the transfer from the Airport to the hotel, and the stay in Kathmandu a breath. However, Basanta as my guide was the best. He helped me, when I needed help. He motivated me, when I needed motivation. And most important, he was funny and experienced as no one else on the trek. Beside the vegan cookies that magically appeared when most needed. 😍 People we met on the trek told me, that we behaved like brother. Thanks to Alpine Ramble Treks and Basanta for this adventure. I lost my heart to the Himalayas but found a truely friend with Basanta. Please ask for Basanta when considering a Tour with Alpine Ramble Treks.

I'm glad I chose the right company; it has become a beautiful time in my life that I will never forget. It's indescribable in words because I trekked the ABC with four of my friends together. Safety was my top priority, and they indeed delivered. They took excellent care of each one of us, ensuring we ate well and maintained good health. When my friends felt unwell, they reacted quickly and provided a solution, which reassured me because I knew we would be safe. They were more like friends than “guides” and “porters”. During the mountain climb, we got to know each other and shared stories and laughter, turning each day in the mountains into a remarkably ordinary and joyful experience. My friends and I had no issues with accommodation and food. Don't imagine staying in a hotel, where everything necessary for a good night's sleep was provided, and the food options were plentiful. I could feel their passion for preparing food. In the end, the biggest motivation between my friends and me was, 'Have you decided what to have for lunch?' Ps. Please try the Lemon honey ice; it was very refreshing. Pineapple juice, Ginger tea, and mint tea are all my favourite drinks. I'm also very grateful to Dil for handling everything well. During the busy season the responses might be slow, but rest assured and give them more patience that Dil will get back to your messages as soon as possible. He's a very kind, friendly, and responsible person. And trust me he will certainly handle your journey thoroughly for you. Lastly, I want to say that life is short, and safety is essential when we seek adventure. I am very thankful for Alpine Ramble's assistance and for creating a pleasant and unforgettable holiday for me and my friends. Watching the happiness of each of my friends, I am deeply moved. I know that life only offers one chance, and travelling and adventuring together is not easy. It might be just once in a lifetime, but the memories will last a lifetime. Thank you very much, Boss "Dil Gurung," for the warm welcome it made us fall in love with Nepal quickly, thanks for all the arrangements and all the documents you prepared and for leading the company so well. Thank you very much to our team guide "Ayush Gurung" (our big brother always told us to slow down or rest and drink more water) for taking care of each of us, helping us carry our bags when we were tired, and ensuring our well-being and safety and make us so happy. Thank you very much to our three heroes of porters: "Bhim," "Naraja," and "Anlish." Thank you for helping my friends when they needed it. I greatly respect and appreciate all of you. You are true heroes in my heart. Thank you and with much appreciation. तपाईंलाई धेरै धन्यवाद With all my love, Arron Liu 12/10/2023 “Happiness is only real, when shared.”-Christopher McCandless

My mother and I had so much fun on the Annapurna Circuit trek! Our guide Arpan was so helpful and knowledgeable and our porter Raju was also fantastic!!! The views were BEAUTIFUL, the trek was challenging but rewarding, and the tea houses were so much fun. Thank you Arpan, Raju, and Dil (the organizer) for the trip of a lifetime! We hope to come back to trek in Nepal with Alpine Ramble soon.

An incredible experience from the moment we arrived in Kathmandu with faultless service from everybody connected to Alpine Ramble. Airport transfers, accommodation and initial welcomes all perfectly organised. The following day we travelled to Pokhara where again all involved were polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Our guide for the trek, Laxman, was a constant presence from the airport onwards, answering all our questions about the trek, Nepal and everything in between and met everything with a humour and smile that was infectious. We trekked to Annapurna Base Camp and I cannot recommend the company highly enough. They were superb from start to finish. Would highly recommend and will definitely be booking again. Huge thanks to Dill and all involved.

Very pleasant experience going on the Annapurna Circuit (14 days) with Alpine Rambles Trek. They were very accommodating and made my first time going on a high altitude trek a comfortable and fun experience. Thankful for the great memories I made with my guide and porter and will definitely be coming back next year!

