Very beautiful place for family picnic I guess the security needs some upgrades and they should reduce the price of food products and ride fee slightly

A lovely place that will bring you close to nature. The historic Nil Kuthi and the Kajla River add to its beauty. If you want to breathe some fresh air and have fun with your family, you are welcome here.

Bhatpara Neelkuthi is a ruined indigo factory situated in Gangni Upazila of Meherpur. It is located 6 km away from Gangni Upazila Sadar and about 17 kilometres (11 mi) from Meherpur town. There is a mango orchard in front of the indigo factory and a fragment of a church for the prayers of the officials of the indigo factory on the southwest side. The river Kajla flows next to it.

There is nothing much left to see of Bhatpara ''Neelkuthi''. It was made into a park long ago. The building which is standing till now remains closed (obviously we're Bangal, and we can't stop destroying it) and also modernized by fake brick-and-mortar. Yeah, this is horrible to watch it that way! I mean to save it you have to go the fake way? A scholar or who likes antiquity like me, wants to see them as it was. They are taking BDT 10 per person, just to see them rot like that? Take a suggestion, take more 10/20 from everyone and conserve it like the way it was. Wherever I went to see, I saw either none taking care of these antiquities or there are maintenance in a low cost way. Stop ruining the memories. On the other hand DC Eco Park is not also a place where you can hang out with family. The park maintenance is poor, the rides don't work or the operation is stopped, a place where money is taken to see flowers but actually unsocialized activities take place, also some drug activities by the local boys etc. After all these things, when I look into the bigger picture, I think the people of Meherpur, Gangi have nothing much to do! This park is somewhere they can go on weekend. Authority should do something on what they can fix.

this place is historical but the main problem is that native young people are not so good or friendly. the place is not safe for visiting with female members.
