We went for lunch. It was fantastic. It is a boat, lovely atmosphere on the water. You are protected from the sun. If you eat on the first level, there is a roof deck that’s fabulous at sunset. There are four large steps down into the restaurant. food was fantastic. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was huge with a side of macaroni and cheese, covered in breadcrumbs. Hubby had the brisket platter with two sides. It is extremely casual. Staff is phenomenal. There is a military discount which we appreciate it very much. We will definitely be back.

Wow! What a delight! Eating on a boat in the water, with water views. The manatee was the largest even the staff saw! Feed fish leftovers from the boat. Everything is smoked! Even the baked beans and potatoes! Everything was delicious, best BBQ ever! They make and smoke their own sauces even! Reasonable prices for high quality food! Great and fast service! Wish I would have discovered this gem earlier I think it might be my favorite place! You will not be dissatisfied if you go here! Enjoy the views, the wildlife, great food, and a wonderful location! Before or after, walk the docks or charter row. Great place to find a charter for your next check off your bucket list! Great place, do yourself a favor and go! You will not find another place like it in the world!

This place is amazing! Delicious mouth watering food, amazing views and the people working there are so kind and helpful! The Queso Mac and cheese was the best Mac and cheese I've ever had!

Love It All! ❤️ From the rib rub and blackberry jalapeño bbq sauce to the 100 yr old bake bean recipe! My husband says you have to try the smoked potato salad and brisket. His favorite by far. Smoke on the water Smoked BBQ has roof top seating as well as inside on the boat. Chef and staff are great fun. An experience you don't want to miss! Smoked BBQ will smoke your fresh caught fish for you.

We ordered 3 way combo (1/4 rib + burnt out + pull pork), 3 way combo is $35, added extra $9 for burnt out, no extra fee for rib. I will strongly recommend you try rib and pulled pork! Soooo delicious 😋 Not sure if honey is in the recipe, rib and pulled pork are kind of sweet but I loved it 🥰 We had Kansas-style cheesy corn (extra $2), collard greens and smoked potato salad. Collard greens is awesome 😎 A perfect “partner” for meat. Also, blackberry source is the most delicious~ Thanks for tasty food!🥳

I loved this place! Great BBQ on a boat in the harbour. The lady serving was super friendly and helpful, the variety of tasty hot sauces were awesome, and the sides were out of this world…the jalapeño cornbread is a must!! We ordered the three meat combo which comes with three sides and then added on a few more sides as they all sounded so good! We saw loads of fish in the water as we ate our meal, including a huge sea cow that came right up to the side of the boat!! If you’re in Key West, you should definitely check this place out!!

Visiting from Iowa and hungry for real BBQ like home. This hit the spot perfectly, with a little Key West flair! The ambitious of the floating restaurant was so fun and completed the whole package. We enjoyed the upper deck dining. It had a fun vibe! Prices were fair, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was made quickly and had wonderful smoked flavor! Excited to find this place!

We hit this place up exactly a year ago....LOVED IT. Portion sizes were good,, great atmosphere. Went back in October and we weren't super impressed, but it was good. Went again today and that will be the last time for us. I got the burnt ends...portion size for 20 bucks was ridiculous. And, there was way too much heat(peppers) added to the house sauce on it. I don't like heat and it really ruined my meal. If I want to add heat there is sauce on the table to do it. My wife got the brisket and it was sliced like roast beef sandwich meat, but thinner. You just don't do brisket like that... and although her portion size looked right if the strips were normal thickness....but I bet there wasn't 2 Oz there because they were so thin. At least the atmosphere was still nice.

Life changing bbq experience! The pulled pork had a nice char which really brought in the caramelized flavor. Brisket and so tender and juicy it was awesome! And the sausage had a delicious snap. Did not disappoint one bit!

One of the best BBQ spots I ever been to! The burnt ends were cooked and seasoned to perfection! The corn bread was soft as cake and delicious. Melts in ya mouth and perfect to eat with the collard greens which was also seasoned perfectly. The hush puppies were delicious. The pulled chicken was perfect! I love the different sauces they have on the table. The cheese corn was also very delicious! Definitely coming back if I ever come back to Key West!

Took my lady on an impromptu date night to smoked. It is a former boat house convert to a quaint restaurant, with a great top deck for dining outside. I ordered the half rack of ribs, added some pulled pork. Chose cucumber salad and queso Mac and cheese as my side. My lady ordered the slides brisket plate with fries and coleslaw. All the meats come dry (meaning no sauce, the meat itself is still tender and juicy) but they bring the sauces to the table! Even without sauce everything was smoked perfectly with a great flavor. Adding sauce only enhances an already tasty smoked meat. I tried all the sauces before our meals came out. I decided to mix the spicy Kansas City sauce with the blackberry jalapeno sauce! Food was great and service was top notch! Brandon was working this evening, and very attentive! Highly recommend!

