The beach front villa was nice size but the furniture and fittings are outdated. The bathroom is great, huge shower. The bed very nice. The resort is spectacular in its overall appearance and presentation. The service at the pool bar was not good, the bartender disappeared manytimes for long periods. But the guy that worked in the surfing shop jumped in and made drinks and was awesome 👌. The breakfast was impressive and for me perfect. The gym 🏋️‍♀️ is ridiculously outdated and an a shame for such a lovely place. The staff at reception and around the property were very friendly and helpful. We will be returning but poolside villa this time.

Great place. Beautiful beach. Most important to mention that they have beautiful gardens. Front desk is amazing. However restaurant staff could be more polite(except egg and noodle counter). Their breakfast is average, nothing to mention specifically as good. I will still stay in this place and have five stars because rooms are great, amazing views and perfect beach.

Beautiful facilities, but with plenty of room for improvement. The rooms are old and not well maintained. The bed is hard, pillows are not very comfortable, and the bathrobes look old and not clean. Room cleaning is rather inconsistent. Sometimes new amenities are provided, and sometimes they are not. Occasionally, only the bath towels are left, and the hand towels are forgotten. The balcony is sometimes left uncleaned. Overall, the staff needs better training. Very few staff members can speak more than a few sentences of English, which is fine for most staff but not for reception. They struggle with their digital system, as seen in the restaurant when a staff member took 10 minutes to figure out how to print our bill. The most disappointing part is how underutilized their private beach is. There are not nearly enough places to lie down, and everyone fights for the few chairs available. Despite the ample space, there are no recliners. Staff do not take orders on the beach, so guests must go to the restaurant and explain their order to someone who does not speak English well. It takes 10 minutes to print the bill, and guests do not receive their food/drink until then. We would have spent more money if staff had come to us and asked what we wanted.

This was a whole package and in itself like an experience. Our room had a tropical garden view with all the basic amenities as mentioned by the property. A private beach with swimming gears (gears were chargeable). This beach has the most clear water and is best for snorkeling. The swimming pool was well maintained. Inside the resort you have restaurants, a bakery and a pool bar. You have a small area where they have kept animals and you can pet them too. Lots of beautiful places inside the resort to take photos for memories. They were very thoughtful in decorating our room on the occasion of my birthday and they also prepared a cake for me. Thank you team once again. Overall a beautiful, comfortable and fun stay. Will definitely recommend this resort to friends and family.

The place is large, very green and beautiful. Rooms are spacious, too. You will definitely find some time to relax. It could be a bit more clean here and there though. Be aware that the beach is rocky and you should wear some foot protection. What I did not like at all is the breakfast. Coffee is really bad and instead of fresh juices you get some awful tasting artificial version. The rest of the selection is not exciting either. Of course you cannot expect a tasty European breakfast (bad instant eggs), but also the Thai food selection was only mediocre (tasted overcooked and dry). For the price to low a standard. If I had known that before, I’d probably would not have pre-booked breakfast and made sure to buy and prepare some breakfast myself. A small fridge is available. We did not dare to taste lunch or the dinner selection as they were completely overpriced (private dinner come for much(!) more than you pay in a Michelin restaurant in Europe) and the breakfast scared us away from trying. Instead we found some good street food options around. Same is true for laundry. One piece of laundry costs so much as 4 kilo of laundry in town. Factor 10-12 applies to the massage place compared to town offers. Even though it was not yet a busy time after Covid. Without knowing other hotels in this price category, next time I’d try a different option.

Great value for the garden villas. Good service and friendly staff. Loved the daily petting zoo. Breakfast is literally the same every day so for long stays can be tiresome. Hotel is quite close to other busier areas so not a far drive. Private beach but very rocky.

Great hotel and awesome staff. Everything was clean and spotless from the 1st day until our check out. The breakfast buffet was awesome. We eat everyday here before we go to our tours. The pool is huge and very awesome, specially when my room connected to the pool. We have the pool access room. The room was organized and very clean. The hotel have their own private beach so no one bother you or trying to sell you something. The hotel have like a mini zoo where my kids had a blast with the animals. Definitely if I come back to Phuket, I will stay in this hotel again.

This was one of a kind experience for us. The property is gorgeous and has. Alot of activities to do around. The food is awesome at both restaurants and the staff is very hospitable. They took really good care of us. Specially, I would like to mention the humble behaviour and support provided by Jiffy, Vicky and Boyd enhancing our experience.

