This restaurant is suitable for formal dining with a well-designed interior. The whiskey tastings add an enjoyable element to the experience. The food is on the pricey side, but it is delicious and a good option for a kosher restaurant.

😃 Except it is an amazing shelter bar with a huge whisky collection it is also one of the best restaurants in Tel Aviv. All of the dishes we ordered were so delicious and satisfying, the wine was great as well. However, in terms of service, we waited too long in the beginning even though we had a reservation and it took around 15 minutes for someone came to take the order, but the service turns to be great after so it was all good 😉

This was one of the best places I've ever been in my life, seriously. The best steak I've had in years. Great atmosphere, great service - and I will definitely return to this place again

Excellent food and service! A must for the whiskey lovers. The whole area, Sarona Market, is great! We had a delicious, really delicious, aged rib eye charcoal grilled with a baked potato. The server was really nice! making sure everything was the way we wanted. We're glad to have found this place a couple of hours after a 14 hrs flight to Tel Aviv. We came in without a reservation around 10 pm. With walking distance from our hotel, I'll definitely be back during my 7 days here. Many new whiskey cocktails to try!

A memorable experience! If you’re looking for a dining experience that checks all the boxes - great food, drinks and a captivating ambiance - this is your spot. The warm lighting and tasteful decor created an environment that’s both elegant and relaxed.

Probably the best whiskey bar & museum in the world. Huge veriety of whisky from all kinds, great cocktails, and amazing kitchen - smoked meats from the Josper! The steaks are from the best in Israel, and don't miss the desserts by pastry chef Noa Einat which are all perfect. Very recommended as a bar, and as a restaurant.

:An Unforgettable Dining and Service Experience" : "I must share the amazing experience I had at this restaurant. The service was simply astounding, going above and beyond anything I've encountered in Israel. The food was delightful. We enjoyed fresh and warm bread, a refreshing and tasty leaf salad, and the crown jewel of the meal was the fillet steak, which was simply a dream. All dishes were of a very high standard. The restaurant also boasts an extensive whiskey bar, offering a fascinating variety of drinks. I warmly recommend this place to anyone who loves the combination of kosher food and quality drinks. In short, I will definitely be returning."

I was here with my team for our last supper in Israel as after this we all were going back to our destination. We were greeted well as a team and our server was very smart and quick. She took everyone's drink order and made sure everyone gets what they ordered. Since it's a whiskey bar we ordered whiskey and a glass of red wine. There were appetizers that were served in all different kinds, tuna, beef, vegetables and so on. Our main course was chicken and Salmon. I ordered salmon and it was delicious, thereafter dessert was served and to those who needed coffee that was served too. The food was delicious, the service was great and the ambience is unique as it is an old independence war shelter and planes factory with majestic whiskey bar with a huge collection of blends and bottles, it's also a great restaurant since it serves Kosher food. The ambiance is amazing. Highly recommended!! They have three stories but we were on the second floor. The restroom is a little small but neat and clean. Overall, I will highly recommend visiting this place as there's a lot more to explore at this bar.

Very nice place. Second time I'm here and enjoyed both times. The selection of whiskey is super! The food is very good and high class. The atmosphere is quite, you can talk and enjoy the company of others. Note that there is an elevator if needed. It's very cold in the summer, and nice and warm in the winter time. There is a cigar bar on top and some private rooms. Enjoy

We had a great time! We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with cigars and a variety of whiskeys. Being whisk/ey fans, we decided to rely on the recommendations of Daniel the bartender. He was super nice, serviceable and a true professional.

It's ok. Food good, whiskey in abundance, but they push their 'whiskey journeys' rather than singles....I don't need 4 glasses suggested.....overall, ok

A wonderful place particularly if you fancy whiskey. The selection is excellent, I was guided by a well versed colleague and we sampled several memorable whiskeys. We had smoked ribeyes that had a visible smoke ring and were nicely tender. Starters were excellent but the dessert selection really sealed the deal. Well worth visiting.

Stumbled by here by accident after leaving the Sarona market - had a pennicilin and a flight. With around 20 different flights from around the world to choose from, you can’t go wrong. Jonathan at the bar was INCREDIBLE. So friendly! Did not have food, so cannot comment.

Absolutely the best steaks we've had in Israel! The whiskey tasting was fun, and we enjoyed excellent wines with the meal. We started with olives, bread and spreads. Entrees of Salmon Sashimi and a mixed meat platter. For the main course, 3 of us had Smoked, Aged Sirloin and 1 had Gnochi with mushrooms and artichokes. Dessert was the best Malawbi any of us has ever tasted and a chocolate fudge peanut butter heavenly concoction! We highly recommend The Whisky Bar for an upscale culinary experience!

One of the best dining experiences I've had recently. Even though I don't tend to go to kosher meat restaurants, I've had one of the best steaks I ever had in Israel

Kind service, great whiskey assortment. Great experience :)

  • 5/5 Itay B. 7 months ago on Google • 7 reviews
Great experience, the service was good but there is room for improvement, we ordered a few glasses of wine and instead of coming to the table with a bottle and empty glasses the waiter went back and forth to the bartender to fill glasses. This is just an example and the service was great besides those small points. The food and alcohol is amazing and fresh. The atmosphere is the perfect combination between ancient and new. Overall experience: 8.7/10

This place is unbelievable. The location is unique and the range and quality of whiskey is incredible. Having eaten all over Israel - the food here is unrivalled. The steak was cooked to perfection and the rest of the food was executed perfectly with an interesting range of flavour combinations. I highly recommend the beef carpaccio and the meagre fillet. The service was attentive and friendly. I would not hesitate to return.

