A long expanse of a park along the east side of the Ikuta River. There are many sections. There is the Dragon water spitting fountains and Chinese pagoda at the northern end near Shin-Kobe station all the way down to the playground halfway to HAT Kobe. Some sections are paved some dirt there are plenty of benches and places to picnic. A couple of places let you access the river. There are also a couple of areas with playground equipment for the kids. The big paved area just across the street from the pagoda is great for rollerblading, teaching kids to ride bicycles, r/c cars, etc. The upper section gets especially crazy around hanami time.

A very nice park along the Ikuta River. Several toilets spread along the long thin park. There are also several playgrounds and fields for everyone to enjoy. It is great for casual walking, but there are also a series of outdoor exercise equipment for adults to use to stay in shape. Again, several play areas for children of all ages to use.

It's so nice to have Sakura time at the Riverside

Ikutagawa park is a nice place for spending the time in nature around the city. Cherry trees spread along the park on the river side. There are many playgrounds for kids. In addition, there are some spaces close to the river water to sit on. Until last year, it was possible to do BBQ in the park, but in 2018 it is not allowed.