Best place to stay in Phuket, pool was huge, best breakfast, and they got a private beach with coral reefs. Did snorkeling for an hour, was not a right time to snorkel, but worth the money. Staff is so friendly, carriers are available for late nights to drop you off at rooms. One of the staff member's, “Polly” checked us in, she was really kind and helpful and explained us about the Motel real good. “Donut” helped us in checking out. Highly recommend staying here with family especially if you are accompanied with your kids.

I loved this resort. The room overlooks the beach, it's comfortable, quiet, and makes me feel private. The blend of nature with traditional Thai architecture gave the place a charm that makes you feel cozy and warm. All the staff are good and make you feel appreciated and respected. I especially want to mention the employee OH or Ibrahim, who had a beautiful welcome and provided good services. Truly, you feel comfortable and happy in this hotel/resort. I strongly recommend it, and I will always come back to it.

We had a wonderful stay at Thavorn Beach! We will never forget the excitement we felt when we arrived at the hotel. Beyond the extremely warm welcome from the Thavorn Team, we were truly amazed by the magnificence of the area. The hotel is built within an incredible tropical garden with lush vegetation that is perfectly maintained and gives it a unique charm. We stayed there 3 nights in total and therefore had time to fully enjoy the hotel and all it has to offer. The hotel’s location on a heavenly beach is unique, the staff is adorable and caring, the hotel is charming and very well designed and the food (breakfast, lunch & dinner) is absolutely delicious! A little bonus: it welcomes 4 unusual guests... 2 little pigs and 2 turtles walk around the hotel for the greatest happiness of children and older ones. For a unique experience, we recommend the room with direct access to the Lagoon Pool. You will be able to access the pool directly from your balcony. If you’re looking to live an unforgettable luxury experience, then this room is for you! Note that they also propose more affordable rooms, and just as incredible! As frequent travelers, we are used to visiting many hotels around the world, and we can assure you that the Thavorn Beach is worth the journey!

The scenery is beautiful, great bar (i wish the swim-up bar opened till later!) Staff is very friendly, especially Benz, she has been wonderful, kind, and took care of our requests quickly. Breakfast and the facilities (old buildings, need insect screens) could be improved. Beach location is lovely, lots of scenic spots for photos. The zoo has cute animals. Pool access room is recommended!

It has been a pleasant experience being returned to Thavorn Beach Resorts after the pandemic. The rooms were so clean and well maintained, the toilet was very clean, amenities were great, the linens were very good etc. I think all the minute details that were taken care personally by the resort management staffs was terrific. The quality of food was at excellent standard and all staffs were exceptional. They were very polite, delightful and eager to help. Service top notch as always. This was a big plus. They interacted with all the guests during breakfast and ensured that all the guests enjoyed their stay. A massive thank you to John for taking care of our stay and meet every need of ours. We would also like to pay a huge respect to the rest of the resort staffs for their outstanding hospitality service. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. A bonus point would be credited to the animal sessions held twice a day, encouraging the hotel guests to have a taste of the nature while staying away from their busy daily life. The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. We will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends.

Very nice Hotel with friendly staff. Good value for the money!! Breakfast very good. Beautiful tropical pool with garden. Private beach. The spa is highly recommended, one of the best Thai Massage. We booked 6 night at the beachfront village. The only thing is the rainy weather... I highly recommend this resort.

Thavorn Beach Resort and Spa in Phuket offered a mixed experience. While there were several highlights, there were a couple of drawbacks too. One drawback was the hotel's location. It was quite secluded with not much around in the immediate vicinity. If you're looking for a vibrant neighborhood with lots of activities, this might not be the best choice. On the bright side, the pool was excellent, offering a relaxing space to unwind and soak up the sun. The food was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring a pleasant stay. One notable feature was their cable car service, although it was a bit slow, it provided a unique way to go up and down the floors of the hotel. What stood out was the hotel's consideration in providing us with early check-in and access to the exclusive lounge room, typically reserved for members, due to our early arrival. This level of service and attention to guests was truly appreciated. Lastly, the beachfront location was a definite highlight, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. In summary, while there were some minor drawbacks, the hotel offered a good overall experience with comfortable rooms, excellent food, a beautiful beach, and exceptional service for early check-in. It's an ideal choice if you value relaxation and exclusivity.

