We honestly found this place through TripAdvisor and the reviews gave it a flowing recommendation. My experience was no different The ambiance is pretty nice- you have Chinese lanterns in a cosy outdoor seating. The food is also pretty great. Try the Thai green curry with chicken/seafood or lemongrass fish. The best part, it's pretty reasonable with our meal costing us around 110 baht per person.

Good south Thai restaurant with many big dishes. However, menus come with no photographs.

Overall pleasant experience. The lady working here fetched an extension lead to enable the fan to come closer to our table which was very kind, thank you! I ordered stirfry pork with lemongrass sauce (160thb) but I think that the “with lemongrass salt” dish came in-stead since there was no sauce, but I wasn’t mad because it tasted really good! We also got the Southern-style sour spice flavored curry with catfish/veg (160thb) which was flavoursome (was expecting the “curry” component to be less liquidy, it was similar to Tom Yum soup) but the fish still had bones which took away from the dish since you couldn’t just eat without having to think about it too much…we got 2x water and 2x rice with these dishes and the total came to 350thb which was great. Would like to return to try more dishes

This restaurant is definitely worth every single baht I spent. The Lotus roots/ shrimp southern red curry is a must! Just look at the photos I uploaded here and order! You will definitely enjoy. Plus! Total meal is less than $27 for 4 persons!!!!!

Food was very good but in the menu the price indicated was 160 baht and I ended paying 250 because they said fish is more expensive than chicken(what I totally understand, though it felt like a imaginary price). Take care what you order!

Want to rate this place at minus 6,000 stars because that's the scandalous rip-off price at 1 THB per star the crooked management wanted for a $60 (1,800 THB) bottle of wine. Wasn't priced on arrival just the usual "this is what we have" trick. Advise you AVOID this place AT ALL COSTS

I love the taste of the food very much! I particularly like the way they prepared the pork knuckle. Fry rice is fantastic! The deco is cozy which is suitable for any occasion and any group size. This is a must try restaurant in Krabi!

Takola restaurant is the best place to taste the local southern Thai flavour.All the dishes are cooked with traditional recipes. Soft and tender pig trotter, pan fry prawns,vegetables curry of Southern Thai sauce squid are only part of the menu! This is the Must place to visit whenever I visit Krabi. Delicious!
