Had a nice dinner with my girlfriend. Location is great, food is amazing! Unfortunately our server was not attentive and for that reason im leaving 4 stars instead of 5. Keep it up!

We were walking around the harbor looking for some food & this place hit the spot. The key lime pie martini was to die for!! All the fish was cooked perfectly and the service was great!

We came back from our fishing trip and had The White Tarpon cook some of the grouper and snapper we caught. They did an awesome job! We also had fries, brussel sprouts and corn. The appetizers were meh. Our waitess was wonderful! The Rum Runner was delicious.

After a Fishmonster Charter trip we stopped in the White Tarpon and had them cook up our catch...Blackened and DeepFried were our choices.....they did an amazing job and the sides were green beans and potatoes...great meal!! Thanks for putting an exclamation point on our trip! 2023... Sorry I missed posting after last years trip!! We had the White Tarpon cook up our catch yet again! Fishmonster Tacos with Fried and Blackened fresh caught and cleaned Snapper is something everyone should experience! Great service too!!!

The only reason we went here was because there was a 2 hr wait at Conch Republic. So Happy we did!!! It was by far the best meal we had on the island. We had the seared grouper which melted in your mouth but the Star was the Zucchini, olive artichoke orzo pasta WOW!!! I could’ve eaten an entire bowl of just that. YUM!! My son had the whiskey bbq glazed ribs which was also perfectly cooked. They have great cocktails too. We also have been back for Happy Hour(1/2 off all small plates) which is the best deal for tasting everything on their small plate menu-

We came across White Tarpon while walking around Key West. It’s right on the waterfront at the marina. The Key Lime Martini is the best! The mussels appetizer with Cuban bread is amazing- the broth is tasty, you will want another loaf to dip in it (which they happily provide)! The service was great and everyone is so friendly

We spent 4 days in Key West in July and stopped in at The White Tarpon every day! They had a great Happy Hour that started an hour earlier than other bar/restaurants. The conch fritters were the best I have ever had and the Ocean Avocado Salad was yummy! Service was great. Highly recommend!

Best service in key west. Also, strongest drinks! The food was great too. We had a bunch of apps and few main courses, everyone loved their food. But our server was amazing. After getting poor to unacceptable service everywhere in key west, it was really nice to have a proper sever that took care of us.

I live here and love going to this place. It’s not just the staff that are uplifting. It’s also the clientele. To me, this is the best place to go to for happy hour. Honestly, everything is wonderful but my favorite during happy hour are the crab cakes and tiramisu.

Great spot. Wait staff was a little standoffish but was very understanding when my partner got heat exhaustion midway through our meal and we had to shuffle out quickly. Wait staff was very accommodating to our dogs as well and kept their water pan full.

Did the Fishmonster fish tacos and my wife did the fried shrimp. Shrimp was lightly coated, large and tender. Fish tacos had a nice fish portion no real sauce to speak of. I used the remold sauce that came with the shrimp on the tacos and that was very great.

While in Key West we had the pleasure of stopping in the White Tarpon. We were greeted with friendly staff and treated like they were truly happy to serve us. The atmosphere is light and fun. The view is amazing watching the boats come and go. I started with the key lime martini , a must have! The glass was rimmed in graham cracker crumbs. Delicious! We didn't get any appetizers, but now I wish I had. They all looked scrumptious. What I did get was the fish and chips. The fish was actually cod , as it should be! Some places like to use other types of fish but you can't beat a good piece of cod,delicious ! Portion was on point also. Our server was awesome and and made sure we had what we needed throughout our meal. Will definitely be back ! Highly recommend !!

BEST Happy Hour by far! We visited several places during our stay in KW and sampled their happy hour fare and non held a candle to the White Tarpon Bar. We first stopped in Monday 1/9 and had the conch fritters, bacon wrapped scallops and the smoked fish dip. Of those, the fish dip left much to be desired. It was meh, especially having had the smoked fish dip at The Fish House in Key Largo. But I digress… We had conch fritters at 3 other places and non were we good. Our least fave were at Sloppy Joes. Terrible. Anyway, Zach was our server at the bar and was great. Highly recommend and we will be back!

So in the competitive and crowded Front st- marina area, we prefer this place first and foremost for the Happy Hour in that area. Tremendous small plates half price, good pours on drinks. Sheltered mostly inside seating, great vibe outside seating looking at marina and the best people watching around. Help are great, fun and funky. Have had dinner, ok. But always one of our happy hour stops.

Food here was absolutely delicious!! Grilled Mahi mahi was awesome and cooked to perfection. The green beans and potatoes that came with it also went perfectly with the fish. The shrimp and crab appetizer was fantastic. Definitely the best thing I ate while here at the White Tarpon.