Thavorn beach village is breathtaking! We had a wonderful stay there. There were mini zoo, swimming pool, beach. The hotel staff was really helpful too, especially Mr Oh. The Food was great, with Special mentions to their tom yum soup with jasmine rice(so aromatic). The rest of their menu was really great! They have an attached spa, beach rides. So in all would totally recommend this resort. It was a complete package.

Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa is one of the most unique resorts I have ever stayed in! The location is in good proximity with most of the attractions to visit in the island and at the same time feels really private and peaceful! It has everything you could wish for a relaxed vacation: a huge lagoon swimming pool, and a perfect blend with nature with their own botanical gardens. The rooms are spacious and within walking distance to the main areas of the resort. The food was very good and well served with a variety of options good for both adults and kids.and vegetarian. The staff are extremely welcoming with guests and always ready to help with any request. I think it’s an excellent hotel and good value for money in Phuket. Thanks Jai hind.

All in all a great experience. Breakfast buffet very good, rooms very good, scenery and surroundings nice. Only thing keeping it from a 5 star is extremely slow restaurant service for dinner both times when we ate dinner. Staff very attenative, polite, and helpful. Would definitely stay again! This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to things to to do but not right in the middle of it all.

We spent 10 days at a 3-4 star resort and then 11 days at the Thavorn. Perhaps my expectations were too high but I was disappointed. Our first day was a disaster so that didn’t help, there was a 50% special listed on the wifi login which we used as we checked in late and ate at the restaurant- never again. The food was rubbish, I ordered deep fried Sea bass and everywhere else in Thailand that is a whole fish, here it was paper thin slivers of fish, deep fried until they were cardboard and covered in a sauce that was just pepper on steroids. I have never ever sent a dish back but I did and they recooked it without the pepper and it was aweful. Then we asked them tomake sure our drinks were going on to the happy hour rate and they said No there was No happy hour at the restaurant. Showed them, she got her manager and she said that she would do it this time but they would take it down from the website and we couldn’t have it tomorrow.(stayed on there our entire stay) Felt like we were thieves, then when the bill came it had to be redone three times as they said we had drinks that weren’t in the happy hour list, showed them photos which said all drinks, then they said we had two drinks after happy hour ended, showed them we ordered them 10 mins prior. I was so embarrassed. Never ate there the rest of the time except for breakfast which was included in the deal. It was not a nice breakfast. Everything is precooked except omelettes and scrambled eggs, it sits on a cold plate so eggs are cold, bacon is cold, even French toast and pancakes etc which are under covers are cold. Never changed the whole time. We had pool access room and were excited to use it but because the gardens are so extensive the down side is the pool is always covered in litter. Staff clean it but it is futile, the other thing is it is only about 1.2 metre deep so always hot. It also closes at 7pm! It’s still 31degrees and sunny at 7pm in March so it meant we stayed inside the room. The veranda we had was nice but never got any sun, mosquitoes were so bad that I could not regularly use it even with mozzie spray. Also even in the hot Thai weather nothing dried on the racks. The room was weird, very luxurious in the bathroom but only one chair at a desk to sit and No over head lights only one lamp and a wall light. So I was stuck in the room on down time and struggled to read etc. when we both wanted to sit we had to sit on the bed, eat on the bed etc. there was no water in the fridge and the large cleaning bike and laundry cart was parked directly out our front door every day of our stay for most of the day. We had very noisy people above us who had a party on their balcony one night until 3am and other nights kept us awake due to noise in the room, you could hear everything. The pool bar is not open but the other bar is, the little animals at 4pm are gorgeous. I snorkeled one day and the gear from activity was broken although the staff were really lovely there and at the cafe. It is Not a swimming beach and I didn’t realise that until we arrived. In all it is centrally located if you have transport, has a bus that goes into Patong once at 4:30 and back at 9:30. We had a scooter and there is ample gorgeous food vendors cheap and close but not within walking distance. Bed was comfortable and room was clean but I wouldn’t stay here again. It is a long way from 5 star.

