Very friendly staff, the hotel is right next to the beach, the room was spacious and clean, the food was delicious. There is a good connection to the internet everywhere within the hotel. I will definitely come back

We stayed for a week in November Staff were most hospitable, friendly and always smiling 😃 They took very good care of me when I fell ill and arranged transport to the local hospital and provided full room service. Place is very clean and comfortable and food is great. Would give 10 stars. Thank you ka.❤️

Staying here was perfect thanks to the staff. They are so attentive, friendly, smiley and generally just want to help you. The food was really really good and well priced. The room itself was massive, great pool, lovely views over the ocean. Outdoor shower which was nice and a big jacuzzi inside. Would highly recommend.

It may be another 5 star hotel that may be out of budget for many, but the restaurant on the beach is worth a stop, if only to have the one vegan dish on the menu, the Green Curry. I checked with the chef, and it’s vegan, no weird fish sauce or other additives. It’s probably one of the best green curries I’ve had, or maybe it was the setting, or the friendly staff who said it was ok to also use their pool (hotel was empty at the time), or all of the above.

Nestled along the beachfront, Ammatara Pura proved to be a hidden gem for those in search of a peaceful escape away from the crowds. The allure of this retreat lies in its serene ambiance and thoughtful amenities. One of the standout features was the inclusion of a private pool in every room. This luxurious touch elevated the entire experience, providing a secluded space to unwind and enjoy moments of pure relaxation. The rooms at Ammatara Pura are impressively spacious, allowing ample room to breathe and appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. A walk-in closet added a touch of convenience, ensuring a clutter-free living space. The outdoor shower proved to be a delightful connection with nature, offering a refreshing and unique experience. Meanwhile, the balconies, complete with ocean and pool views, provided the perfect vantage point to soak in the natural beauty. A comfortable bed added to the overall allure, promising a restful night's sleep. While my stay was nearly flawless, a minor hiccup arose with non-functional pool lights and jets. Though a slight inconvenience, it did little to dampen the overall charm of the resort. In summary, Ammatara Pura is an enchanting destination, making it a must-visit for couples seeking a romantic getaway or families with small children. The resort effortlessly combines luxury, tranquility, and natural beauty, offering a memorable retreat.

Great poolvilla's. Very spacious with good eye for detail. All the equipment you will need is present, including a washing machine. Every day a team of four came cleaning. The bed is nice and soft, the bath tub large enough for six and the outside shower is fantastic. The large private pool is private enough to go swim without your normal swimming suits. The restaurant isn't a big thing, we went out for dinner every night. Luckily a nice little restaurant on the beach, right next the hotel, is available. It's called Zick Zack and we ate there every night. Breakfast however in the hotel is absolutely the best. You order the day before, so no buffet, but the quality is good. Staff will do anything for you. Even jump on a motorcycle to go and buy you fresh durian. The beach isn't a great beach for bounty island standards. But it's not bad either

This is hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in! ✨✨✨ Wonderful hotel with even more wonderful staff - they were so friendly and genuinely kind! The rooms were huge and came with their own private swimming pool, jacuzzi bath and outdoor shower. The breakfast was amazing! You can choose a really generous selection of food the day before, which was absolutely delicious and more than we could eat actually. We had a lovely dinner there and also lunch the following day (check out was at 12pm) - really recommend the chicken cashew nut and the pina colada. We were the only ones dining for dinner and they really took care of us; they even pushed our baby around in the pram so we could eat! We were also able to stick around after check out and use the pool, which was great to extend our positive experience; they made us feel very welcome. Some of us had massages which were fantastic. The hotel itself is so beautifully presented with a temple feel and it was so calm and quiet when we stayed, very peaceful.

Charming relaxing ambience, spacious gorgeous rooms, unbelievebly friendly and helpful staff! What I haven‘t seen in any hotel of this class before is a washing machine in your room - so convenient, really appreciated it. If you have a late night flight, don’t worry about checking out at 12 - I spent a day in town, came back, got a towel, refreshed myself in a shower and changed for the flight👌Thank you so much for this wonderful experience 🌸🙏🌸

Amazing hotel with very friendly and lovely staff. Clean, and great food. The room is beautiful. It was like being hosted in a palace or temple. We planned to stay here for one night, and eventually, we stayed for four.

This place is really beautiful. The details on the property and the room is just perfect. The staff also goes above and beyond for you here. You feel like they truly care about you and your experience. They took care of all of our transportation from the airport and to our next destination. They even helped us rent scooters to tour the island at a discounted rate. I highly recommend this resort. It’s clean and exotic. The rooms are giant and you feel like a Queen / King!

We spent a week here, with four total family members. What a great place. Totally unique. Great staff. Great location....once you learn to get to-and-fro via the beach. One member of our group was 77 years old, and "semi-ambulatory" so she had a little challenge...climbing stairs....etc. One thing to think about. This place is eccentric and cool. Everything works. WiFI is excellent, and pervasive throughout the property.

