Well, where do I begin. Both the "front of the house" and "back of the house" absolutely shone. We were warmly greeted, and the wonderful atmosphere set the stage for a wonderful dining experience. We were told that every dish offered could be customized and to let them know if we had any allergies or concerns or questions. From the amazing appetizers to the final desert dishes it was amazing. Thank you for an wonderful dining experience.

We went here for my birthday, and it was such a great experience. Our server was fantastic, and the food was amazing! We had the mussels to start, and they were delicious. Our pasta dishes were also very delicious. We received two glasses of complimentary prosecco.

I have been to this restaurant three times, most recently on October 13th to celebrate my birthday. The service attitude is extremely excellent, which shows the efforts of the restaurant management team and the orderly and decent service experience. The halibut is very delicious, the salmon is also great, be sure to try their pasta and pizza which are equally good. They are a very good and well-trained restaurant, providing pre-meal bread, filling water without request, ensuring customers' dining experience at all times, and entree plates always being kept warm. At the same time, their desserts are also excellent. If you want to celebrate an important day or have a small gathering with friends or relatives, be sure to choose this restaurant. They will bring you extremely good service and dining experience.

Super romantic little resturant with awesome food. The pumpkin ravioli is by far the best ravioli I've ever had. My partner and I went here for our first date and he still talks about the burger he got near 4 years later.

I loved the place itself and the ambiance. Service was impeccable, however, I must say that during dinner time it gets bit loud. I wish the atmosphere was more elegant and quiet as having a conversation with your loved one may be bit hard at times. Other than that we have had great time for our anniversary and food was amazing!

Beautiful restaurant with a very cozy atmosphere and attentive staff. The food and drinks were delicious, well presented and service was very fast. Went on a Monday night without a reservation and had to wait about 15min for a table. Recommend making a reservation.

The food here is always amazing. Tonight, we ate the lamb with smoked mushroom risotto. The lamb was perfectly cooked, moist and tender, and the risotto was incredible. There was just the right amount of smoke flavour in the mushrooms, and the risotto was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The arancini is always great here, the beef carpaccio was excellent, and the server recommended dessert of bread pudding was incredible also. I need to give a special shoutout to our server (her name might be Elizabeth, it says that on the receipt, but I didn't catch her name from her). This place was busy on Saturday night, and I've pretty much resolved myself to expect poor, or at least slow service when a restaurant is busy. Elizabeth was absolutely amazing at keeping our water glasses full, and checking back in at the right times to see if we needed anything else, and brought the bill in good time when I requested it. So many times lately I've waited 20 or 25 minutes for a bill after finishing dessert, when I just want to leave, so between keeping the water full (I drink a LOT of water while I eat) and not taking forever with the bill, this made a huge positive impact on my experience at La Frasca. She is one of the best servers around anywhere!!

Food was pretty good - the noodles were a little overcooked, but other than that it was delicious. However, the quality food didn’t seem to match the high prices. The atmosphere was loud, which made it harder to have a conversation without raising your voice.

Second time there after our first bad experience. They were very genuine and concerned about our first experience. We were given a $50 gift card and the food was so much better. We started with GF bread, butter and garlic shrimp. My wife ordered their valley chicken and I ordered the lamb shank. I couldn't stop eating! The flavours made sense in each bite. The lamb was very tender and the chicken was seasoned perfect. Dessert was also very good! Creme Brule and Gelato for the win. I'm glad we went back to have a better opinion of this amazing restaurant

So, I tried out La Frasca's appetizers, and wow, each bite was like a flavor explosion in the best way possible! The variety they offer is seriously top-notch. The person waiting on us was a total gem—smiling and super friendly the whole time. Only thing, though, the place could use a bit more lighting to set the mood better. But overall, La Frasca is a must-visit for foodies craving tasty dishes and a friendly vibe! Can't wait to go back for more!"

Amazing food, great staff who were comfortable to make recommendations both on their menu and local attractions!