To start this review I would like to say that this Hotel definitely does not deserve 5 stars. It‘s about 3 stars max. There are a lot of different reasons for that but before I get into that I would like to mention two positive things first. - The area of the Hotel is extremly beautiful with all the plants and flowers. It feels like walking around a little jungle. - The staff at the reception was friendly and when we made a complaint about the fact that the Hotel was not worth 5 stars they wrote everything down and tried to improve on the things they could improve on at that moment (e.g. changing the bed sheets when we said that one of the sheets had a spot on it and didn‘t seem to be clean). Now I would like to explain why the Hotel does not deserve 5 stars. - The Hotel is old and definitely needs some renovation. And that applies to the whole Hotel so Lobby, Rooms, Furniture, Pool, Bar and Restaurants. Everything really needs to be replaced or renovated as it is very worn out by now. - The staff in the Restaurant does not seem to be very competent nor interested in their job. The seat pillows are always dirty, the tables are not being cleaned very well and some tables stay dirty throughout the whole morning. Coffee and juice machines are not being refilled very often throughout the breakfast time and the same goes for the cups, glasses, plates and spoons. As we always ate breakfast rather late - we always had to tell the staff to refill something or bring some more cups, etc. - The breakfast did not appear to be very fresh. - The Air Conditioner inside the room is very loud it makes it very hard to sleep with it. The staff had tried to fix it but it didn‘t really help as much. - The Hotel beach on the advertising pictures only partially matches the way it really looks like. During high-tide the beach looks pretty nice but during low-tide you will see a lot of ugly rocks and the water will be so far away that you can pretty much forget about swimming. When you want to go swimming at high tide you definitely need some good swimming shoes as you could hurt yourself really fast. (And I‘d like to note that the information about the high and low tide situation was stated on the booking site in the small details section and was not mentioned right away - I unfortunately saw it a little too late) - The sun loungers in front of the beach cottages are quite hard and uncomfortable to lay on. - The hotel does not appear to be very clean. When we ordered shakes at the beach bar I was kinda surprised by how the glasses looked like. They didn‘t seem very clean and were very worn out. - There are quite a lot of mosquitos so be aware of that. Oh - And some lizards might get into your beach cottage due to many open gaps. - Most of the staff don‘t seem to be very interested in the customers wishes, well-being or interests. When we checked out - no one even bothered to ask if we enjoyed our stay. All in all the Hotel was alright. Definitely don’t go there if you love to swim in the sea. I‘d also like to mention that we booked the hotel with a 59% discount and we are very glad we did so as the Hotel would have definitely not been worth the full price. Won‘t come back again.

This is truly a breath taking resort. The staff are super friendly. The resort takes nature conservation to a whole different level considering most hotels tend to remove green spaces. My wife and I are spending our honeymoon at the Thavorn and couldn't be happier.

This was our first visit to Thailand and we were blown away by the resort's beautiful beach front views as well as the staff's hospitality. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by the helpful staff that promptly checked us into our rooms and took our bags for us. The staff was also very helpful in providing us with information on different excursions and activities. We ultimately decided on atv rides, jet skis and banana boat. All of these activities were conveniently located near the resort as well. Our favorite part of our stay was the many amenities the resort had to offer: beautiful rooms, exceptional swimming pool, and the adorable well kept petting zoo. This trip was definitely one for the books and I would recommend it to all my friends and family!

Lovely holiday at Thavorn Beach resort. Gorgeous location and very peaceful, but need to taxi to most places. Beautiful & authentic Thai style which is what we wanted, albeit a little dated compared with big international chain hotels. Funicular to hillside rooms is an amusing quirk. The twice-daily highlight is the petting zoo with the micro pigs! Food is good, especially the breakfast. Could do with a bar with more ambiance. Crocodile bar is a little more food oriented. Great stay!

I had a wonderful experience, particularly with the reception service. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly and assisted with various inquiries. The staff was incredibly helpful, making my stay comfortable and hassle-free. I would like to extend my special thanks to Bella, a specialist at the reception. Her professionalism and kindness greatly contributed to my positive experience at the hotel. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for outstanding service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Facilities are a little dated and the location is secluded but those are the only drawbacks. The staff is some of the best I have ever encountered. They are very attentive, courteous and pro-active. They meticulously pay attention to detail. One example would be that I keep the do not disturb sign out most of my holiday but they would still leave a package everyday with fresh water and toiletries. In other hotels I always have to ask for this if they don't clean the room but at Thavorn it was done every day without me saying a word. The pool is excellent and the gardens are truly remarkable. If you don't mind needing a taxi every time you want to leave the property then I highly recommend you give them a shot.