The staff are all thieves - they stole $4000 from inside our villa at night - while we were sleeping in the room … it’s scarey !! The manager Steve is completely useless and has no control over the hotel STAY AWAY! Don’t book here .. you will regret it …

It was absolutely amazing. The hotel manager (from England) was extremely kind , as the rest of the staff. Everyone was always there to help with any question we had. We would have stayed longer but wanted to explore the north of the island as well.

The three days I spent at Amatara Pura will be a very happy memory for me, who was traveling abroad for the first time. It was a difficult itinerary from Korea to Samui, so after many twists and turns, I arrived at this pool villa and the kindness I received made me forget all my fatigue, and the room, which was larger than expected and various amenities were extremely convenient. The breakfast was also delicious, and each and every staff member I met greeted me with a smile and was very friendly. Next time I travel to this island, or if anyone is planning to travel here, I will recommend Ammatarapura as my first choice. I was so thankful and happy.

A great resort located in Lamai, with beach access. The rooms are incredible. Very roomy and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were able to hire a scooter for the week we stayed for a reasonable price. We stayed at the end of July 2023, and there was construction and renovations being completed at the bar/outdoor restaurant, which would have been nice to know prior as it did detract from lazing by the beach and pool all day. Additionally the food was not that great. We had breakfast a few mornings (included) and one dinner, and would not eat there. Despite this, we would definitely stay there again, for the right price.

Very nice and attentive staff; the rooms and the hotel facilites are clean and spacious. It feels very relaxed and quiet here, while it is still easy to get to the more exciting party spots on the island!

The hotel is amazing. Very picturesque. Services was really good. Loved every bit of my stay. Rooms clean and tidy. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Gus (very friendly and greets you nicely) and Kay( she has smile on her face all the time). And the main receptionist Nong she is extremely helpful. We lost our bike keys , she immediately called up the bike person and got a duplicate key and gave us bike on a discounted price. Hotel is palatial and the best part is very pool villa has its privacy maintained. I love the property and staff. A big shout out to the staffs.

The pool villas are huge with outdoor (private) shower, oversized marble bathtub and nicely equipped kitchen with laundry washer. The private plunge pool is heated and there’s a generous sitting area for sunbathing and lounging. Breakfast is much better than the standard buffet as in addition to some buffet offerings, you can choose a la carte from about 15 different items ranging from huevos rancheros to Thai rice soup which is prepared fresh. Service was exceptional and everything we asked was done quickly and efficiently. They have a shuttle service that will take you anywhere in the vicinity of Lamai. The beach in front is nice and uncrowded. It is not the Four Seasons, however, so don’t expect corporate 5 star environs. This is definitely a boutique resort feel. The decor may not be to everyone’s taste - it’s fairly over the top. I thought it was pretty cheesy at first but grew to love it. This is great place for a quiet luxurious family/couples getaway, not a party atmosphere. Only two complaints which weren’t too much of an issue for us: the bed was super firm and the WI-FI is terrible. We are ok with firm beds but I could see this being a problem for some. We ended up using 4g WI-FI on our mobile cards for most of the trip.

I stayed in a garden view villa. What can I say, from the moment I entered the compound it felt like I had entered paradise. The atmosphere was amazing. The villa itself was massive, especially since I went there alone. The beach had white sand and the water was clean and very warm. The pool inside the villa was kept very clean. Only two things that I didn't like: 1. Loads of bugs everywhere, but I think this is normal in this island. 2. The breakfast buffet choice was very limited. But saying that, my stay was amazing and I'd definitely go back again.

Excellent hotel, huge 1 bedroom apartment villa with private pool and many amenities. The breakfast was a mix of buffet and "a la carte". The rooms were clean. Bed and pillow were a bit hard, but comfortable. The Hotel provides the possibility of renting both, cars and motobikes, but you can rent it outside at cheaper rates.

This hotel is one of a kind for many reasons. It is strikingly beautiful. It’s modeled after Thai Temple architecture. There is nothing else like it. It is literally in the beach. The two bedroom suites exterior walls border Lamei beach. It is a lovely beach to swim in and there are plenty of good beach restaurants nearby. Besides each villa having its own pool, it also has its own kitchen. We looked and couldn’t find any other places on the beach that had kitchens in the rooms. The rooms themselves are spectacular. The mattress is one of the best I’ve ever slept in. The shower mimics an outdoor shower. It’s such a joy. Plus the jacuzzi in the room! Perhaps the best part is the staff running the hotel. They are so kind and attentive. They are always very quick to respond, but also friendly and genuine. The pictures online are spectacular but in person it’s even better. It’s definitely the best place to stay in Samui.

The real rare to find gem on Koh Samui Lamai beach! We enjoyed everything there! The villa have huge bath with massage, good kitchen in dedicated room, dressing room with ironing board. Villa outside patio is great place for a breakfast enjoying the view. Resort territory is very green and clean, I love the design, it's unusual for Samui. The service is lovely, staff is very friendly and helpfull. The beach near the resort is brilliant, best part of Lamai beach. The place is not cheap but it worth the price!

👍👍 Stayed here for 3 nights. It was excellent. The pool was gorgeous! The breakfast was really really good too. Really fresh good quality fruits and cooked food! Only slight problem was that the hotel can get damp when it rains, which it did while we were there. We had to confirm with reception that it...