Stumbled into this place on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised. Easily some of the best Italian I've had combined with a well curated atmosphere and good service! My only complaint was the embarrassingly small shell fish, the clams and mussels were SO tiny I started laughing

Came here for my birthday celebration and right off the bat they accommodated us and sat us 20 minutes early. We sat at a cozy corner table and had excellent service. Food came out fast and tasted fantastic. They even packaged my leftovers for me. At the end, our server surprised us with a free sorbet dessert! Overall great experience and would definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed the food here. I’m going to be dreaming of the linguine ai fruitti de mare for a really long time. The creme brûlée was delicious as well. The sauce for the linguine was so rich.

I wanted to pick somewhere special for my girlfriend's birthday and I definitely made the right choice! I had the scallop linguine, and I can say without a doubt they were the most perfectly prepared scallops I have ever had and probably ever will have. My girlfriend and her brother loved their meals as well, they were all perfect! Julie (I believe) was fantastic! Very quick and her wine and menu recommendations were spot on. Ian (who I believe was the manager) came over to speak to us after the meal. He was very friendly, but also extremely professional. Something you don't really see much these days, especially in Ontario. When we return to Halifax in the future, La Frasca will be the first place we come to eat!

I have frequented LaFracsa dozens and dozens of times since it opened. I go back because the menu has so many great choices, the restaurant atmosphere is fun and laid back, the food is delicious and the service never disappoints.

I took my partner there for our date night and it was just an alright experience. We shared the scallops as a starter and they were amazing, you need to try them in that sauce. I then had the lobster risotto and it was not great. Good amount of meat but the risotto was super soupy with the tomato sauce. The mushroom truffle lasagna was pretty good. It was an expensive meal and I'm not saying over priced for what we got but the quality wasn't there for a $200 meal.

One of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to - a must visit! The lobster risotto and the scallop linguine is incredible. Also, our server was AMAZING!! He recommended we get the white chocolate cheesecake as it’s his fav… and we were glad we did.

Delicious pasta with fresh seafood. Generous portions with reasonable prices and friendly service. Would highly recommend the lobster risotto and seafood linguine. Only complaint is that the tip option on the machine started at 18% for a group of 4 rather than 15%.

Great ambiance, friendly service. Food was great: Highly recommend the grilled lettuce with bacon (shockingly flavorful), and the duck confit risotto. Veal was a bit heavy and difficult to finish.

One of my absolute favorite places to eat in the city. I've gone dozens of times and have never been disappointed. From the starters to the entree's, they're excellent, and timed perfectly throughout the evening. If you're looking for a phenomenal Italian restaurant in Halifax, they're definitely the go to!

Absolutely delicious pasta dishes ! Environment was great but would be a little weird for a first date. Reason being it was loud for one and lots of movement from wait staff in the open concept style. Me and my wife throughly enjoyed it! Wait staff was super friendly , quick to serve table.

The food here is incredibly good. Some of the best Italian food i ever had. The service was amazing and atmosphere great.

Enjoyable little Italian restaurant, the ambiance was quite nice - low lighting with a lot of interesting fixtures. The food was delicious, both the scallop linguini and gnocchi were excellent. It was relatively busy, I'd recommend making a reservation in advance.

Came here to have celebration dinner. Great atmosphere and excellent service. The only thing that is not superb was the beef tenderloin with mushroom. The flavour of the mushroom and side covered that of the beef. Overall, still recommended for a visit.

A cozy Italian place with good food and service. The price and potion of the the food are really good. The only downer was that they didn’t have any hot sauce in the place and I think that would have taken the flavours to the next level. But I was satisfied all the same

🫤 Overall experience was not pleasant. This was recommended by my friend, so we thought to give it a try. Bartenders was fantastic, very professional and helpful all around, however, the waitress on the other side was completely different. Not only she forget to check on our table for about 35 minutes...
