My
fiancé
and
I
arrived
to
check
in
at
6:55.
Apparently
if
you
arrive
after
6
they
will
preauthorize
your
card,
which
is
fine.
However
I
was
not
made
aware
that
an
additional
duplicate
charge
would
be
processed
and
remain
pending
on
the
account
for
3-10
business
days.
We
laid
down
to
sleep
at
10
PM
and
the
AC
was
barely
working,
we
considered
going
to
the
front
desk
but
the
fire
alarm
began
going
off.
Front
desk
was
unable
to
disarm
alarm
from
10-11
and
fire/police
services
had
to
come.
The
fire
department
had
to
bang
on
the
sensor
multiple
times
to
get
it
to
turn
off
and
notated
there
was
no
reason
of
our
fault
for
this
alarm
to
go
off.
Once
emergency
services
left
we
decided
to
leave
as
well,
our
stay
had
been
completely
ruined.
The
front
desk
associate
offered
to
reverse
the
charge
as
we
had
been
at
the
hotel
for
only
a
few
hours/
our
bad
experience.
The
next
day
I
noticed
the
two
charges
on
our
account
so
I
called
to
speak
with
management.
No
management
available
on
Sunday
so
waited
to
speak
with
Mr.
Patel
on
Monday
between
9-2.
Mr.
Patel
refused
my
refund
as
the
front
desk
associate
made
no
notation
of
his
promise.
Mr.
Patel
agreed
to
call
me
back
after
speaking
to
the
associate.
Upon
following
up
he
informed
me
that
the
associate
may
have
mentioned
the
reversal
but
because
I
did
not
ask
for
the
refund
myself,
he
refused
to
honor
the
verbal
promise.
The
entire
experience
(my
birthday
weekend)
was
traumatic
and
I
will
be
reporting
these
transactions
as
fraudulent.
My
1
star
rating
is
based
off
the
facilities
being
run
down,
AC
working
poorly,
and
rude/unethical
staff/management.
Take
your
money
elsewhere.
