Our stay here was mixed; it's a great quality hotel and worldwide brand so perhaps some items that were a minor inconvenience for us shouldn't really be happening at this level of hotel. Firstly, the reception, pool area and restaurant/bars are vast, well designed and well staffed. The pool in particular must be or at least borderline Olympic size, one length was enough for me! It overlooks a beach across the road. This beach is not sandy, it is rocky and forms part of the reef that you can snorkel in. For sandy beach scenes you go to Kamala beach - a shuttle bus is on offer; 11am outbound, 1815 inbound if I recall correctly. Our room had been renovated from what I understand. Overall they had done a great job. A couple of key items for me that were lacking, reliable air conditioning control and international plug fixtures. Easy fixes in a renovation of this standard. The cleanliness of the room on arrival was as expected, very clean. During our stay this was not adhered to as strictly; our floors were very often dusty. An item I must mention is the topography of this resort, it's set within a steep hill. We were able to walk up to our room in around 5-10 minutes but it is very steep and took its toll in the heat. There are buggies available to escort you to your room if you are willing to wait. It wasn't so much a problem for us, but a warning to others who may not be as able within the heat. The food we sampled from the pool bar menu was fine, we didn't eat within the main restaurants. I felt the prices for these areas and the breakfast too were too steep for the area. Breakfast buffet was 750baht (approx £17.50), we didn't try it so I cannot comment on the value of this. As I mentioned before, this hotel has some outstanding features that were let down by some minor, easily fixed issues for me. A high standard of hotel affords a high level of review for me. I trust my review offers insightful feedback for the hotel and for future visitors.

The hotel seems recently renovated which gives it a modern and clean look. The staff were very friendly & attentive to guests, welcoming and chatting with us to see how we are doing. Breakfast had a huge selection to choose from and they even have a fresh juice station where you could select the fruits and the staff would juice it in front of you! Rooms were clean and situated on a hilly area where you had good views of the ocean. Pool was large about 50m which you can comfortably swim laps. They had snorkelling and trekking activities depending on the season. We stayed as a family with older parents and everyone enjoyed it!

I have never had such a pleasant stay at a hotel, and I have stayed in many, especially Hyatt brands. The staff and the service is fantastic, and they are so helpful and courteous. They truly are always willing to help with a smile on their face which is not the norm these days. The breakfast buffet is outstanding and there is literally is something for everyone. The rooms are clean and really beautiful with very nice touches. The pool is enormous and the lush grounds are also beautiful. Just a short (albeit hilly) walk to Kamala Beach which is wonderful, and the one across the street is also very convenient and quiet! My only complaint: I didn't stay longer!

This is a lovely hotel. Every member of the staff is helpful, friendly and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The huge swimming pool is delightful. The pool attendants are always around to ensure that you are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is great, catering to all tastes. The only draw back was that in the 2 bedroom apartment, the second bedroom has no windows and the entire apartment has only one bathroom. But the little jacuzzi in the balcony made up for it all. The jacuzzi jets were not too powerful, but overall the room was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is set slightly away from any shops or massage parlours which adds exclusivity and peace to the hotel location. The little beach set up of the hotel is a treat. We were very satisfied with our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and daughters ages 16 & 14 stayed mid April for four nights. Exceptional communication prior to arrival, retrieval of necessary paperwork super easy and overall service by staff was excellent. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. On my first day I asked for decaf coffee and they did not have it. However, the waiter found some and brought me a freshly brewed cup. So grateful! Sadly they ran out after this. So please add decaf coffee for people like me! But I sincerely appreciated the effort. I highly recommend the hotel and boat tour. Beautiful hotel.

Went for a fortnight… stayed for a month! Went with family (2 boys aged 10 & 11) over Xmas and new year. What a place. Phuket is stunning. The locals; lovely. And the Hyatt is just what we needed: Deserves its five stars. By far the best thing about the resort was the staff, they were amazingly friendly, helpful and attentive to our every desire. Infinity pool is a lovely place to hangout. Kids friendly. The Spa is tranquil and the messages sublime (though a lot more expensive that the messages in town or in the beach). There’s a choice of four restaurants on site, serving great food. Our room was very well appointed, clean and beautiful. As stated, the beach by the hotel isn’t a swimmers beach, as their is coral, but there are several stunning beaches a short taxi away, or even a walk into Kamala. But did I mention the coral…in front of the hotel? With complimentary snorkelling? Not as good as you’ll get diving in more remote locations, but for right there in your doorstep it’s hard to complain. You can see lion fish, moray eels, parrot fish, trigger fish, sea anemones etc, etc Of course, once you’ve got the kids snorkelling the next thing is to get them and you trying Scuba diving in the safety of the hotel pool!!! Followed by a day trip diving arranged at the on-site sea bees dive shop. The place is so nice we hardly left for the first week! Then we started to explore Phuket, which is amazing and has a lot to offer. Bliss…

The best hyatt hotel I have stayed in so far, I am delighted with the kindness of the staff, they really try to make your stay as pleasant as possible at all times. Breakfast is fantastic, the lounge is also great the only drawback is that it is repetitive, but staff there is verry nice, special thanks to Bonus. The apartment is great, there are really a lot of places, with a view of the pool which is really phenomenal. One more thing not to forget, the adventures with Mickey are unforgettable the kids just adored him and we seniors too, i will never forget snorkeling in house reef.