My wife and I just stayed at the Thavorn Beach Village Resort and our stay was absolutely amazing. We were greeted at the front desk check in by Vicky who greeted us immediately and welcomed us with a great smile and a welcome drink. She then checked us quickly and throughly explained all of the details of the resort. We were then taken to our room by a very helpful bell-hop, we had a lot of suitcases but he happily transported all of them. Once we entered our room we were surprised by how big and spacious it was. We had a one bedroom hill-side suite over looking the beach. It had a big living room and a huge bedroom, both rooms had access to the huge balcony that had 2 lounge chairs and a soaking tub. The views from the balcony were absolutely amazing! During our stay we had a romantic dinner on the beach and we were taken care of by Moo, Honey, and James. The staff made sure my wife and I were happy with everything and they went out to their way to ensure we had a great dinner. The service that they provided us was absolutely wonderful. Honey even volunteered to take pictures of us so we could document our wonderful night! The next morning we walked around the resort and were amazed at how well kept the gardens are, we love trees and plants, so we were happy to see how this resort is built around the nature instead cutting down trees like other resorts do. This resort is one of the best that we have ever stayed at. Now to the pool, it’s amazing, it looks like it was carved out of a fairy tale. It’s a big pool that’s surrounded by trees, plants, and great scenery, it also has a swim up bar! The beach area is very nice also, it is clean and has beach chairs and lounge beds available. My wife and I will definitely return to this resort.

We enjoyed a full week stay at Thavorn in a beach villa and it was amazing. The room was big and had a nice terrace with a view directly towards the beach. It was cleaned daily. The breakfast had a good variety and plenty of food to choose from. The hotel gardens are really well taken care of and you feel like in paradise while just walking around. Dinner was also fancy and good. Just take a look at all the photos and videos which I added.

This is the best stay ever, staff was very friendly and the property is breath taking. They have their private beach, mini zoo, all sea activities and cafe, pool bar, restaurant and a great buffet selection. Best decision to book them for our last leg of Phuket. Totally worth it. Their pool and garden is one of the best you’ll ever see in a hotel/resort. 10/10 - Recommended

Great value for money! From check in until check out everything was perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The landscape and setting of the hotel is so beautiful and the sunsets are amazing. Best thing is the little animal zoo they open twice a day for the guests. Will definitely come back!

I like everything! Private beach, there is no one people from someone else. You can take apartment under the palm only 3 steps from the sea. City is not far. Food delicious. So you have to know what you want, or 5 stars hotel with perfect carpet in six floor and also 50 choices with breakfast, or lot of nature, sand under your feet all the way to the bedroom and so much private space.

We checked into room 3211 for two nights. We requested for two additional cups for coffee and were informed that they cannot honour the request as they did not have any cups to spare. When I argued they sent two earthen pots without handles for us to use. The bathroom shower could have been de-scaled as it had white deposit on the walls. The used dishes from room service are not removed for quite some time which attracts insects esp if left overnight as it was in our case. The beach is lovely during high tide but during low tide its a little difficult as its rocky. The restaurant had limited dishes but were good and reasonably priced. The breakfast spread was good and well laid out. The rooms are large and resemble traditional Thai rooms and the hotel is undertaking renovations to keep them up to date.

We had a poolside room. Rooms were clean but maybe dated, but this could be due to Covid & no money being spent. Pools were fantastic & service good. No pool bar when we were there. Front of house staff very friendly. This place is about a 10 minute trip out of Patong. Beach has a reef, so unsure about swimming.

We absolutely have been adoring this resort. We got the room with pool access out our back door and have been in the water the whole time. The staff had been incredible par the slightly longer than average check in time, but they served us tea and gave us access to the VIP lounge.

Superb location of resort with private beach. Lovely gardens with sculptures and well manicured plants. Expansive lagoon pool to relax by. Wonderful yoga instructor Sonia from Good Vibes Thailand - Yoga and Wellness Program. Sonia ran a very relaxing yoga session on the beach in the morning. Will certainly look to stay again when I next visit Phuket.

Amazing place! Like others have said, the entire hotel is a bit old and it's not a luxury place. But the quiet, the perfect snorkeling spot with reef included, the spacious pool, the beautiful greenery, the large rooms and the vast breakfast buffet made up for it. Guests were a balanced international mix (mostly Australian, Russian, German, Swiss, UK & SE-Asia) and it was predominantly couples without kids. Anyone complaining about the (remote) location is just too lazy to look at Google maps before booking a hotel. Weirdly we also had the off-putting insistence on the correct determination of a 3$ mini-bar bill (right as we wanted to leave for the airport) on a total bill of 1400$+ including daily generous tips. @Thavorn staff: There needs to be a better way.

