It was not only the rude check-in. Arrived at 240 pm. They would not release room until 3 pm. That's apparently their policy. Room 117 was absolutely disgusting. Photos attached. Charged $95 for that room and an additional $25 pet fee. Its a dump and poorly managed.

A great stay! The first night, the AC in our room was not cooling properly. Kim at the front desk did everything she could to resolve the issue, but it could not be fixed (it was late at night). She brought in a fan for the night and the next morning, maintenance replaced the unit with a new one. Aila who works the breakfast area was very polite and patient with all our questions. The room was clean and spacious. Pet friendly hotel. Good price. Would stay here again. A couple of suggestions: the bathroom had no fan, which would be good for hot showers or “stinky deposits” and the only light was an extremely bright ceiling light. Maybe a smaller, less bright light to keep on during the night for late night excursions to potty.

Wasn't sure what to expect when we booked this place for an overnight stay on our way to Florida. It is just okay, however, I would not stay there again for a few reasons. First of all, when we walked into the room, it had a stuffy odor...not musty really, but quite noticeable. Otherwise, it did look clean. Secondly, our bed had a very noticeable squeak every time you moved. In addition, the pillows were truly horrible... small, lumpy, poly-filled. Breakfast was quite good with a variety of food. Overall, for a one-night stay it was just okay at best, but I will pass on this hotel next time.

Staff is great, the room and common spaces are very clean. We can clearly hear every word spoken in the hallway. The a/c smells swampy with some perfume added to it, presumably to try to mask the swamp smell (instead of really cleaning the unit). The breakfast was standard freebie with waffles, scrambled eggs (dry, bland), bacon, toast, etc. No hot sauce, salsa, or cold water available. Dresser has cracks, obvious wear, and water damage (it is delaminating)

Great quite, quick check in hotel. Front evening desk was very polite and professional. Helped with a room issue with no hassle. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was very nice, good tv channels, air conditioning worked well, good blackout blinds, clean tub n bathroom (except behind door). Breakfast was good, plentiful and tasty. Good coffee, could use larger cups. ;) Safe parking lot and easy drive to gas station and food options.

The Inn was very clean and well kept together. The rooms are very nice if you are staying for one night and then going in the morning like we did. The staff are very polite and friendly, as well. Although the location might not be great I would highly recommend this as a pit stop to get some rest on your expedition/trip.

I was so happy to find a hotel who is pet friendly and not over charge for having a pet. Some places only allow certain pets but I was able to bring my bunny and we where greeted with smiles and breakfast was good the decor in the lobby is beautiful

Grace at the front desk is absolutely phenomenal. She was awesome to speak with and addressed every question and issue I had with a smile on her face. As long as she works here I’ll definitely be back when I need to stay in the area. I saw some reviews complaining about the cleanliness of the rooms and I’m happy to say this wasn’t the case. My room and the rest of the hotel were spotless. Will definitely be back.

Comfy bed, wonderful staff, don't get room next to housekeeping storage room they were extremely loud banging around at 8-9 AM every morning. Also, bathrooms have no ventilation so room felt damp all weekend.

We have stayed here 3 times in the past 2 years and it is wonderful. Driving to Florida from NC is a long drive so we stop here and spend the night then continue on the next morning. We have found our room comfortable and clean and a waffle and coffe the next morning sends us on our way. Located right off the interstate.

Nice clean rooms, and great customer service. Grace, the front desk clerk, was very helpful, and made an effort to offer a superb experience for my stay.

Needed a place to stay overnight and grace, the front desk lady, got me a room and checked in on short order. Another associate helped when I was checking out in the morning. She helped me get some items I left in the room.

Very pleasant staff. Nice clean lobby, dining, and rooms. Beds very comfortable. Shower was hot, Shower pressure good. Really like that they have large bottle dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower (and Dove brand.) Tiny details at the breakfast could have made it 5 star. Breakfast choices were fine, standard fare, but lacking "extras" that are readily available at other hotels : No hot cocoa, no tea, no ketchup, no hot sauce, no water to drink (fountain half way down the hall.) Would definitely recommend and stay again.

I love staying at this hotel. The staff is very helpful, kind, and professional. Grace, Catherine, Tyler ( front desk), and Tiler (?)(breakfast) have gone out of their way to make me feel welcomed. The service has been excellent. The location is quiet and the rooms are very comfortable. I travel a lot for work, and this hotel is one of my favorites.

With the good reviews I was expecting a little better. There was a weird smell in the room and I think it was from the many spots/spills on the carpet. I sat on the bed to lean against the headboard to read and the headboard was disgusting. Very dirty. I was kind of grossed out actually. There is no way I would sleep on the pillow I leaned against. The picture doesn't show it as it looked in person.

