My wife and I stayed here and we had the most amazing time at this property. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We were greeted with summer drinks, garlands and a welcome card and then transferred to our villa in a golf caddy. Each and every staff member that we came across was very polite and respectful. The property was top notch and all our needs were taken care of. The signature villa was one of a kind and we will definitely being going back and recommending this to our friends and family.

i cannot say enough good things about our sandbox experience at Banyan Tree. We were lucky to get a 2 bedroom pool villa, so we had tons of space and our own little kitchen. Rooms were large and very comfortable. we loved the grounds and being able to bicycle around (they provided bikes). the staff were SO NICE AND KIND. THANK YOU to everyone we interacted with while we were there. we really felt welcomed. we have stayed in so many hotels i can't even count. this was a stand out experience in terms of service. bicycles could be better maintained. that's about the only suggestion i have.

Banyan Tree is a paradise on earth. I could never ask for a finest, most perfect honeymoon in my life! The pool villa where we stayed was an absolute dream! Clean, spacious and with all the amenities one would need. Worth every penny. Staff go above and beyond to accommodate any of your requests and they are very kind with a smile always on their face. Received a complimentary honeymoon decoration. Also, 3 more gifts: a honeymoon gift and two Christmas gifts. We stayed for 3 nights and we ate at every restaurant there and every time the food was amazing! Lots of activities to do. I also participated in the daily candle ritual and I got the chance to get dressed in a traditional Thai outfit. We had the massage and Kim was fantastic! It was not just a massage- it was an experience! Thank you for a wonderful honeymoon that my husband and I will never forget! ❤️

We loved our stay here. The staff is very friendly,respectful, and friendly. We had a two bedroom villa with our own private pool. It was very nice. We stayed a bit far from the lobby so we called a buggy (golf cart 😁) to come pick us up wheneverwe needed to go somewhere. You can also rent bikes if you want to go out and explore. Good service...beautiful location.

We complained about deteriorating service level before checkout, especially in the restaurant and reception areas, and one of the front staff replied that they did all their best and told us to write a review here instead of taking actions. So, here you go. We visited the hotel 5 times in the last 2 years and this place has gradually lost its magical touch. Same issues occur repeatedly as the hotel is under-staffed and service mind is lacking. Breakfast is always packed and staff cannot keep up with workloads. Orders are often missing and one morning we got an empty coffee pod and the waiter insisted that we ordered it. Totally ridiculous. Reception is equally bad. Check-in and checkout are taking forever and once it is done, they just left us sitting there without informing us. Another day we called them to bring our car to the lobby as we did valet parking. When we got there, the car was still in parking lots and no one seemed to do something. On a high note, housekeeping is excellent and very attentive. They truly brightened our stay.

This hotel is fantastic, a little different to any hotel we've been to before. All villa rooms and very private. We stayed in one of the Grand Lagoon Villas and this was very private. Huge pool that was warm, as I said, very private so skinny dipping is easily done. Easy to get around as you can get free bikes or buggy collection. We made use of the spa and had some massages, these were up there with the most professional and best I've ever had, link that to the spa surroundings and its well worth a visit. The restaurants were all very, very good. Breakfast has a fantastic view to go with it. I think the only thing I would say about the breakfast is that the bacon needs to be better and some things like eggs, sausages and hash browns need to be available and not on request. The location of the hotel is perfect, a two minute taxi ride gets you into the restaurant and shopping area, which due to it being next to money residences, is very nice and caters to tourists and expats well. All the staff were a credit to the hotel, we were made to feel welcome at all times and no request was too much. I can definitely recommend this hotel, so much so that it will probably be on the visit list in January 2023

One of the best hotell I have ever been to, truly. Amazing area, great beach, lovely and nice hotel staff. They had bike-rental that would make it easy and stress free to travel around the resort. Breakfast was 10/10. I have never been to a place like this before. Private beach with perfect sand. Every villa has it’s own private pool. Can’t complain about anything here. Would love to return again!

This is our second time back here and both times have been amazing. The reason we feel is because one, the design of the resort is truly guest centric. It’s relaxed, easy, spacious and user experience is fabulous. The common pools with the bars are a highlight. The ease of cycling around the property is a lot of fun. The villas are so spacious and yet not too grand but comfortable and intimate. Two, the vibe from your team is very warm - kind, generous, welcoming. We came back with our two kids after three years and both the times we felt so welcomed and cared for. Three, there is such east access to the beach and we can hang there at the many charming places. The golf club next doors is an added bonus for us as a family. Ease of movement around the property and also to be able to get out easily is wonderful.