Staff was friendly BUT do not eat here if they are getting ready to close. We ordered the Fried calamari and Grouper bits. It came out very quickly but calamari was super chewy and rubbery. NOT GOOD AT ALL. If I end up sick, I’ll know why. Such a shame this place was great the last time we were here.

I would avoid this place at all costs. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the server was great. The food was absolutely disgusting. The appetizers were burned and extremely spicy. (Usually like spicy. This was insane). I ordered grilled shrimp. They had a foul taste as if they were left out for too long prior to being cooked. I didn’t eat them out of caution. The shrimp were very expensive and only came with 5 shrimp and soggy French fries. This restaurant would fail if it wasn’t in the center of other restaurants in a very busy town.

Restaurant is hit or miss. Have visited before and their apps are decent, but currently experiencing a lack luster wine selection, with an extremely tart key lime pie

Service was great, we were promptly waited on and food came out quick. However our meal wasn’t really all that good. Seemed liked maybe the fryer oil needed to be changed because the calamari and my sons chicken finger basket was very off tasting. Pork belly and scallops was small portion sized and honestly didn’t taste that great either.

Worst service I’ve ever had in my LIFE! I was seated with 5 of my friends and we are all locals, 4 of us are tour guides on the island. We understand being busy and high tourism season. HOWEVER, it took at least 20 minutes before the server even came over to take our drink order. After taking our food order we waited for over 2 hours for our food! During this time the server barely stopped over to check on our drinks or explain what was going on. Plenty of tables around us were seated after us and received their food well before us. Once we received our food we were so upset and hungry that we asked for a manager. The manager gave us the same attitude the waitress did making excuses about the kitchen being behind and being busy and offered no apologies. We should have been fully comped these meals but all we got was a 5% “locals discount.” Again, we are all reasonable locals working in the hospitality industry and we are not impatient or not understanding. The staff was beyond rude, and they handled the situation very poorly. They also have hidden their reviews on their Facebook page. Go eat literally anywhere else on the island.

We came while we were in Key west . The happy hour is pretty good and half price Apps . We had the fish Dip and Calamari. We were not a fan of the fish dip here and we had several different ones in the Keys. The Bartender was very nice and the drinks were cold. The best part is the view. We would come back to have drinks

Had the BEST meal at White Tarpon I had in all of the Keys while I was there in February of 2022! Had the Grouper and it was FABULOUS as was the Key Lime Martini! Even came back the next day for another KLM… YUMMY! Will definitely go back next time I’m in the Keys!

Everything we ordered was average, except for the mussels and Key Lime Martini, they were really good. Waitress was nice, but not very attentive. Service was very slow considering the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Not bad, but I've had better food and service during my vacation from less popular restaurants.

Love the ceviche, jamaican shrimps, and the alligator bites. Place was clean and great service.

Do yourself a favorite, and DO NOT waste your time or money at the White Tarpon!! This past Saturday had a very successful 1/2 Day Fishing, a Large Grouper and a Large Mutton Snapper were Stars of the day for us. The Boat Crew suggested to take our Catch to the White Tarpon, they would prepare the Fish for us, and being it was about 7:30pm we were hungry, so, I prefect idea. So, we did go to the White Tarpon and they ruined what was a wonderful Day by not know how to prepare Fish!!! We request that the Grouper be Grilled and the Mutton Snapper, Fried. When it was brought to the table, Grouper was fried and the Snapper was Grilled and they both were so over done, could not eat them. Mutton Snapper was dried out you would think this was week old fish and not caught just about a hour earlier. And the Grouper was even worse, it was so over fried, the coating was as hard as stone.The White Tarpon server and kitchen staff do not know what the hell they are doing. When I told the sever they got everything wrong, he did not offer a refund or complimentary Drinks, or, even offer to go get the Manager on Duty. He just said he would talk to the kitchen staff. What makes this all the worse; I have been coming to KW for the last 13 years, we have been here every year except the Covid year, and, this is the WORSE MEAL AND CUSTOMER SERVICE we have ever experienced in Key West, THE WORSE!!! The reason I am writing this review 4 days after the Horrible Dinner at the White Tarpon; I have called the White Tarpon to speak with a Manager for the last 4 days. First of all, no one answers, (real human) their phone, it is a recording to leave a message and they will get back to you. That did/has not HAPPEN!!! I gave the White Tarpon management an ample amount of time to return my call, Crickets!!! Do Not Go To The White Tarpon. They Just Don’t Care About Their Patrons Or The Product They Serve!!!

Was walking around the harbour to find a place to eat and decided on White Tarpon. We got the fish basket and the burger and both were tasty. The fish was nicely fried and the burger wasn’t over cooked. Don’t forget to order a key lime margarita!
