I
love
staying
at
the
Umubano.
It
is
certainly
a
bit
dated,
in
terms
of,
say,
paint
and
carpet.
And
they
do
not
have
screens
on
the
balcony
doors
(I
think
every
room
has
a
balcony,
which
is
nice),
however,
each
room
is
equipped
with
a
mosquito
net.
Overall,
it
is
quite
comfortable.
Umubano
has
a
lot
of
nice
amenities.
Their
breakfast
is
extensive
and
delicious.
The
grounds
are
a
nice
size;
I
like
just
walking
around.
There
are
multiple
seating
options.
(Various
gazebos,
at
tables
in
the
restaurant,
or
inside).
The
pool
is
nice,
and
there
are
tennis
and
basketball
courts,
a
ping-pong
table,
and
even
mini
golf
(though
it
is
unclear
if
the
latter
is
still
functioning
or
if
the
hotel
has
clubs/balls
to
make
it
work).
I
see
a
variety
of
people
taking
advantage
of
the
amenities,
including
music/aerobics
classes
at
the
gym.
If
you
are
not
staying
at
the
hotel,
you
can
pay
a
membership
fee.
Staff
are
very
friendly
and
helpful.
There
are
conference
rooms
to
use
for
meetings.
Bakery
is
fabulous.
Restaurant
is
nice,
and
mid-range
prices,
though
unfortunately
not
many
options
for
vegetarians.
I
recommend
the
Umubano.
Itβs
a
good
place
to
stay,
and
in
a
pretty
nice
location
too,
with
many
other
restaurants,
shops,
etc,
within
walking
distance
as
well.