It’s a decent hotel, but not worth the price at all — for the asking price, I would have expected a much, much better hotel, but unfortunately this was not the case. The breakfast buffet is so busy there isn’t enough seating for all the guests, so it’s always a “race” to get a seating first. This is simply not acceptable for a super expensive hotel. The food itself is decent, though. We had a beachfront house, with seating in front of the house, but the hotel later informed us these were not our own seats and any guest could use them. Every day around 8am or 9am other guests would lay their towels down, and “claim” the place, presumably before they were going to eat breakfast. The beach itself is mostly stone. They show you beautiful sandy beaches on the pictures, but they don’t exist; it’s all black stone. Laundry service takes two days, so they could do our laundry in time 1.5 days before we would leave. Cleaners skipped our room half the time mysteriously. So no fresh towels nor coffee refills in the morning. Again, if this was a $100/night hotel it would have been somewhat acceptable, but the asking price is over $1350 a night. Thats not at all in line with what you’re getting here. I definitely won’t be coming back here.

I had a fantastic time at this resort, which provided a wide range of activities and proved to be a perfect place to unwind and relax. The level of service I received was truly exceptional, leaving no room for complaints in that regard. While the location was slightly farther away from town than I would have preferred, it could still be considered a five-star destination by many. However, the only aspect that fell short of my expectations was the resort's restaurant. I encountered a few menu items that were out of stock, which was disappointing. Additionally, the restaurant's attempt to cater to diverse nationalities by offering a variety of dishes was commendable but lacking in execution. The non-Thai dishes, in particular, left much to be desired in terms of taste and quality. Despite this downside, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the resort and found it to be a wonderful choice for those looking for a range of activities and a relaxing environment. While improvements could be made in their restaurant's menu and the execution of non-Thai dishes, the overall experience was still highly enjoyable.

One of the best stays I have ever had in my life. The best villa and resort for the affordable price. The food, staff response, cleanliness, maintenance of the property was really a thing to be appreciated.. Looking forward to a long stay next time again with the family.

All round awesome experience. Beach and pool on your doorstep. Friendly service and very well priced restaurant. You can keep yourself intertwined at the resort for a full day but if you want to visit the neighboring towns their is a taxi service and shuttle to Pathong daily. Had a amazing stay and would definitely recommend this resort for families and couples. Thanks!!

Such a beautiful place! You definitely do not want to go outside of this place as it has everything you need in it. The resort is very huge, includes a beautiful pool, a cute little botanical garden, poolside and beachside bar and a pretty private beach. The receptionist, Vicky was very pleasant and welcoming. She and the manager John were very humble and helpful. The overall staff was very welcoming. We stayed in a hilltop villa, which had a gorgeous view of the beach and the resort. I definitely recommend this place for couples, friends and families. You will never regret staying here!

Stayed here to attend a wedding in December at the resort. Nice hotel with very beautiful gardens and statues surrounding it. We stayed at the pool access room which was few feet away to the super clean sandy beach. Fantastic restaurants with nice food. The is also a bakery, tailor shop and the happening Crocodile Bar which is a must visit. The petting zoo session was soo fun for adults and kids alike. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful, especially John & Ton who also assisted us here to make sure we have a very pleasant stay.

This resort is like a real jungle village, the amount of different plants, trees and animals is amazing and I have never seen anything similar so it’s worth visiting this hotel just for that. Now, the actual room is nice, has everything you need and the biggest bed I have ever seen but apart from the bed nothing particularly amazing. We had a spectacular view from the top level. Now the downside of that was that we had to take the cable car up and down which after a few days became really exhausting as just takes too long. You should allow at least 10 minutes to go one way and if you just want to quickly grab something from your room and go back can take as long as 30 minutes. There are stairs which take about 5 minutes but this is not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. The staff are also friendly and polite but I wouldn’t say they are particularly welcoming and some of them look like they need a rest. Also limited food options as only 1 restaurant open which is closed every other evening as they have different buffets on certain days which are usually 999 bahts so not the cheapest. The pool bar doesn’t offer any thai food at all so a bit disappointed. Also, tried to contact them weeks in advance about the romantic dinner vie email, booking etc and no answer only to find out that everything was fully booked so disappointing as well. The gym equipment really needs to be updated but nice view and dumbbells and a bench do the job. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here and would come back, however during our Phuket visit we stayed at other places in the same price bracket which were simply better overall better.

