Very pretty light up at night! There was also an art exhibit going on during the xmas to new years period and the light installations added a new element to the scene.

No trip to Kobe is complete without stepping foot here. lol. Although the weather was cloudy and cold, the port side view of Kobe was still enchanting to say the least. Kids running around, pets being walked about, joggers doing their runs, couples snapping their selfies away - everything just gives you the Kobe vibe that you won't get in other cities in Japan!

Beautiful open space near the Kobe Bay Marine, nice place to take pictures with the skyline of Kobe... the museum, if you have time, is worth visiting. It has interactive features like jetski and landing a plane and more all courtesy of Kawasaki👏👏👍

This city is definitely different from any other cities you will find. At first glance it may seem boring but the longer you explore it, the more you’ll see and come to appreciate it. I personally loved the ports of Kobe. Do note that there are strong gust of winds so do be careful when walking about the port side.

It is exactly what you think it is, an incredibly gimmicky sign for taking Instagram photos. There is usually a fairly long line of people wanting to take pictures with it, so expect to wait 10-15 minutes for a picture.

This is a famous photo spot in Kobe. This is a symbolic place of Kobe, which has prospered as a port town since ancient times. You can see the port tower, Starbucks, etc. Recommended to visit at least once

It will be definitely regretting if you don’t come here! Spacious harbour with magnificent views, grab a hot latte matcha from Starbucks, sitting at the bank nearby the iconic BE KOBE, sip a bit of matcha, under cold weather, observing people spending life there, things can’t be better!

Peaceful Oasis: The port area exudes a calming aura, offering a respite from the city's hustle and bustle. The gentle sea breeze, coupled with the mesmerizing views of the waterfront, creates an atmosphere of utter tranquility. Scenic Beauty: The picturesque landscape surrounding Kobe Port is nothing short of breathtaking. Whether it's a leisurely stroll along the promenade or simply sitting by the water's edge, the stunning vistas of the harbor and mountainside never fail to captivate. Relaxation Galore: The port area boasts a variety of delightful spots to unwind. From quaint cafes offering a perfect cup of coffee to serene parks ideal for a peaceful read or reflection, every corner seems tailor-made for relaxation. Cultural Experience: Embracing both modernity and tradition, Kobe Port effortlessly blends contemporary architecture with historical remnants. Exploring the maritime museums and iconic landmarks provides an enriching experience, adding depth to this already serene retreat. Overall Sanctuary: My visit to Kobe Port was an absolute delight. It's an oasis of calm in the heart of Kobe, inviting visitors to unwind, rejuvenate, and appreciate the serene beauty that surrounds this waterfront haven.

It can get really cold at night! But it's a good place to chill and zone out. Once the sky is cleared, you could even see the stars and the moon! There is also a Starbucks for you to pop by and get a hot drink to keep you warmthb

Beautiful water view at this sign. The earthquake memorial was enlightening to see. Kobe in general was a really pleasant visit. My husband loved the Kobe beef experience he found. All in all, felt like a peaceful day trip.

Just went for a time filler. Large open area. A maritime museum nearby that I would have liked to visit. Docks in use and pleasure tours available. Always good to be beside the sea. On our visit it was very quiet. It was around 11.00am though.

This is at the port of Kobe. Nice way to be welcomed to the city. Every city seems to have one. Did you know that Kobe Bryant was named after this city? His parents saw Kobe Beef (this is where it originated from) on a menu and thought it would be a good name. So, when I see, "Be Kobe," to me it means "to be great"....to be rhe Greatest Of All Time.

A great example of survival and triumphs. Amidst a tragic event happens it was build by the people being in that part of that Earthquake killer. Nice place and nice history. It’s good to preserve some part of it to see how they survive. 😊👍🏼🇵🇭🇯🇵

This monument is located right next to ocean in merikein park. It is quite famous because of its location. Good place to chill out with friends and family. You can sit or have a walk along the sea.

My wife and I had an amazing time at Kobe Harborland. Plenty of photo opportunities, friendly people and much to take one, visually. My wife and I took a rickshaw to see the sights from a different perspective. This was my first rickshaw and our driver was extremely pleasant. Please take the time to use them. You won't regret.
