A
nice
pine
tree
forest
and
overlook
at
the
top
of
Antalya.
Antalya
being
surrounded
by
mountains
on
it's
east
and
west
sides
is
also
hemmed
in
by
a
mesa
to
the
north.
The
mesa
stretches
from
the
Kepez
municipality
on
the
west
side
all
the
way
to
the
Varsak
municipality
on
the
east.
A
pleasant
drive
through
the
villages
on
Masa
Dağı
(which
means
mesa)
one
finds
they
are
all
covered
in
pine
trees
and
forests.
The
Kepez
municipality
has
taken
advantage
of
these
forests
and
created
a
fun
park
with
some
attractions
including
a
wonderful
overlook
and
a
huge
face
of
Ataturk
on
the
cliff
facing
the
city.
The
rich
Turkish
breakfast
and
cook
outs
are
the
main
culinary
experiences
you
can
have
at
the
top
and
there
are
vendors
and
go
carts
and
paint
ball
and
horse
riding
available
at
the
top.
At
the
bottom
of
the
hill
there
are
high
ropes
courses,
a
roller
coaster
and
four
wheeler
dirt
courses.
Across
the
main
street
that
leads
to
the
top
of
the
mesa
is
the
city
zoo.
This
makes
this
area
a
perfect
destination
for
a
family
looking
for
activities
for
the
whole
family
for
a
day
outside
while
in
Antalya.
If
you're
interested
in
visiting
these
places
and
you're
anywhere
in
the
middle
of
Antalya
you
can
take
the
city
light
rail
system
to
it's
western
terminus
and
in
ten
minutes
(all
uphill)
be
at
these
parks.