Enjoyed every single bits of our 2days stay here. Nice private beach and large swimming pool for relaxation. Superb landscape and feels like we were in paradise. Very friendly and helpful staffs especially Joy and Ploy who attended to our requests immediately. Thumbs up for providing a top notch service. Room was a little worn out, probably needs to renovate and carry out some maintenance works to ensure all things in mint condition. Last but not least, it is a great resort for us to relax and enjoy our honeymoon.

We are very impressed with Rofen’s hospitality and management skill. He has helped us clear confusion on room allotment, breakfast and tours as well. His gentle nature and the positive vibe is worth appreciation. Our stay here has been a wonderful experience and we would love to visit once again. All kudos to the management team. Also very happy to see the gestures of all the staff including the people operating the cable car.

Our stay was very nice! We stayed on one of their beach cottage and it was perfect. However, we found that a tile was loose on the floor and the toilet/sinks could have been cleaned better as there was dirty still present. Also, as a family of four we were only provided 2 or 3 towels and I had to call for more, and no one came which was inconvenient. We also requested the night prior to us leaving to have the busboys be present at 645AM to pick up our luggage and they weren’t there on time, which I had to call for them to come. Finally, the pool had several loose tiles and with kids we thought it was a little bit dangerous because they could have gotten cut. The overall staff was nice but communication and presentation could have been better.

We’ve had wonderful time here. The room (hillside) is beautiful and spacious, and the view overlooking the ocean is magnificent. The resort is also filled with many amenities such as private beach, mini zoo and big pool that make the stay even more memorable. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay here!

What a wonderful family holiday we had at Thavorn Beach Village. The resort is stunning, set in beautiful gardens with its own private spotlessly clean beach. The buffet breakfast offers everything you could wish for and always fully stocked. The staff are what make this resort so amazing. thanks to Peachy and Mai who always greeted us with a smile and a laugh at breakfast and a very special thanks to Jan at the Crocodile Bar who went out of her way every day to make us feel like part of her family. Bee, Boon and everyone else Thankyou! We will be back. Thanks again

This resort was one of the most beautiful places to stay in when you are going for a vacation in Phuket. We were 3 friends who stayed in this resort for 4 nights. Every corner of this resort is a beauty, the decoration in the private beach is so mesmerizing. There are decorations all over the property and every single spot can pass for a beautiful background. The pool side is also very beautiful. There is an unique style of ropeway type of tram service to take you to your room on different levels on the hills. The staffs are very generous and polite. There is no point on which I can rate this property anything less that 5. Must recommendation for people going for a vacation in Phuket.

Beautiful environment, like an oasis, nice private beach with variety of sunbeds and tables, comfy big bed, good cocktails, fitness center, beautiful pool (but it should be cleaned more often) good location but separeted from everything. You need a car or bike to go to bars and restaurants. The airco was too loud and I could not connect to wifi, I used my mobile net. Poolside room was nice. Pool access room which we checked smelled moldy but I guess not all is like that. That one is perfect with kids actually. Breakfast was ok but the same every day. After 6 nights it wasnt too amazing :))

This place was better than I expected, an absolute oasis and such peaceful ambience. The pools are amazing and the gardens so beautiful. Low tide shows coral but it didn’t detract from the experience for me. Outside restaurant needs more staff and service is very slow. Indoor restaurant is fantastic and has the best breakfast buffet. Outdoor live music is beautiful, swim up bar great, petting zoo adorable, Service and reception is great and the spa is so beautiful. The romantic dinner on the beach is one of the most beautiful things I’ve done and the food all delicious. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

So far best property In and around Phuket. They have best breakfast menu. Private coral beach, snorkeling is available and restaurant on the beach do try each and every recipe. They have rare gardens and flowers variety. Very old and heritage trees. Classic ropeway car.

Loved this place. Really exotic, romantic and relaxing. All i needed for my vacation, and a great destination for honeymoon as well. Boyd and Tiffy were really helpful on the front desk, when we had to check out but our flight was late. They provided us with pool towels to spend our time at the pool, with access to the VIP room for free coffee and snacks and also with a shower room to get prepared before we leave for the airport.