The place itself is very beautiful and have nice vibes, but food doesn't live up to the hype, the beef fillet was almost overcooked, while we specifically asked for a medium cook, you should never overcook a beef fillet🤷‍♂️

Nice place to drink and eat!

  • 3/5 Motti L. 10 months ago on Google
Very nice atmosphere and food is good but it's ridiculously overpriced. Average spending per person was reasonable because amost nobody felt comfortable ordering a main course. I settled for a beer although I was looking forward to tasting some interesting whiskies in the "Whisky Museum" because I couldn't justify the price to myself.

Can't recommend this place enough, if you love whiskey and want to taste something new this is the place for you. If you visit, ask for Grisha, he's the best and he's a full on whisky professional, he can recommend you anything you'd like and this man absolutely knows his whisky. Amazing place, it's also kosher and they have a great kosher whisky collection as well.

The place is located in an underground cellar. Authentic vibes. Known for their wide variety of whiskey The first dishes were nice. The main course was better. Best to come with a group of friends to enjoy the atmosphere

Great atmosphere. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Massive selection of whiskies. Good food too. Not cheap, but reasonable amount for what you get. For special occasions.

Good selection. Bigger than the great wall selection of whiskey. Bourbon is of course the best though. I tried flight 19...it was kosher and had wild turkey 101!

Got here for a whiskey tasting event with 9 other friends. Also had lunch. Great whiskey! The waitress was very knowledgeable and told the story for each flavor. The food was also excellent and cost accordingly. 400 Shekel for each of us.

Honestly the rediculously loud music ruined the experience for us.... I'd enjoy it had I wanted to go clubbing not to a bar/restaurant for good whiskey tasting. Not to mention the disgusting bathrooms. I'd find a different place with a good whiskey menu.

If you love excellent meat and an endless choice of whiskeys, this is definitely a restaurant to visit. The ambience is perfect and the staff is quick to show up when you want them. We enjoyed a leisurely, relaxed meal, with smooth tastes of different whiskeys to educate our palates.

Giving it a 4 because the food wasn’t so great (not bad, but for the price it was a let down). Everything else was great - the service, ambience, drinks!

  • 5/5 Id P. 2 years ago on Google
Look ... This is not cheap , however! If you like whiskey , food and atmosphere (not a lot of people can say they don't) this is the place. It's Kosher without waving the food quality and taste , great cocktails , great whiskey and amazing design.

One of the most surprising Tel Aviv places. Old independence war shelter and planes factory. Majestic whiskey bar with a huge collection of blends and bottles, it's also a great restaurant (Kosher). The ambiance is amazing. Highly recommended!!

Great selection of whiskies and the place itself is really cool. Chose a flight of whiskies for a decent price.

  • 5/5 Igor Katz (. 2 years ago on Google
Really unique place. Nice worm, old school style, amazing variety, great stuff that is also very knowledgeable. Really had great experience with a friend, who is even not into whiskey and got a nice good cocktail.

  • 5/5 Niv S. 2 years ago on Google
We did the whiskey workshop and it was fantastic! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. He was happy to answer our questions, and his enthusiasm for whiskey made the experience not just extremely informative but also really fun! He helped us with selecting the journey, (number 6) and the selection was superb. We've learned about the process of making whiskey and then the differences between each one we've tasted. They were very different and we've learned where those differences originate. The food was also very good (we've had the gnocchi) and in general, the price is very fair for that quality. The place has a wonderful atmosphere and style. If you like whiskey, or interested in learning and discovering new tastes, this is definitely worth it either for yourself or as a gift for someone else. They seem to really care about the place and their customers. Can't wait to be back!

Great food, whiskey and wine! It’s underground and you may miss it if you just walk pass by. Came here for a team event. And the food and drinks we got were AMAZING! I tried there of their whiskeys, one red and one white wine. Would say I enjoyed both wines and loved the Hazelwood whiskey the most! Their food was also fantastic! From the bread, to the small plates, and the main. Nothing disappoints. I love the short ribs I ordered. Not over-powered by the bbq sauce. And the starters were great! Everybody enjoyed the bread and the dipping sauce! The salad was tasty with the sauce they put on it too! Great experiences overall.

Fantastic choice of whiskey, if you're ready for a 4-set course. Shared plates were nice as well.

  • 5/5 Aaron B. 2 years ago on Google
Nice restaurant bar with an amazing selection of whiskey and bourbon, offering a nice atmosphere and decor. The menu has interesting appetizers and main dishes. The food we order was well presented and delicious. The service was very attentive and responsive. We tried some of their selections of whiskey and bourbon. Their servers had some nice recommendations and spend some time talking about their whiskey assortment. The restaurant is in the upper end of price range. However, you do get high quality food, whiskey, wine and service. Overall a very nice experience.

Very cool location down in a cellar. The food was nice. The only thing to complain: there was no Israeli Whisky on stock. But no reason to cry, cause you will find ab alternative.
