👍👍 The story of Etzel, aka the Irgun, is one of the more intriguing and moving chapters of the founding of Israel. If you go there as a tourist, as I did, you ought to stop here and educate yourself about some of the sacrifices that were made to make it possible for European Jews to finally have a home... People often mention nice,

Excellent museum chronicling the history of the State through somewhat different eyes than those that usually view it. Probably not your cup of tea if you are a 'liberal' or a 'progressive'!

Lots of information displayed in static glass cases. One movie and one multi sensory show. Some displays with buttons to animate the lights and sounds, but they don't always work. But what I really didn't care for was the emphasis on guns and killing. It is a museum about a violent group in a violent time and a violent environment.

A very nice museum. Gave a good background about Jabotinsky and his work, as well as telling the story of what had happened afterwards. The exhibits were very informative, and some were interactive too, which was a nice addition. The movies that were shown were very good, and interesting, not too long and not too short. Would recommend a visit.

The curators/docents were friendly and helpful. It gave a basic overview of jabotinsky. And it gave an unadorned version of irgun's version of history ... Whether or not you approve of their actions. I wish I had spent more time there.

Very old exhibits (1970's?) But great, in-depth information. The lady at the front desk was very rude though? Uninterested at best :(.

Let me get this clear first: this is not (as far as I know) a family hostel. It is cheap, mass and temporary housing. It's location is great, plenty of food, stores and museums. Beach is about a mile away so a good walk. The place is clean and looks nice and the staff are nice. There are plenty of activities inside as well.

Restaurant
👍👍 This restaurant is suitable for formal dining with a well-designed interior. The whiskey tastings add an enjoyable element to the experience. The food is on the pricey side, but it is delicious and a good option for a kosher restaurant.