Had 2 good rooms here, one standard and one king suite. I stayed a week and I can't say I have any complaints, beyond housekeeping ignoring the do not enter sign 2 hrs before checkout. They even had flavored creamer 24/7 and half/half. Some places lock it down. They have vending machines and laundry equipment. Unfortunately there is no change machine. Good water pressure, comfortable beds, and the king suite was nice except for the smaller TV than the regular rooms. It was great for meetings in the room, physical or zoom, and will probably only stay in a king suite next time.

Nicely decorated with 8 Christmas trees! Clean comfy and very decent breakfast. Will make this my permanent stop on the way from florida. One minus, double beds were not queen size.

Our stay was horrible. The room was so dirty. Getting there after being on the road for 13 hours I just need a bed. The pillow cases were rough for a lack of better way to explain. I took pictures and went down stairs in the morning. I really wanted to see a manager but there wasn’t one on duty. The girl at the desk was shocked at the pictures I showed her. She assured me I’d hear from the manager. Lol. Haven’t yet. I don’t understand these places not having a room manager to check each room after cleaning. The pictures reveal areas that haven’t been cleaned for months. A huge mark in the bottom of fridge where something was spilled and not wiped. A mask in a draw from god know who. I could go on and on

The floors are filthy! Horrible smell and they try to mask it with fragrance sprays. Carpets are strained bad. Our allergies got out of control. They should have tile only since its a pet friendly hotel. Location is good, right off the highway, lots of restaurants around. Breakfast was terrible, eggs awfully dry, sausages were weird, what saved the day were the waffles

No pet fee for my cat. Very grateful for this as I evacuated from FL during the hurricane. Clean. Staff was nice. Free parking, free breakfast. In a smaller area, but still a Publix and Walmart nearby. Right off the interstate. I could smell something odd as others have said, but the room was clean so it didn't bother me much. I would definitely stay here again.

For over 20 years I have stayed at LaQuinta Hotels without issue. This visit was horrible. If you're going to stay at this hotel make sure and check your charges. I was over charged about $200.00 and I am still waiting for the credit on my credit card. Also be aware that they have never charged for animals...I have 2 small dogs...but they are now charging for pets. I made my reservations about 2 months in advance with no mention of a pet charge but when I checked in I was met by 2 women who were not the nicest and they told me I would be charged $25.00 a night for each dog. I was told that pet charges began December 1, 2022 which was after I made my reservation so I should not have had to pay that. That would have been $150.00 for our 3 night stay. Had I known that ahead of time I would have cancelled my reservation and gone to another hotel. The pet amount was corrected to $75 maximum yet my account was still overcharged $200.00 which has not been corrected.

My husband and I booked a room for us and our dogs, and our friend booked another room for himself, for 1 night on our way traveling between states on vacation. Our room was on the 2nd floor and our friend's on the 3rd. Our floor smelled musty, but our friend's floor did not. Our room was also musty and smelled funny upon arrival; adjusting the AC unit seemed to help with the room itself to make it bearable. Everything overall appeared clean in the room and common areas. My husband and our friend both had rough nights sleeping on these uncomfortable beds. We did not hang out here besides to sleep. We did not check out breakfast or anything else. The side entrance to enter and exit near the stairs was convenient and useful. It was also right next to the doggy bathroom area. For the price we paid, we would stay here again just to sleep during travel with our dogs.

The hotel was very clean. Room was clean and roomy. The staff was great! Very friendly and pleasant. There is an area on the side for you to walk your dogs. I would definitely stay here again. And both the night staff and day staff were so very nice!!

Hotel needs a bit of maintenance work done. That being said, it was clean, bed was comfortable, and they provided a nice breakfast buffet. Good coffee. They even had a couple of tables in the lobby where you could have your dog with you while eating breakfast. It was also close to I-95.

We spent one night here. Location is great as it is close to I-95. Our room on the 1st floor smells like it was under water for a long time. Luckily we brought air freshener and used it. After turning on the conditioner for a night, it got better. Breakfast was good and service was good too.

The place was okay. They asked us about having pets. We didn't but wanted to know more. The lady receptionist didn't wanted to answer anything. She wanted to get us room as fast as possible. But at that moment if you raised a question and I am an interested customer please answer it properly. The male receptionist was the one who answered the questions. The room were a little bit stincky.

The room and bed is pretty clean, pet friendly. It's a little dated, but it works well for looking dated. Breakfast was.. not impressive. The hot part was a waffle maker and a toaster. The la quinta we stayed at the previous night had the works for breakfast, so I'm kinda sad this one didn't live up to others of the same name. The noon checkout is nice with a toddler; I don't have to make him get up before he's ready. The parking lot is TINY.

Very clean and nice hotel. Staff was EXCELLENT. Great service. Waffle iron at breakfast was delicious. Best part was that they are super dog friendly! I just needed to stop and stay somewhere overnight while traveling from Pennsylvania to Florida. Glad I picked this place!