The staff spoil you at this resort. Men, our pool bartender and breakfast waiter knew our names from our first meeting, and took excellent care of us. Every treatment we had in the spa was amazing, and we went daily. The crew taking care of our room, pool and garden were great. Our spa villa was beautiful, comfortable, and private. It’s was a relaxing holiday. Great place to come to be pampered. Food was great, too! Will definitely return.

The staff here are the most wonderful people in the world. Friendly, professional, kind, and extremely helpful. I was so grateful that Everyone spoke English to this unilinguist, which made my stay so much easier. The resort was simply beautiful. Amazing villa and fantastic facilities

A real Thai hospitality with patient, grace and smile. The villa is what I want for my retirement - perfect setting and style. The food at Saffron thai restaurant is made with your detailed requirements in mind. A great stay at a reasonable price. I am making this an annual experience. I had villa 606; a perfect little number for a solo traveller like me who preferred to stay up late and get up late.

My second stay at Double Pools by Banyan Tree & it has surpassed my memories of my first stay. Food has improved & the signature restaurants wouldn't be out of place anywhere in London. I've stayed at many of the Banyan Tree Resorts around the world & this ranks amongst one of the best. The resort is one of the oldest resorts within the Banyan Tree family & it shows in some areas, however this doesn't detract from the overall experience. I would highly recommend staying at the Double Pools by Banyan Tree.

Really beautiful resort and friendly staff. Many great things including the room, proximity to golf resort and the beach. Jinny, who helped us check in was excellent. PRU restaurant had an excellent view too. Breakfast at the waterfront had a good selection of food. Things I wish can be improved are the close proximity of the pool villas to each other - could hear the neighbours; shuttle buggy availability could be better; lobby seems to have a lack of staff during peak hours; and some of the staff spoke limited English, trouble being that you wouldn’t be sure before initiating a conversation.

We were delighted to have stayed at Banyan Tree Phuket. Having booked the Signature Villa, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a Spa pool Villa. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made our stay a positive and wonderful experience. However, the villa looks tired and worn, although it was well-maintained. Buffet breakfast has a good spread of delicious food. Service staff were very warm and quick to respond to various requests too. It was an enjoyable experience dining at the Watercourse.

We are more than happy for the stay here, after the two years of confinement in Germany, and many paperworks, this hotel is included in the sandbox option finally we can enjoy a few days of calm, exclusivity, care, luxury… massages, our wedding celebration, the beach, seafood … we are more than happy and full of joy and love. Was a dream vacation! Loved everything about this place ❤️. Used the bikes a lot to get around, but shuttles are available and quick. Really enjoyed both the villa pool and the shared pool & bar. Laguna beach was nice and close by, accessible by bike. Onsite restaurants and food was good. There is a wooden tram to get to nearby stores off property. Concierge was great and set us up with a lot of excellent activities like Phi Phi early bird trip and FanataSea show.

Overall with a good experience. We quite enjoy spacious 3 en suite rooms, great swimming pool and breakfast buffet. There are some areas to be improved such as room cleaning and bird wastes around the pool.

We were there for the weekend. I revisited after 15 years. Must say I missed the old decor of the earlier rooms but did like the new, modern look. There was an Indian wedding at the venue so fell a little short of the privacy we prefer. The breakfast was delicious. Dinner at Saffron was good but because of the wedding, there were no tables outside. The AC room is not as nice when it comes to a beautiful view. But overall, it was a very good stay.

Great service! The staff were so nice and helpful. We ran the Phuket Marathon at 4AM. The breakfast was served at the lobby at 3AM for the runners. Special thanks to Cheerful (Oil) for sending me a finisher congratulation balloon to our villa, an amazing experience! The breakfast buffet is the best. A champagne after a morning jogging is simply great. The tennis counts are 3 soft synthetic grass courts. Very quick to dry up after rains, and very friendly to balls. Our balls were still in a very good shape after 10 days, an hour play each day,

Just spent a fabulous week at the Banyan Tree for our honeymoon. Stayed in a Spa pool villa which was amazing. Had everything we needed, spacious lounge, big comfortable bed and loved the bathroom with the his/hers sinks and outside bath. The pool and spa were the highlight and we spent most of the time lounging outside. Loved the few little extras like the honeymoom cake and sparkling wine on arrival, all the little surprises in our room after they did turn down service and the afternoon tea everyday. Another highlight was the one hour massage in our villa everyday. It was absolute bliss and all the spa staff were so friendly and professional. The ginger tea and fruit and yoghurt at the end was a nice touch as well. Buffet breakfast was great, so much to choose from including a egg, Phukut, Indian, Japanese and salad stations. Plus a large array of fruits, breads and pastries. Loved the unlimited sparkling wine as well! Nice relaxing start to the morning. We enjoyed the quieter area of Bang Tao beach and ate at some fabulous beach restaurants there while watching the sunset. All in all we are so glad we chose the Banyan Tree for our honeymoon. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were all so friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Loved being in our own private oasis and will definitely come back.

