We walked 25 minutes to eat here and we’re not disappointed. Our party of 8 had delicious options. The teens loved the wings and chilli fries. Teriyaki bowl was delicious. Pad Thai, orange chkn were good too.

Amazing little kitchen! We arrived without reservation with a party of three on a Friday night and not only was the venue accommodating, the food came out quickly. Not even three minutes after placing our order did the dumpling appetizer arrive (which had six to order but were vanishing rapidly as I took a photo). The mains arrived within ten to fifteen minutes with a mostly full dining room. My dining companions, vegetarians, both raved about this being some of the best restaurant food they've had since 2019 when the transitioned away from a meat diet. Myself, I still eat meat but found all of the food easily on par or better to most restaurants we dined at in Halifax so far. The breading on the vegan wings (oyster mushrooms) was particularly tasty and I was ecstatic that the actual mushrooms remained very springy, with a great solid texture. It was a perfect bite for all six wings. The wrap chili wrap vanished quickly and the fried fake chicken sandwich was immense, completely filling. Each desert was small enough not to overstuff us and give us a sweet bite to end the meal. Would 100% visit EnVie again, shout out to our server Brittny who was quick, accommodating, checked on us frequently and had full control of the dining room despite how busy it was. Thanks for the amazing evening.

All the things I tried were delicious. Good quality and fresh. Cute little place. My non-vegan friends love it too!

I have been here multiple times, and every time was Lovely. It’s a must try, as one of the original vegan places in Halifax. The atmosphere is really chill, and the staff are always very nice and accommodating. From a really upscale vegan meal to the “chicken” wings for about. $10, (which are my favourite).. you’re always able to find something, vegan or not.

My family and I came here for my sisters birthday. The food was great, the staff was friendly and very attentive, and we had a great time. They didn’t make us feel rushed and even brought out a dessert with a candle! Our Dad who is a die hard meatarian said of the food “I don’t know what’s in this but does it ever taste good”. Will definitely come back.

Dumplings were delicious and crispy, must try for vegans. Pad Thai (rice noodles) was good overall with broccoli with just the right amount of flavors, bell peppers and peanut. Beverage Glass lemon kick is a refreshing tangy drink. Side potato wedges were yummy. Good place for vegans and expect your invoice to be around-$55-$70 for a couple. Quantity is generous for 1 person. 2 people can easily share Pad Thai if you have normal appetite.

Worth every penny! Great service and great food. I ordered the pad Thai and the cheeseburger, but as a starter I had the mushroom brushetta.... omg, that was just the best.

Cool vibe, nice interior, friendly staff, serving up some delicious vegan food and drinks. I started with the ABC juice, which was delicious and refreshing. Flavors were balanced, and it went down well on our hot summer's day. For our appetizer we got the dumplings, which were decent. The side sauce was just soy sauce, which didn't complement the dumplings. For our mains we ordered the burger with wedges, and the pad thai. The burger was really delicious, and the fries were good. I would definitely order the burger again. The pad thai had good fresh ingredients. However it's spicing and flavors were off, way too hot and really unpleasant to eat. Overall, a really cool vegan place with some delicious options, just skip the awful pad thai.

I would kill for Riley. He was a phenomenal server who gave us great attention even though the restaurant was smashed. Meg made fantastic drinks and even dealt with our stupid "not-on-the-menu" drinks. The food was amazing and the kale ceaser was so good I couldn't even focus on the other food. Overall great experience and kudos to them for tolerating us lol. Whatever Riley is being paid, it's not enough. He was amazing and if you don't tip him well, I'll find you in your sleep.

The gochujang chik’n sandwich was so unbelievably amazing. I was also super impressed by the poutine, the mozzarella was very good and so was the gravy!

This was an excellent restaurant, and all vegan, so I could order anything off the menu! The protein power bowl was fresh and delicious, and the bean burrito was good too, though I would have liked to know ahead of time that it was spicy! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I'll definitely return here when I'm in Halifax.

We were visiting Halifax and found this restaurant close to our hotel. Amazing dinner. I had the Seitan Burger and my friend the protein power bowl. Would eat there often if we lived in Halifax. So sad that we are not residents. Go there if you want great vegan food. Will not disappoint! 😊😊😊

I had a wonderful meal tonight at enVie. I really enjoyed the succulent Lions main shnitzel which was accompanied by the potato salad.

Exceptional vegan restaurant with a diverse menu that’s bursting with flavor. Each dish is a masterpiece of plant-based ingredients, creatively prepared to satisfy both taste and health-conscious diners. The inviting ambiance and friendly staff make it a top choice for anyone seeking delicious vegan dining.”

Lovely vegan restaurant in downtown Halifax. Lots of options on the menu including salads, sandwiches, burgers, and ethnic flavors. My non-vegan family enjoyed their meal very much too. Labelled nut-free, soy-free, and gluten-free menu items. Reasonable prices. Friendly & efficient service. Lots of free street parking nearby.

