Had a sleeve surgery and band removal at the end of March in there my god soon I arrived I felt like a star with red carpet in front of the hospital 🙂. Everyone was very welcoming, helpful, big smiles, soon I stepped through there was ladies there explaining everything what will happen, when, where, what time etc. hospital is extremely clean and looks like been opened yesterday. My fiancé stayed with me they had a huge sofa in my room he was very comfy there plus he was well fed every day too 🙂. Every question I had was answered, anything I needed I got it. Staff always there for you and nurses was awesome!!! They work tirelessly around the clock, used the translation app too to explain better what we needed in their language 🙂 it was seriously a luxury 5 star hotel feeling while there I would go back there again but without having a surgery 🙂 Highly highly recommend if you thinking about where to have your surgery done!!!!

Great staff, modern rooms and attentive staff with English translators available. if staying as a companion you will sleep on a sofa ( not a sofa bed ) but it is comfortable once you lift the back rest cushions off. food is of a reasonable standard but there are restaurants, cafes and shops opposite entrance. 10 min walk south sees you in the heart of the city.

I went for a follow up ultrasound and all I did was message Gökçe. She was efficient in scheduling the visit for me and was there to welcome me when I arrived. The registration procedure was smooth - both the receptionist and Gökçe worked together so that the needed documents such as the insurance policy and doctor's order were taken care of without any problem. Afterwhich, Gökçe brought me to the ultrasound room and stayed with me throughout the procedure. Dr. Erkan Kismali who conducted the ultrasound was equally thorough and efficient. He explained to me clearly what the result was and assured me that everything was in order. He was knowledgeable and made me confident about my health situation. All in all, I can say that I felt and treated like a princess. I will keep coming back to Özel Sağlık Hastanesi İzmir for this reason.

We were today, August 31, 2023, at around noon at this hospital. We came for a normal blood test for 2 people. Luckily, before, not after, the blood test they informed us about the cost already. Hold your breath: 600 euro for 2 people! Obviously, we walked out immediately. I went back though to double check if this ridiculous price was not in TRY, but it really was in EUR. Upon asking why it was multiple times more expensive than in other private hospitals we have been, we immediately got a discount of 15%. Shouldn't these prices be fixed?!? The longer we talked, the higher the discount became. It felt a bit surreal, almost as if we were bargaining to buy clothes in a bazaar. I am not sure if prices are this expensive for everyone or just for us (as we are foreigners), but common sense tells us this just felt wrong. We hope others can learn from our experience through this review and not waste any time on attempts to overcharge.

Doctors nurses and all staff very professional caring and helpful. I came from Ireland and I was very nervous at the start but they all made me feel very comfortable and safe honestly couldn't do enough for me highly recommend this prestine private hospital. Dr Gaghan Baytekin was amazing explained everything in detail so we fully understood everything and gave me the utmost professional care

Good for foreign people,especially because they have translator to help you with English,what is not so common in Turkey. Our girl was Gökçe Ülker,she is really kinde,always to help and good person! Also Doctor Nagi gynecologist is very profesional. Prices are ok also for foreigners.

I come in as a foreigner, from a different country for a medical procedure, but, for some reason i felt safe even before i arrived to Turkey, thanks to the reviews i saw. For sure is an amazing place to be, the service is very good, i come in for a gastric sleeve and never felt that i was being critisized for my weight or figure. Dr. MEHMET DENIZ Is an excellent Doctor, very nice to talk to and very gentle, always with a smile. Ebru is lovely and kind, always concerned with your wellbeing, making sure you have everything you need. Actually, all the staff , Nurses and Cleaning ladies are lovely. I came alone, a foreigner who doesn't speak the language and was apprehensive about my first hospital visit to consult about my illness. I was promptly introduced to Gökçe Ülker, the hospital's liaison officer for foreign patients. She made everything smooth and quick for me, waiting and sitting with me, giving me moral support. She guided me through all the admin procedure and brought me to my doctor and the laboratory where tests were done. Gökçe was heaven-sent, a real angel. My doctor, Dr. Uğur Elçi, was equally helpful and friendly. He was thorough in his examination and explained things clearly to me. He made me feel at ease and was attentive to my concerns. He made me feel like I was important and he was there to help. The lab technician was quick and efficient, too. It was a breeze. My radiologist, Dr. Erkan Kismali, was very patient and accommodating. He wanted to help me with my request for copies of the images for my personal file. He answered my numerous questions and assured me that there was nothing to worry about. The hospital was clean and had a welcoming ambience. The lobby was green, filled with plants and it was airy with lots of sunshine from the outside. All in all it was a very good experience. Anestezi ekibi çok kötü, doğum gibi hassas ve özel bir konu için çok kaba ve duyarsızlar.Hemşireler desen ilgi, bilgi 0.Epidural sonrası yaşadığım rahatsızlığı bile anlatmama rağmen Allah Allah böyle Birşey olmamalı deyip beni taburcu ettiler ve sonra kendi doktorum sorunun ne olduğunu çözünce o şekilde şifa bulabildim. O kadar ilgililer ki hastaneden çıkarken artık valizi falan toplamışız düşünün ve ben daha önce 3 kere söylemişim en son deske gidip damaryolunu çıkarmalarını bir kez daha hatırlatınca gelip çıkarttılar bir zahmet. Lohusa yemeği olarak acı çorba, mantı falan vermelerini son olarak söyleyeyim. Daha çok şey var ama imkan varsa başka hastane aman diyim işinizi şansa bırakmayın.

We are here for my wife's breast reduction and this place is amazing. Make uk hospitals look terrible.staf are amazing too, the food ain't great but there is loads of cafe's n shops literally across the road. We got a kebab fries n can of Pepsi for 60turkish lira (£3)

There are many facilities in this hospital in various fields of medicine. Also this hospital is so clean and peaceful. The building is modern and fantastic and people who are working there are so helpful. As I’m not a Turkish person, I can’t talk in Turkish fluently but there was a kind lady who is called “Gökçe Ülker “ she was a nice company for many hours and she translated everything for me.

The front desk in the first floor were really nice, they were very patient in answering my questions through google translate and was able to process my insurance very quickly. They also had someone there who spoke English to guide me where I'm supposed to go, her name was Gokce Ulker and she was really nice, reassured me with everything and spoke very well. Melike hemşire hariç hizmetleri için sonsuz teşekkür ederim.. Bu hastaneye sırf değerli doktorumuz Prof Dr Kadir Biberoğlu var diye geldik gelmez olasaydık… Yemekleriniz kötü ve yanında suyu bile parayla sayacak kadar ticaret kafasındasınız Medicana hastanesine gelinde insanlık görün.. Böyle kıymetli bir doktorun bu hastanede olması üzücü cidden üzücü..
