Bed linen never was not-ragged.

Well what a disaster of a place. My girlfriend and I turned up to lamai central hotel to stay for 24 nights to only be presented the rudest non communicative staff. We booked lamai central hotel on the provisal that the rooms where like shown on the photos.. they we're nothing like them!! The rooms had damp beds! The room didn't even have proper windows it had these wood rotted barn style like doors which gave us our view of a busy noisy main road with high voltage cables right outside our window. The toilet still had pervious marks and stains from who ever had used the room before us. The shower and room smelt in general. Luckily we managed to sort other accommodation that day and we didn't have to stay there as we refused to pay for lamai central hotel.

They say my room couldn't be ready when I arrive at the hotel even though i had book it for almost a month. So I have to search for another hotel at night making my plans all mess up. Ridiculous hospitality. Not recommended 🙌🏻

Can't complain at all. Beds were comfy, air conditioned rooms with a mini fridge and free water. Rooms were cleaned daily if you wanted and for £11 a night, really can't moan. My only criticism is that they are currently undergoing some building work from 10am till 5pm which is INCREDIBLEY noisy. The reception staff notified us of this but it would of been nice to know beforehand.

We stayed here for 4 nights, and overall the place was okay. The staff was rude and not at all personable. The room was clean, though the shower/bathroom area was not (felt the need to wear shoes). The bed was a rock - to Thai hotel standards as we've found. The AC didn't work our first night, but one gentleman did allow us to switch rooms for the rest of our stay. The adjacent lot near the museum filled up every night with a market/fair-like festival where people shopped, played games, and played/sang very loud music. This will make ear plugs necessary for anyone hoping to sleep before midnight (when the noise typically stopped). The hotel is on the main road, so vehicle noise continued through the night. There is motorbike parking on the side of the building, though it is a tight squeeze to get back there with a motorbike. Overall, this was a fine budget accommodation at around $12 USD per night. If you pay any more you might as well step up to the $25 resorts in low season.

For the price, this is actually a very nice and comfy hotel. There are also a lot of services available on site, including bike rental, transfer services, tours, etc. Careful if you ask for laundry service, they mixed up all the clothes even after we asked them not to, resulting in 2 pieces of clothing being completely different color. Bikes are 150BHT per night, however i advise you to go for a little better ones as these ones are in really bad shape and not proper for safe use.

Great value rooms. Management speaks fluent English, German & Thai & will take the time to ensure you are happy. About 15 to 20 minutes walk to the beach on the busy main road to Chaweng. The aircon works well & off each room is a cute little balcony, perfect for smokers. They are probably keeping costs down with a lean sqaud of cleaning staff, who do a great job, when they do eventually get to your room.

Very nice Hotel for low budget traveler (BackPacker) The room was offered by the half of the regular price due to a promotion. It is not a 3*** hotel as you might be used to in the EU or other places, but the small room had an AC, was comfortable to live in and was near to TESCO Lotus. For the promotion we got - absolutely worth it, but maybe not for the regular price of 600 THB.