Hidden Gem near the marina and Naval Base. We stopped for a late lunch and were not disappointed. Hearty portions. Great tasting. Laid back atmosphere on a repurposed boat. We even bought a bottle of Blueberry Jalapeño BBQ sauce to take home. The owner and gent at the register were really nice and friendly. We parked for free by the police station and walked over a couple of blocks. If not, there is plenty of parking at the marina. We will definitely stop here again when in Key West.

The restaurant is a boat docked at the pier in Key West. We ate after the sunset, which made it difficult to see our food, as the downstairs isn't lit very well. There are tables upstairs outside, but they were full tonight. The staff is super friendly. Disappointed that we weren't able to try the Kansas City burnt ends; they're available Friday and during the week if they're not sold out. But once they're gone, they're gone. I had the half chicken, pulled pork, cornbread, and potato salad. The chicken and pork were really good. I had wished the skin on the chicken was cooked more, but the flavor was great. The potato salad was different. Not a lot of potatoes and it has a strong garlic taste, very flavorful, but potent. They offer 4 sauces- 2 mild and 2 hot. It's not cheap as it cost my family of 4 over $100, but BBQ usually isn't cheap. My husband wasn't a big fan, but I was satisfied.

I brought my family here and everyone loved it. The barbecue is like your standard good barbecue nationally (this is not a chain). The wings and sausage are very good. My favorite part was after you eat anything with a bone, you can throw the bone into the water and the fish will eat it. No, you will not get in trouble, the restaurant staff actually tells you to do it. If you’re in Key West and craving barbecue, this would be a good spot to check out. There is a very good view of the water as well. You’re right next to it.

Outstanding American BBQ! Ordered a pull pork sandwich & burnt ends, side included seasoned fries and smoked baked beans! Yum! One of my most favorite BBQ outings all year! Kicker, customer service is out of this world! The nicest folks this side of the Mississippi! Guess what, boat parking near the last building. Good luck and enjoy!

I love this place. The staff is wonderful and the food is so good. I go at least once a week for the pulled pork and BBQ beans. It is great to sit on the boat and watch other boats go by or the fish in the water.

What more could you ask for.. Great friendly service, fantastic choice of food, and absolutely delicious food. Thank you for having us for our post wedding lunch.

Who doesn’t love good barbecue?!? Well prepare yourself because this stuff is excellent and you are on the water. From the service to the smoke ring you will be more than satisfied. Sauces were all great. Bet you can pick a favorite. Sides are amazing. If you read this; just go. Thank me later.

After a day at dry tortugas we found this gem! On the water, awesome atmosphere and the best of all, AMAZING FOOD. The rub on the ribs was phenomenal and cooked to perfection. The loaded smokehouse tater with pulled pork was mouth water delicious. Awesome guys working and welcoming! highly recommended!

We actually drove past this place on a golf cart, and the BBQ smell caught us, so we turned around and Happy we did, everything we ordered was amazing, and they definitely don't slack on the amount of meat they use.

A great find in key west. Amazing brisket burnt ends and pulled pork. But even more amazing are the sauces, all made in house!! Perfect for those looking for a change from the touristy vibes in the old town. Located on a boat with a beautiful marina scenery. Great service with a good selection of sides and beers too.

Had a fantastic dinner, the food was great! Best bbq I’ve had in a long time for sure! David the owner was awesome and checked on us to make sure we loved the food. Would so recommend having some pulled pork from here, you’ll love it! Will probably have lunch here again tomorrow

Omg!!!! One of the best bbq we have been to. The pitmaster burrito is the size of a bus! Street tacos amazing!! Queso Mac and cheese and collards are incredible! We didn't realize the place is literally on the dock so took a minute to fund it. Just incredible bbq joint! A must eat at in Key West!!

BBQ was awesome and me and my Partner were impressed with the food. I got the street tacos and he got a pulled pork sand both were fantastic. We liked the vibe of the houseboat/restaurant. It does look weird at first but those are always the places with the best food. The only con I had was that the man at the counter charged my car and then flipped the ipad for me to sign and automatically hit the 15% tip without me getting the chance to tip on my own, add more or use cash. I did in fact still tip the 15% but it would have been nice to have my own option. but that's besides the point because the food was great! I hope this place does well

Right off the highway! Awesome float away restaurant, smokehouse, bar! The guy at the cpunter was friendly and informative, explaining all the sauces at the table. The food was fantastic! Really couldn't ask for a better quick bite on our way out of key west! Great view and delicious food!