Superb hotel, shuttle bus & boat made a big difference. Loved the transport carts and our bikes. Food in the Banyan cafe is the only complaint, not that good. Saffron restaurant excellent. Overall staff are fantastic. To improve it would be good to have a free shuttle bus to Villa Market. Pool bar staff, Tiffy, O, J, Pang and Poo were all great

The in-villa dining / BBQ was fabulous! Dam prepared us a lovely meal in our own villa, which made us feel like royalty. We had possibly the best Caesar salad ever, seafood, meat and gorgeous accompaniments. Plus our choice of drinks. I highly recommend the in-villa dining for a special occasion, or just because you can. The double-pool villas are truly out of this world.

What an amazing night! Every plate of food was like a piece of art and every minute, every meal that we ate was so full of flavour, and really let the healthy ingredients shine. We have come back twice to enjoy more of the menu because the first time just wasn’t enough. The ambience the service and the menu was absolutely first class. An incredible experience, we highly recommend it.

We had a 2 bedroom grand pool villa and it was great! It was pretty big and more than enough space for my family (2 adults, 3 kids). We were all able to relax and lounge by the pool, etc. Service was also excellent. The property is big so it's too far to walk everywhere so you need to call a golf cart buggy to take you places. Usually they came within about 5 minutes of calling (but during peak times it did take longer sometimes). You can also rent bikes for free and the bikes are a great way to get around. The property is beautiful, the breakfast buffet is very good (especially the Thai food section), and the golf course is really nice.

Tiffy, O, J , Pang &Poo at the pool bar superb !! This resort is amazing , the decor the staff the food. The villas and the golf course is simply an experience. Very high end but not obnoxious. I’m already planning my next visit .

A beautifully design hotel with days on end details to admire. The place did age a bit but there are constant renovations and groups of workers trying to keep up with times. We were upgraded (which is always nice) but unfortunately to the villa furthest away and that came with nearby construction noises (which is always not that nice). Staff are super attentive but over the course of our 3 night stay we had to wait for our buggy more than 15 minutes at least twice (another downside of being upgraded to a remote villa). Overall we were impressed and would come back to this Banyaan Tree hotel or any other in the chain!

We spent 3 nights at Banyan Tree Phuket. The service was very friendly and excellent. As an architect, i enjoyed the design of the room and it opens up to the courtyard. For the last night we had dinner bu the lake, with an impressive fire show. The servers Manu and Tiffy and the full team were very nice and made our night a very special night to remember.

Very large and luxury facility with Thai architecture villa. Well crafted blend of east and west. Ultra upper class people. The plasma pool is spectacular at night. Enjoy bicycle riding during the day. Excellent breakfast buffet. Dinner at Saffron is a must. Truely, a 5-star experience.

Had dinner with Le Petite menu. Staff service were excellent and portion are generous enough for 1.5 person! The service staff even helped to crack open and extract every bits of the lobster for us. I also saw them helping to cut the steaks to feed the young kids. What a beautiful heart

If your dream is to find the perfect 2 or 3 bedroom pool villa that will serve as your home for couple of days and you are ready to pay for it, you just found one of the best options in Phuket. It’s beautiful and the cleaning staff will keep the villa tidy and clean for you. Villas equipped with a preheated, automatic and indulging toilet seats and your behind will appreciate it. Enjoy! The hotel is well located near a shopping center, many really good stylish restaurants, fancy bars and massage places.

Double pool villa was on my husband bucket list and his birthday gift. Amazing place! Some parts are a bit dated but overall it is an amazing experience: breathtaking villa with secluded pools, fantastic staff throughout the whole resort and great food.

Fantastic stay and luxurious hotel. The staff were very kind and polite. A great two week holiday in safe surroundings and with the staff always on hand to offer help and support. The daily fruit at 3PM was thoroughly enjoyed 😀

A very much private resort, which has lovely accommodation. Each room bring it's own villa with private swimming pool. Staff here are very friendly and always willing to go that extra mile. Food at the restaurants here are also very nice, and right next door to the Laguna Golf Club.