We just finished the 12 day EBC trek with Alpine Ramble and have nothing but great things to say about the company and great staff. From when we first started planning our trek, Dil was extremely easy to work with and very responsive to all our questions. When we flew into Kathmandu everything was so organized and smooth from the airport pick up to hotel stay and into our next flight. Dil provided us with the best and warmest gear for our trek. Our guide Prim exceeded all our expectations, from day one we couldn’t believe how lucky we were to have him as our guide. He was more than just our guide, he took care of us, made sure we had the best accommodations, ate the best meals. He really treated us like family always checking in on our health. We gave Prim many names during this this trip, Uncle Prim, Doctor Prim, Mountain Prim. This trek was very challenging and we honestly owe all our success and enjoyment to him. Last but not least our porter, Cheshing was not only exceptionally strong but also a greatly added enjoyment to our trip. He was always had such a positive attitude and was so helpful! We highly recommend Alpine Ramble treks and especially Prim for your trekking in Nepal!

Opting for the Everest Base Camp trek with Alpine Ramble Treks proved to be a remarkable choice. Suresh, our amazing guide, blended expertise with an engaging presence and care for our safety, elevating the entire expedition. Also, special acknowledgment to Man, our reliable porter, whose resilience and friendly demeanor left a lasting impression. Dil's meticulous organizational skills and service even beyond the actual trek were evident throughout, ensuring a flawless and unforgettable journey. Incredible experience!

I can't be more grateful to Alpine Ramble Treks for providing an excellent service to my Everest Base Camp mission. What a great trekking company! Dil is a very nice person and very approachable. I booked my trip from UK and I have always received prompt responses from him whenever I asked him something. Upon arrival to Kathmandu, I was taken care of so well that I never felt that I was a solo trekker! I also consider myself lucky that I got a very nice, friendly and helpful guide, Jiten. He was always with me from day one and helped me overcome every difficult situation on this long trek. I never thought that I could finish this trek just in 9 days as I felt little sick at some point, but Jiten with his expertise and advice helped me to stay well hydrated, acclimatized and eventually I was able to accomplish my dream trek with some awesome memories. If you have a chance, please ask for Jiten as your guide because he will make the trip more fun and enjoyable. Also you will get an excellent photographer! For those who are planning for EBC to fullfil their dreams, I would highly recommend that you go with Alpine Ramble Treks. Not only you will get variations in EBC treks with them (8/12/14/16 days), but you will be treated as a family member. I wish you good luck with your journey.

We just did the EBC trek last November via the Gokyo/Chola route and it was nothing but amazing. The service and support we received from Alpine Ramble Trek is next to none. No complains about the accommodation that was provided/chosen for us. Shout out to our guide Sujal and to our porters Kul Dai & specially Tika Dai for always encouraging us during the trek. Kudos to the Alpine Ramble Treks team 👍🤘.

I just returned from the 8-day version of Annapurna circuit trekk and can't stress enough how much the Alpine ramble team (from Dil the owner to the guides and helpers) contributed to making my first time in Nepal as smooth as possible. Aashis and Gru (my assigned team for the adventure) always looked after me from the moment we left the hotel on the first day to the very last second of my stay making sure I was comfortable and, above all and most importantly, well fed as they kept giving me things to eat to ensure I had the energy required for each day haha! Dil even arranged for us to come back to kathmandu in a car instead of the bus which was a tremendous upgrade considering we spent around 12 hours in the return trip from pokhara because of the festival's end and traffic was crazy. I also met some of the other guides and helpers and can say they all share the same spirit and make you feel part of the family and not just a client, which is key for this type of experience. They do live up to the expectations I had from reading about nepalese hospitality, kindness and respectfulness as everything has been great and will definitely reach out to them the next time I visit the country. Thank you so much and until next time!!

It is very difficult to express in words the experiences lived during the 15 days that I had the privilege of being in Nepal. Meeting and living with such friendly, pleasant, honest people who are always willing to help in every way necessary. Had an amazing and perfect experience with Alpine Ramble Treks! Our guide Sujal could not be better trained, prudent and experienced. Likewise Dil, a memorable human being, always willing to solve any problem with agility, patience and extremely captivating in personal relationships. The only thing I can cite as a regret is not doing more trekking with Alpine Ramble Treks and not staying longer in Nepal. From the first contact via email to the transfer to the airport, you will be fully supported by unforgettable people. If you go to Nepal, do not hesitate to explore this wonderful country with the ART team, you will undoubtedly be in the best company and with not only professionals, but a big and rewarding family. I recommend them I intend to return in 2024 for more challenging adventures, with ART, of course! Warm hugs.

