For the cost of €3, this is a worthwhile place to visit if you are looking for a cultural experience. Besides the amazing cathedral which I'll get into in a minute, it is a historical religious museum. It is, as you might expect after the Spaniards came to the island. There is not that much text around there to read about each piece so bring your phone as they have an online audio tour. It has a beautiful garden and it is easy to navigate through the area. I can't remember seeing any elevators for the tour itself so not sure how accessible for wheelchair users. It is spread on two floors with arts, collections, books and historical facts (via audio tour). The cathedral is large and stunning on the inside and outside. For an extra €2 you can go all the way up to get a 360° view of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, but you have to go around. We came from the backside we had no idea how large it would be inside! The dogs you see outside are actually Canarian dogs which is where the island got its name from.

Beautiful cathedral in lovely old town area. Stunning given Las Palmas isn’t a huge city. Really pleasant surprise. Loved mixed styles of architecture and looked like older stain glass windows were being replaced with some that really suit the church’s style. Well worth €3 euros to visit the cathedral and museum. You get a combined ticket for both and can’t see the cathedral on its own. However the museum is small and worth a around as it’s well set out and there is a lovely courtyard with seating if you want some peace in a lovely environment. For €1.50 you can also go up the tower - great views of the city. You can climb the stairs or there is also an elevator. There are also toilets just off the courtyard.

The cathedral is suggestive, we visited the tower on the facade (for a fee) but not the interior also for a fee. Toppo profits, places of worship should be accessible without having to pay.

There's a entry fee of 1.5 euro which is pretty decent. But couldn't enter the church as it was locked which was kind of disappointing.Dont know if it opens some other time. One can definitely visit the top of the church which has a pretty decent view. Better to take the lift to the top because there is a flight to stairs to climb which can tire a lot of people.

Beautiful Cathedral but audio guide doesn’t work and terrible customer service response.—This Cathedral is very pretty. It’s not that old, as it took 400 years to complete, due to lack of funds but it’s very pretty and has nice city views from the top. Unfortunately, even though I asked two days in a row if there were any tours, guides or audio guides, there were none. They sold me an entrance for 6 euros guaranteeing that there was an audio guide that could be accessed from my phone. There wasn’t. No one in the cathedral was able to get it to work, even though they tried to blame it on my type of phone (current iPhone). I have zero issues with my phone, anywhere. No other guest was able to get it to work on their phone either. Two security guards and the woman at the desk, Lidia, could not help. They were basically clueless. After spending 15 minutes trying to get it to work, with no solutions offered by staff (I also speak Spanish) I gave up. However, they wouldn’t offer a refund or partial refund even though one of their crucial services, which I asked about before entering, was not working for ANYONE inside the cathedral. So basically I saw a pretty church having no idea what I was looking at. Time to change management if you can’t either: get a functioning audio guide OR give a refund when it’s not working.

Really enjoyed going here. Beautiful church! We took the elevator up for 2€ and soaked in the views of the sailboats and the old town. It was also in a great location, just a short walk out and there was a ton of restaurants and also a Christopher Columbus museum which is free entrance on sundays.

Wonderful place. Must see inside. It cost around 6 euro to get there, but you can visit the church, museum on the second floor and go on the roof with an amazing city view. Be careful - the roof is included on the ticket cost, but requires different entrance, ask about it the lady at the first entrance otherwise you have a chance to miss it.

The Cathedral of Santa Ana, located in the heart of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, is a divine masterpiece that left me in awe. This architectural gem is a testament to the rich history and the artistic brilliance of the Canary Islands. Upon approaching the cathedral, you are immediately struck by the grandeur of its facade. The intricate stonework and the towering spires make it a sight to behold, and it sets the tone for the grandeur you’ll find inside. Stepping through its doors, I was greeted by an interior that exudes tranquility and spirituality. The awe-inspiring Gothic architecture, soaring ceilings, and majestic stained glass windows create a serene atmosphere that invites reflection and reverence. One of the highlights for me was the beautifully adorned altarpiece, a true work of art that depicts religious scenes in exquisite detail. The cathedral’s chapels are also filled with historical and religious treasures, making it a place where art, history, and faith converge. The cathedral’s role as a spiritual and cultural center is evident in its vibrant events and musical performances. I was fortunate enough to attend a concert here, and the acoustics and the ambiance were truly magical. In conclusion, the Cathedral of Santa Ana is a must-visit for anyone in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It’s a place where the sacred and the artistic unite, and it’s impossible not to be captivated by its beauty and historical significance. Whether you’re a religious pilgrim or an art enthusiast, this cathedral has something truly special to offer.

Historic building and magnificent architecture. Worth to visit the cathedral. The viewing tower is highly recommended as well. The entrance ticket now includes the cathedral, viewing tower and museum as well.

Absolutely magnificent church. Nice and well kept building. A piece of little history. Not too expensive either. Definitely worth a visit. The garden and the little museum are great. I was fascinated with the little garden. Worth going up in the tower gives you a good look about the builds around.

We paid €2 (per person) to take the elevator up to reach the tower where you have a great panoramic view on the city. It’s definitely worth a visit.

Really nice Cathedral and worth a visit to get great 360° views of the town from the Top. Entry only costs €2 per person 👍 There's a lot of steps to get to the Top (but thankfully there is also a lift 😁)

Had a great panoramic view of Las Palmas from the Cathedral Tower, which is why l would recommend this experience. Also if you don't/can't manage the stairs there is a lift that takes you to the roof top for €1.50. However, to reach the tower there are some internal stairs and a small area to get an even higher view.

A beautiful old Cathedral in the old town. Lots of areas to explore and view. Lots of information to absorb. I liked all the old storage chests which would have held all the valuables. Too many steps for the mature folk but a worthwhile visit.

Beautiful cathedral, reasonably cheap entry price, and some great artwork and displays to enjoy. If you plan to climb the tower, be aware it closes at 2pm - unfortunately we missed the window for doing this! The main building was still worth visiting though.
