The lobster rolls were amazing here! Be prepared to pay $25 for the roll but you can’t beat the quality! The staff was very friendly and brought our food out to us. Also, their to-go box was great quality! Will definitely come back when I visit Key West again!

Loved the history behind this place (love maine lobster rolls). The Food and limeade were great...a bit pricey, but understandable. The lobster grilled cheese was delicious. The staff and service wasn't my favorite... the lady was cold and kept disappearing... they gave me the wrong drink, but it was easily fixed once another staff member came... Space is limited...but inside and outside dining available. Overall definitely recommend for the food.

We enjoyed the Lobster Shack in Key West so much. The sandwiches were great! We got the Key West sandwiches and some Key Lime pie. I had found this spot on Google maps before heading to Key West. It was on my list of places to go and it did not disappoint at all. The gentleman behind the counter, Tim, was really kind. We ended up eating there twice in two days.

So yes, Key West is known for its fresh and amazing seafood. Lobster rolls never came to mind unless I was in New England. However, Key West was like hold my beer, I got this! Let me tell you, Key West nails it!!! The Lobster Shack is definitely a place you need to visit at during your trip to KW!! The price for each roll is intimidating, but absolutely worth it!! It's a quaint little shack at the end of Duvall that offers the best lobster rolls we ever had! Fresh tender lobster meat PACKED into warm soft buttered rolls. Oh my!!! You get so much meat!! It's amazing how much you get!! Definitely recommend this place!!!

We went to multiple high end seafood restaurants during our Key West trip and nothing even came close to being as good as The Lobster Shack. The lobster was so fresh and LOADED into the buttery, toasty bun. You won’t blink at the price tag when you see how much lobster is packed into these babies. Service was also great, fast, and super friendly. Run don’t walk. You won’t wanna miss this on your trip.

The best lobster roll I’ve ever had! It was so good we ate here three times in five days. Even when it’s packed the service is quick. Cozy place to enjoy inside or take your lobster roll down the street for a picnic by the ocean. You won’t be disappointed!

Had the shrimp roll and the grilled cheese lobster. Delicious! And portions were well served. The toast was buttery goodness. The shrimp perfect flavor. The lobster was so good. Plus I never eat the Coleslaw because it's always a sloppy mess of mayo. Not here. Crisp fresh crunch. No soppy mess! I ate the whole thing. Then we had the key lime pie. It was very yummy. Nicely tart. Plus service was wonderful!

This is a must visit if you're in Key West! As a lobster lover I'm a tough critic, The Lobster Shack far exceeded my expectations. The lobster was fresh and plentiful. Our group had lobster grilled cheese, the Key West Lobster Roll, Lobster Salad (for the gluten-free diner) and, Key Lime Pie. Everything was delicious!!! The staff was incredibly friendly, and I will make The Lobster Shack at the top of my next visit itinerary.

The BEST THING I'VE EVER ATE!! We had the lobster grilled cheese and the Key West lobster roll. Absolutely delicious and completely worth the walk over! It's right by the southern most point landmark.

I have to share that I just devoured one of the most delicious sandwiches I’ve ever had. For lunch today, I decided to check out the Key West Lobster Shack…a local and tourist fav. I was immediately and warmly welcomed by the owners, Shelly & Tim. Thanks for making it such a great experience. See you again soon!!

I had the lobster roll and it was full of juicy lobster inside crispy bread. Also it doesn’t take more than 5 minutes to get your food. Very nice place to eat.

The lobster meat was fresh and cooked correctly. It was tender and soft. The toast was warm and buttery and food was served pretty quickly. I didn't like the forced signs all over the store not to bring any outside drinks and for that reason it's a 4 star review. I literally just bought a fruit smoothie down the street and spent $10 on the smoothie.

Let me start by saying was extremely excited to try a lobster roll from Lobster Shack. Ordered the traditional lobster roll with light Mayo and it was very good and succulent. Definitely not a cold water lobster but was very good for Florida. I was not happy with the lobster bisque at all. Ordered a bowl that was $13 and I didn't get any lobster in my soup. It had the smallest pieces of lobster that I didn't even taste it. Not sure how a small soup with no lobster in it is $13 but a lobster roll is $27 and full of lobster. I would say if you come to this place stick with the lobster rolls and avoid the bisque not worth the money at all.