It’s monsoon season and it’s the hardest time to trek in the year and I’ve never ever been felt secured and well taken care of as a solo traveller and trek up in the unfamiliar highest hills I’ve ever been in my life till last week. All thanks to my companions, Ram and Somraj for being so professional and empathetic when things don’t go the usual way. They treated me like a family.Overall it was a great experience.

I just went on a 15 day trek to Everest Base Camp via High Passes and Gokyo Lakes. The experience was absolutely amazing, and I was completely taken care of by the team at Alpine Ramble. My guide Ram and my porter made sure that I was comfortable and that everything I could possibly need during the trip was provided. Every night Ram brought me fruit and snacks! The trek itself was absolutely stunning. We went through trails that are not typical of the normal EBC trek, so I got to experience different scenery and views that were unique. Ram was very knowledgeable of the trails and I felt comfortable following his lead. He even held my small bag when we were going over the high passes! I will forever remember this adventure! Thank you Alpine Ramble for creating this once in a lifetime experience.

10/10 recommend Alpine Ramble – namely Dil (CEO), Dik Rai (guide), Lak Rai (porter), and Kumar (driver). My journey to Everest Base Camp via the 15-day THREE PASSES TREK was flawlessly executed by the team – really, flawlessly. In the pre-trip planning process, Dil was accessible and responsive to questions; and once on the ground in Kathmandu (pre and post trek), he was always around and available. All airport pick-ups and transfers went smoothly, as Kumar was prompt and on-time for each. As for the trek, I feel like I hit the jackpot with my guide, Dik Rai, and his brother (my porter), Lak Rai. Dik Rai outshined all the other guides in his (1) professionalism, (2) knowledge of the local culture, terrain, and navigating high altitude, (3) patience, (4) detail and service orientation, and (5) sense of humor. His catchy rhymes (there are many) and singing brought laughter and lightheartedness to each day. Additionally, Lak Rai’s positive attitude and smile was inspirational and a delight. I consider myself very lucky to have had such a great team. Many thanks and much appreciation to them for a safe and remarkable journey through the Himalayas. I would change nothing about my experience, except next time I would bring cough drops (the air is very dry and cold up high).

Just ended an amazing trek to Everest Base camp with Alpine Ramble. Dil was extremely helpful and professional from start to end and helped to answer all my queries well before I got to Kathmandu. Moving on to the actual trek, our guide Arpan was nothing short of fantastic. He was extremely helpful with guiding us through the difficult terrains and ensured we reached our daily destinations well ahead of time. He is one of the most patient humans I’ve met and also very endearing as he brought fruits, biscuits and chocolates for us all the way from Kathmandu so that we could snack and stay energised during our climb. The company also ensured we stayed in/dined at the best tea houses (when possible) during the whole trek. They were also flexible to change teahouses when we suggested other options. Not to forget our porter Bakta who was also vital in getting our stuff from one point to the next on a daily basis. He always got to the destination well before us despite carrying a heavier load. Hat’s off to his endurance. Overall a 10/10 experience with this company, would gladly recommend them to anyone who wishes to visit Nepal for such activities.

I would like to thank Dil, Sujal, and Suman wholeheartedly for 12 unforgettable days trekking to Everest Base Camp! Dil assisted us perfectly during the booking process and was also there for us during our time in Kathmandu, including pick-up from/to the airport. Since we were travelling Asia for a longer period we did not have much warm clothes with us. It was therefore much appreciated that we could borrow some gear (sleeping bag, down jackets, hats) for free. Any other items we could buy in Thamel for reasonable prices. During the trek the team was very punctual and made sure that we stayed in the best lodges/rooms available. Sujal and Suman were also very flexible in adjusting to our pace and preferences, for which we would like to thank them once again.

So let's start off by me explaining i needed evacuation...I got extremely sick on this trek and couldn't have asked to be in better hands. Dil was able to coordinate everything in less than 2 hours with my travelers insurance, arrange the helicopter, and coordinate the hospital for me. Ram, my guide, was so patient and kind. He even carried my items for me which I know was a lot for him to do, even if he is superman! I appreciate alpine trek for all of their communication and coordination. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, even with me getting sick. So glad I did this base camp trek and with this company!