The staff are so friendly. Everyone you walk past says hello. The General Manager introduced himself to us when we were waiting in the Lobby and asked us about our stay. We also had the private in villa BBQ with Chef Make who was really great setting up, cooking and serving our meal.

Great top class hotel, the staff were super friendly and helpful, anything and everything asked for simply happened, in most cases before you even thought about it, the food and restaurants are unbelievably good, like Michelin star good. The villa was stunning, opulent, immaculate and spacious. The hotel and grounds look and feel brand new, ( June 2023) the SPA is the best of the best, large, luxurious, very well equipped, and stunningly landscaped, with very talented therapists. Can't recommend this hotel enough if you want to step off the planet and be treated like an emperor.

We have had the most amazing time here. We stayed in a Signature Pool Villa the room was clean, modern, well equipped, excellent maid, pool and garden service too. The spa was excellent we had Balinese massage came out feeling so relaxed. The grounds and villa are kept immaculate and clean. The hotel made a beautiful chocolate cake for my husband birthday very yummy. Everything was so good all the staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help, they are always smiling. We hope to come back again maybe next year. Thank you Banyan Tree for a fab holiday.

We loved staying here and had a perfect honeymoon in our double pool villa. We enjoyed the view at the lagoon and all those sounds that nature brings you. The new „Veya“ is also very awesome. The dinner is very healthy and delicious. Perfect for a good retreat! One night we had a very private BBQ in our villa with delicious food and excellent service. Make was a lovely chef!

The hotel was spectacular and great service. It’s a huge property. The staff catered to each one of us and made us feel comfortable. The food was great especially at Saffron. The breakfast spread was great and we had a good time. It’s a perfect place for going as couples, friends, family. Their hospitality was too notch. The spa was very relaxing for me and really well done. Would definitely go back and stay here sometime.

Overall everything was excellent but I’d have to say the staff made our holiday. Everyone we met was so friendly and efficient especially the Pool bar team Tiffy, O and Men and the host in Banyan Cafe who were superb! We’d chosen to Banyan Tree in the full knowledge that it wasn’t in the heart of the hustle and bustle in places like Patong. We were near enough to restaurants on Bang Tao beach and down in Boat Avenue so we’d have plenty of choice. We didn’t have a bad meal anywhere - the quality and service were always good and often excellent. We used taxis to get around that were well priced and always agreed a price when we got in so had no problems with overcharging. We all had massages in the hotel spa and they were amazing. As a family of four with two teenagers we had a signature pool villa which was amazing. Kept spotlessly clean throughout and fresh towels on constant supply. Our holiday to Banyan Tree was an experience we'll never forget and we’re already talking about another visit!

I Love it so much wish we could stay longer! Waking up to your own huge private pool is a great experience! I'm still thinking about the delicious food! The chef was kind enough to share his ride with me in his golf cart so I got to talk to him. He's from England and you can tell he is passionate about his work. He's truly talented!

It is a gorgeous hotel. Staffs are friendly . The 3 bedrooms suite with swimming pool is fantastic. The outdoor jacuzzi is with warm water. The only thing is breakfast choices not too attractive compare to other Banyan Tree resorts . For Thai cuisine, only 3 choices and other 2 vegetarian dish . For Indian cuisine ,only 2 choices. Pastry choices can add more varieties. Kids club is good enough to let Thank you for all the staffs who assisting us!

This is a truly 5 ⭐️ resort. The staff goes out of their way to spoil you. The villas are spacious and incredible. Their buggy system totally efficient. The resort public pool is amazing!It walking distance to the beach, where there's a few bars and restaurants. And to top it off, the breakfast buffet awesome.

We went there for our honeymoon. it was just stunning. the service was exceptionally friendly and very accommodating. you arrive and feel right at home! A special thank you goes to the team at the pool bar. Tiffy, O, Men, Gew and Apple provided lots of entertainment and a great atmosphere. We will be planning our next vacation at the Banyan Tree very soon.

By far the most amazing hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life. The staff went beyond anything I could have imagined. It was our honeymoon and they went to every reasonable length and then beyond to make sure we were having an unforgettable stay. The staff was a level of nice that you feel only exists in commercials. Coming from NY, where nowadays almost everyone in the service industry is rude and still expecting the max tip for doing the bare minimum work, the Banyan Tree staff will work hater than anyone just because that’s what they do. I have no problem singing their praises and recommending them to anyone and everyone who wants to have the time of their life. I also recommend the couples bbq at your villa if you really want to make the night special. We had Mr Mafia and he was the BEST! His cooking was excellent, incredibly friendly and made the night so special for us.