Fantastic experience. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Delicious food. We had the chicken sandwich and the grilled eggplant with a side of poutine. All were excellent. Very tasty without being heavy, salty or greasy. Five stars!

Great little restaurant ! All the menu is vegan. We tried different options and everything was delicious!

I haven't been to EnVie in a very long time since moving outside of Halifax. We went for brunch today (Sunday) and it did not disappoint. My breakfast was very filling and the roasted potatoes were done perfectly. Our server was awesome - very friendly and personable! The playlist was lit for millennial me. Thanks for the great brunch - we needed it after the dumpster fire that was last week.

This restaurant was such a nice change from all the other places on our trip. For once we had a healthy meal full of veggies! We had the protein bowl and pad thai and both were delicious. This was also one of the less expensive places we went to. Wish we could have eaten there more! Bathroom situation could use an upgrade as there's only one toilet.

A must-try for anyone in the area. I make a point of dropping in every time we visit Halifax. Their menu is expansive and full of variety. So many delicious vegan options for anyone to enjoy. My fave is the chili cheeze fries, they are LOADED with toppings. Finally got to try the King Wings and I wish we got more, they were sauced up and so flavorful. Their burgers are also stacked with toppings, worth a try but can be messy. They generally have some rotating seasonal cocktails available, I tried a spiced cider and it really hit the spot on a cold rainy day. Staff was a little pretentious but honestly, kinda comes with the territory when you go to a hipster vegan restaurant. He was nice enough to explain ingredients and give recommendations for popular dishes last time we visited.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. First off let's talk about the staff. Absolutely amazing, they went above and beyond. We were served by Courtney and she took all the time to talk to us about the menu and the drinks. Offered great suggestions and went above and beyond with recommending places in the city to eat and drink at. And now she goes further above and beyond by calling a local pizza shop to see if they could accommodate me being vegan. Now one step further, checks her old emails to help us get into a local speakeasy. Everything about her was perfect. Now the food. Excellent, I had the schnitzel with potatoes and it was super convincing. My girlfriend had a bowl that was delicious. We had to get an appetizer and dessert. Neither disappointed. Drinks were also very tasty, both the alcoholic and non alcoholic ones You will not regret going here, so do yourself a favour and go.

We went in for a very late lunch/early supper and easily found a comfortable spot. I ordered a Banh Mi sandwich which was their special of the day(Not on menu). I asked the staff to replace the mushroom topping with the Tofu and they were able to make that change. It was a decent sandwich however, impossible to eat like a sub, so had to go the knife-fork route. I will say I’ve had better but this was good too. My friends(both of them actually) ordered the Mushroom Tacos and they found it a bit underwhelming. I also had ordered an ‘Old-Fashioned’ cocktail which was pretty good. I would say it is a good restaurant. Probably will have a better experience with the group next time around.

Used to be fire, now they got rid of half the menu, including amazing dishes like the fried balls with pineapple and the udon noodles. I understand as a vegan, that a business like this might face more challenges than a regular restaurant, though. It it’s still on my favourite list of places to go in Halifax.

A favourite of mine! Very bright natural light and cute cozy decor. Service has always been kind and quick. My favourite thing on the menu used to be the beats sandwhich and my recent visit was the chicken sandwhich. Hope to see the blats return eventually. Great place, recommend all the time:)

The absolute best restaurant in Halifax, bar none, and easily the best vegan restaurant in Atlantic Canada. We’ve been several times over the last few years and it is always perfection. Everything on the menu is great and this is one of very few places that I have to always get dessert. Lots of great options to suit all tastes and preferences.

Didnt get the best pictures because we were so hungry from our journey. :( But this vegan Fried Chicken sandwich was absolutely fantastic and the sauce on it was to die for. The fries were also amazing, some of the best ive ever had. Perfectly cooked tbh with a very sharp crunch. The server was also very friendly and super chill. The decor was very modern but warm.

A bit disappointed with this restaurant. The mains were not great, found that it was bland and a bit odd. Chicken sandwiches that we had was more of a meatball sandwich feel. Would have loved to have had the mushroom version instead of what was on it. Chilli cheese fries were sort of bland and didn't have the chilli taste you would expect. On the other hand I will say that the service was amazing and our starters were beautiful and tasted amazing(king wings & dumplings). Overall I believe the price is a bit to expensive for some of its food.

Such a nice place. They are not only making substitutes but making new delicious dishes. I had ‘King Wingz’ - breaded oyster mushroom cutlets & Roasted Veg. Sandwich. They were bang on! 😍

🫤 Overall experience was not pleasant. This was recommended by my friend, so we thought to give it a try. Bartenders was fantastic, very professional and helpful all around, however, the waitress on the other side was completely different. Not only she forget to check on our table for about 35 minutes...