I am so glad we got in touch with Alpine Ramble Trek to plan our ABC trek. Mr. Dil was able to patiently work with us through all of our planning questions and trip organizing. We were able to personalize our trip even up to the last few days before arrival and while on our beautiful trek. We met our guide in Pokhara a day before the hike to finalise everything. The next morning, we were greeted at the hotel, got us on our transport , arrive at the trek , it was all done swiftly. Our guide Mr.Prashan was very friendly and helpful. Once on the trail, I was assured that Prashan, definitely had our backs, which made our adventure hassle-free. We celebrated our daughter’s 1st birthday at the summit. Thanks to Alpine Ramble Trek, Mr. Dil and Prashan for a life-changing trip. Looking forward to returning to beautiful Nepal.

This is truly an unforgettable experience starting with Dil who was great at communicating and helped my wife and I feel very comfortable about organizing all our trip with their company. They truly know how to help every step of the way. For the actual trek we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and guide with Laxman. He helped every step of the way with his knowledge of the mountains, the food and how to make the experience very enjoyable. He became more than just a guide but a very good friend and introduced us to many new friends along the way. We believe that he was a great part in helping us make it all the way to the end with his positive outlook and encouragement. This trek is for very strong hikers and can be made possible by a great company like Alpine Ramble. I would greatly recommend them to anyone who would love to do the same.

I did Annapurna base camp trek with my two best friends in March with Alpine Ramble Treks, this was my first trek ever in the Himalayas and altitudes. I chose to do it despite the Altitude, that I wanted to take a challenge myself and my dream have now come true, I am so glad that I chose the right local company, Dil and Alpine Ramble team help me since the moment I landed in Nepal, Dil introduced my guide Krishna and porter Prashant. I got more excited when I faced my guides and encouraged me a lot although trekking is still challenging for me since I have not reached any high altitude area before, Annapurna base camp itself very high with the elevations of 4130 m. When We started the tour the next day our guide gave us a lot of information about the trek, I and my friends are excited to reach our goal, we walked up to reach ABC for 5 days and come back to Pokhara took us 3 days, the trip was amazing, I have not got any high altitude sickness which I had a fear a lot before the tour, the trip itself amazing, it is probably one of the best places I have ever seen on earth, The team was excellent. Very professional and experienced. You can see ART is a company that takes care of its employees – well-trained and certified guides and porters. All equipped with proper quality trekking gears. Our guide and porter are very experienced, they showed us some beautiful sights in Pokhara at the end of our trek, We could not have done this trek without the great support and help of the guide and porter from Alpine Ramble. Finally, I’d like to say I really enjoyed trekking with these guys. They both gave me a local perspective and insight on the Annapurna region and on Nepal as a whole. If you are planning on doing this trek make sure that you have proper trekking gears and buy some proper water bottles for the hot water (I took the extra bottle and put a lot of hot water to drink because I was not able to drink cold water in the morning and evening times), the water is available at every tea houses and our guide helped us to buy. Once again, I would like to thanks Dil and Alpine Ramble treks family for taking care of us from the begging to the end of our trek, we miss you guys a lot! and see you next time for EVEREST TREK!!

Formidable experience trekking to Everest Base Camp with Alpine Ramble! The service was excellent from A to Z, giving advice and providing nice accommodations the whole way. My guide Tilak was very experienced, knowledgeable about the regions’ secrets, attentive to comfort and security at all times. He was the best guide I could have hoped for and I strongly advise you to ask for him if you can. Alpine Ramble is a rising star company in the Nepal trekking industry. They will customize the trips to your needs if your make reasonable requests, and their human size team gives you more proximity with the boss Dil Gurung. The flexibility is one of the main things I’ve liked about the Alpine Ramble trek to EBC. I made it! Small traveler tip: take your time to go up! At least 12 days gives you enough time to acclimatize to the altitude and enjoy the scenery and culture. So, book with Alpine Ramble, ask for Tilak as your guide if he’s available, ask for Dik Rai as a porter if he’s available in Lukla, and you’re set for fun and success.