Amazing food and a very tasty Maine lobster! 🦞 The restaurant is a take away corner with some tables inside and outside the shack a for a fast meal. The lobster in the rolls isn't the Keys lobster but Maine lobster with the claws. Still it's a quality lobster, really nicely seasoned and well prepared. You can also find a perfect selection of beers to accompany the food. The staff is cheerful and kind. Prices are average high, but for being a shack I would have expected to pay less than a restaurant. 🔝👍

Best lobster rolls in town. Simply amazing. Service was great and the place is small but very nice and cozy. You can sit outside on warm days. The coconut shrimp was incredible and so delicious and we had their freshly squeezed limeade. So yummy!

We were in KW for a week and we went back 3X. Personally DJ's Clam Shack had nothing on this hidden Gem. The owner Shelly and her hubby were so nice. A must when you go to KW! I got the traditional with bacon added. Yum Yum Yum!

Fun stop for a quick lunch. Yummy lobster sandwiches. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Key West. There are a few bar tables for parties of two. If you have a group, plan on take out. A bit pricey but that’s Key West.

We always stop at the Lobster Shack multiple times when we go to Key West. They have the BEST lobster rolls. Get the Key West Lobster Roll, it's the best roll. The bread is fresh and they pile on the lobster, there are always huge chunks! The lobster bisque is super tasty too! The shop is small, but a lot of people order and take their food to go.

The BEST lobster rolls in Key West. We ate here atleast 3-4 times while on vacation the owner ended up greeting us by our name by the end of the trip. We tried the Key West & Diablo roll. The customer service was incredible. Such a cute little place and the owner was very friendly and kind. Highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to visit again in Dec!

Lobster Shack is my favorite place in the world to eat! The first picture is back in 2019 when we accidentally stumbled over this gem. We fell in love and literally could not stop thinking about it until we came back for our honeymoon in 2022. Nothings changed! Still amazing- owners are super friendly and great to us. I have not had a comparable lobster roll in Michigan, or Florida. I tell EVERYONE to come here on facebook key west groups. I tell all friends & family who come to visit the wonderful keys. Seriously- my favorite place. I can't wait to come back!

We had the Traditional Lobster Roll and the Key West Lobster Roll. Both were very flavorful. The bread was masterfully prepared and added even more tasty texture and flavor. We will come here again and heartily recommend The Lobster Shack Key West!

First time in Key West and saw a review of this place on instagram. Absolutely did not disappoint with the food. My lobster salad had all fresh ingredient and tasted amazing!! My friend’s lobster bisque soup was great. The staff aren’t the friendliest but was polite. The space is small but for the time of day we went it was almost empty. One thing I wish they had was Apple Pay. She also said they only accept cards with chips so make sure you update your card or carry a good amount of cash on you.

Guys, if you love lobster rolls and great people…Tim is the man to see! The Lobster Shack is always one of favorite stops. Tim and his wife are amazing hosts and make some of the best lobster rolls in Key West. There not the puny rolls you get everywhere else, these things are loaded with lobster and cuddled up in a butter toasted roll. We will always stop when in town! Thanks again for amazing food and service!

Omg! I love this place! I highly recommend it! It is the best and the most hospitable restaurant we have ever went to. The owner was super nice and friendly. The key west lobster roll and lobster bisque were amazing!! It was full of meat and very tasty! We’ll definitely come back to this place again. ~Joy

I can’t say enough how great it was and worth the wait!! My family and I went to Key West last year around this time and the wonderful family that runs the place was on their own family vacation. So we went again this and it was better than we expected!! So much lobster meat stuffed on a fresh roll!! THE options!! My favorite was the Key West roll and I usually go the traditional route but man it was so good! My husband got the Diablo roll, Brother got lobster BLT. We all tried something a little different because they have something for everyone!! I don’t write reviews really but I always read them and this was just too good to not leave one. Food was fantastic and the staff was matching that energy!! Can’t wait to go back!!

The lobster roll was really delicious. We had never even heard of lobster rolls so this was a first for us. We were actually thrown off by the cold meat taste but it was actually pretty good after the first bite. The place is small but had a very nice vibe to it. Great customer service.