Great experience with our stay. Spacious rooms, great views, and very friendly staff. Noodle at front desk was absolutely amazing, very kind and professional. She helped us joint our two different reservations into one and made our stay much more pleasant. She also recommended many places to visit in the neighboring beaches. Definitely coming back!

It was an excellent place to stay in a quiet part of Phuket. The rooms are large and comfortable. They offer golf carts to take you to your room, but be advised that there are quite a few steps you have to manage, so this place is not for those with limited mobility. They’ve got a great place to drop off kids, a playground and a great breakfast buffet. The beach in front of the hotel isn’t the typical swimming beach, but it does offer some fun snorkeling. You can go about 5 minutes north to get to some additional restaurants and a swimming beach.

Great place for couples to stay a few nights, if only for the most amazing food. We stayed at three other 5 star resorts and the Hyatt’s breakfast was by far the best by a long long way. Staff were attentive, well trained and the buggy drivers fantastic. We stayed in 1505 suite, great view and room. Only reason this review is not 5 stars is because of the issue we had with the room that resulted in us having to move and the random use of the suite next door in which the noise of cleaning dishes and cutlery went from 9am to 11pm.

Lovely stay We enjoyed our five-night stay here. Everyone in the hotel was very warm and helpful. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, overlooking the beach. Breakfast offering was very good and if you're after a quiet place for a drink, the hotel bar is a good spot. But if you want to go somewhere, it is not a problem to rent a car on Orange car phuket

Never felt more welcome anywhere else in Thailand! The hotel is neither the biggest, nor the smallest, however it does feel cozy and provides all you need from a five star resort by the beach. Lovely pool area with so much space, barely full, so you always get a spot if you fancy a pool day. We had a standard ocean view room which was just the right size, lovely view and clean. However it may be a bit hard to access the rooms if you are a bit impaired, however they do provide an excellent buggy service - either on demand or by just waving since a buggy is always in reach somehow. Breakfast was incredibly rich and plenty of space to sit and enjoy views. Let down was the coffee service as it was never clear whether you receive table service or self service. The staff made the difference here and on the whole property, they all go beyond and make a difference - from reception to buggy drivers, to breakfast and pool staff. They are amazing! The beach is not really nice by the way, such a shame that there is so much waste all over. However, there is a nice beach deck where you can get towels and drinks as well, just across the street. Location is not perfect, you need to either take a 15 minute stroll up and down the steep hills to Kamala or use taxi/scooter to get anywhere. Might be a bit exhausting in the humid climate for us Europeans but it is doable. General recommendation, but if you are impaired or disabled, this is clearly not the place you shall stay but they also state it clearly on their website. Would love to return soon again, thanks for a lovely week!

Staff are outstanding. From reception to the buggy drivers to pool staff and cleaners and waiters. The biggest plus about this hotel. Breakfast is outstanding and best we have had in Thailand so far! The burger at lunch was delicious apart from being a bit on the pricy side. Lobby, restaurant and bar are all outstanding and fresh and feel new. The sunset terrace by the beach is lovely. Only fault we had was we had to switch room 3 times. First room was not entirely clean and second room had issues with condensation from the air con. Part

Had a great stay at the resort and felt very welcomed. Special shoot out to Noodle at the reception for explaining everything at check in and providing us all the direction during our time at the resort. She made sure we had the best stay ever and provided local recommendations as well. Overall a great experience. If you plan to visit phuket, plan on staying at this beautiful property with amazing staff to assist.

Family of four staying in a family room with small pool Rm 1301. We were there for five nights. Location was a little isolated with taxis quick and cheap. Room was spacious but make sure you bring mosquito spray, they had a field day on me until the manager of the Hyatt sorted some mosquito plugs. Manager was fully accessible and very chatty. Pool was big and no issues getting sun lounges. Lee who works around the pool was very attentive and chatty. He was always on hand with fresh cold water that was a godsend with the weather super hot. Food was very good no complaints there though cheaper in Kamala and same standard if you find the right places. Hyatt is sat on a steep hill which isn’t an issue as there are regular golf carts to take you to your room and back down the hill again if needed. I did the snorkelling which was worth the money. The pool is quiet and could do with some background music.

The hotel is beautiful and located in a quiet area. They have their beach across the road. They have infinity pool, kids pool and lounge area. Food was really good and the staff was courteous. We had to wait with a baby for 2 hours to get our room. Otherwise everything was amazing. It is a good place to stay with family.

Quiet out of the way location next to the beach. Although not deep the pool is large and not overcrowded. Excellent little dive shop on site offering try and reef dives. They also offer day trips on their boat for total beginners and certified divers. There is also a beautiful reef you can snorkel just of the beach, with loads a fish and othe sea life. Hotel also offers a wide variety of daily activities and excursions.

I got the twin bedroom suite with a huge bathroom, and a private pool, along with a balcony, with ocean view. The room was super clean when I checked in. Their service is good, the staff is courteous, the food is yummy, and surprisingly, the food rates are not very high. My daughters loved the buggy ride from room to the reception, and to the restaurant. I didn't face any kind of issues, had a lovely stay for 3 nights and four days.

We had an awesome stay. We were with @logansfewd Tried all the restaurant. All great service and really tasty food. The main pool was awesome spent a full day. Then you can go snorkel at the beach in a mapped area. The rooms were spotless and make sure you get the spa suite. It is worth every bit. Golf carts to get around and they come super fast and they help with luggage. There is the ocean out front and the jungle behind. So great. Management also great at front desk. I now drink water with sugar it so refreshing. We had a great time beautiful place.

Lovely hotel with exceptional staff but the rooms aren’t 5 star exactly so if you’re expecting luxury rooms look elsewhere. But if you’re not fussy this will do you just fine. The breakfast spread is incredible by the way!

Staff at the regency club are attentive and works class. Eve noticed that I finished the passion fruit on my platter at lunch, and made me a passion fruit spritz in the evening. She also asked what time we were checking out (830am) & offered to pack us juices and fruits so we don’t have to rush to get to the airport. It’s these details that show the staff cares. Amazing service and food at the regency club. Top notch

Great experience with the family. Pool is great and rooms have a great view. Although it is set in a hill so it is quite steep to get to the rooms - can grab a golf buggy up. Breakfast buffet is a highlight. Kids really enjoyed being here. The family rooms are modern and large and clean.

Stayed 5 nights in the ocean view room and was lost for words! This place was 12/10! The staff was very welcoming and made the stay even more relaxing. The breakfast had a huge variety of options and overall a very relaxing environment. Would definitely recommend and be back soon!

Hyatt Regency Phuket is 40 minutes drive from Phuket international airport. Greeted with welcome drinks on arrival. We had an early check in at around 11AM. We had booked 3 rooms and one of the room we got by only 4pm. The rooms are quite spacious, but i see it lacked maintenance. The swimming pool was good and there is beach just opposite to the hotel. The restaurant serve some good dishes as well.

My first visit to Thailand, wanted to take a while away from work and have a relaxing time before i start my exploring in Bangkok. Hyatt is the the best if you really need to relax take a good rest but also enjoy the breathtaking view from your room. Having a private jacuzzi outdoor in your room with the view to ocean is just outstanding. Me and my bf had the best time together. The food my goodness, its so good specially the teppanyaki restaurant!!!! Its a bit expensive but still worth the quality. I do recommend Hyatt Phuket and would love to go back

I have been staying at Hyatt Regency Phuket for a week and I absolutely love it. The staff and the service is fantastic. Everybody is helpful and are always willing to help with a smile on their face. The breakfast buffet is excellent and there is plenty of variety, you will not be disappointed. The rooms are clean and really beautiful with a glas wall between the room and the bedroom. I would love to stay here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This resort was amazing. The entire staff was so accommodating and friendly. The hotel is a ~30min drive away from Central Festival Mall and takes a ~7min drive to Patong Beach. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience here. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it as an option for others.

It's rather unusual for me to talk about hotel food since most of the time to a seasoned traveler such as me have "been there done that" so often that my senses is "numbed" when it comes to hotel cooking. It's more often than not is to find faults rather than compliment the cooking... please forgive me to all my chef friends. Yet, this is one time that I would say "Wow!!!" Not once but several times throughout the dinner starting from the fingers food all the way to the deserts. The slow-cooked brisket is the highlight of the day for me that night. With some wine & fun conversations with my fellow colleagues it was truly an amazing experience for me. If you are staying at the hotel I would recommend go on the explore the dinner with at least once. Mr. Pravin the GM, the Executive Chef and his team actually put in the some effort to make your stay an unforgettable one, at least to me that's how I feel.
