You were very busy but still able to squeeze me in and despite being busy still made us feel at ease and let us take our time and I think you so much for that. The box her remains are in is absolutely beautiful and I love the framed poem, The Rainbow Bridge. I have been coming here for all 3 of my dogs for many years and everytime is great!! Thank you so much again.

When I first started taking my cat and rabbit here (rabbit only got nail trims) back in 2016 or 2017, they seemed great, friendly and caring. I had set a few appointments for my cat, precious, for some health concerns I had. With each appointment, it seemed as though they cared less and less. On the last appointment which was around January of 2021, I was not allowed to go in with my girl, due to covid. I have no idea what the vet or staff did to her, but she was extremely mad at me after that visit. She hissed at me and growled for a few days. Later that year I needed to board her and my rabbit for a vacation so I had to get them checkups. I took her to aloha animal hospital since they allowed boarding for rabbits and she was absolutely terrified of the staff and vet. She was visibly shaking and hissing at the vet while cowering in a corner and I couldn't calm her down. It broke my heart and I will NEVER take her back to rainbow animal hospital EVER! I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU DID TO MY LITTLE GIRL, BUT YOU WILL NEVER TAKE CARE OF ANY OF MY PETS AGAIN! I've been needing to write this review for a while, but have been so busy. Glad I finally got around to it. Please stop sending me emails, I won't be returning with any pets for you to harm/scare. Aloha animal hospital is the place to take your fur babies if you really want someone to care about them.

Yes, they were great in allowing our dog to be seen on a Sunday. Dr and office girls were compassionate. However, the cost was over 1,200 dollars for 2 hours of care. Just one x-ray, IV fluids and medicine. He still needed more care. We took him to his regular vet next day and he needed to stay overnight in the hospital. Total was 480 dollars and they performed so many more procedures. I would really think twice before going here. The cost is unreal!!!!

I've been going to Rainbow Animal Hospital for over 15 years. I no longer live on that side of town but I make the drive. I see Dr. Vensand mostly but all of the doctors are great. They actually listen to your concerns and take the time to explain everything so that you can make the best decision for your animal. Other hospitals that I tried on my side of town really never listened and kept trying to upsell me on other things. I've never felt that at Rainbow Animal Hospital. Every time I go I recognize the same receptionists and nurses. I always found places that keep the same staff for years are the best at what they do.

Compassionate care at the end of life is so important. We brought our 16-year-old dog in for her euthanasia. They were so thoughtful, peaceful, and made the experience as painless as possible for our dog and for us. They even sent a very sweet and personalized card, with heart-warning messages which really shows how much they put into helping families deal with end of life issues with their pets. Highly recommended.

I love Dr. Johnson. She and the staff are amazing. I rescued a mini Dachshund and his name is Scout and they give him so much love there and they are compassionate and know what they are doing.

I have been using Rainbow Animal Hospital for years and while they were always pricey, wow, they have turned next level corporate greedy to a degree that is just astonishing and merits a one star review. Are the vets nice? Sure. Are they competent? Sure. Are they caring? Meh. They are not nicer nor more competent than more reasonably priced vets in town. After having spent thousands of dollars on my dog there, I asked if they could take a look at a photo of an injured stray cat which I had a hard time trapping to give me an idea of the urgency. Nope. They cannot. If you are at all concerned about finances, you should avoid this place. If money isn't an issue and you don't mind being taken advantage of financially, I wouldn't say they are a bad vet practice. Just average and overpriced.

BEST VET IN SUMMERLIN!!! I’ve been to more than 5 different vet offices and nothing beats this vet! I took my cat there and he ended up passing unfortunately but Dr.Johnson was amazing and made us feel super comfortable with all the procedures and was super patient with all the questions we had! Love and obsessed with this vet<3

I've been taking my pets here for 25 years. Awesome staff. I can't imagine trusting anyone else with them. These are all of them over the years. George, Josie, Jamie, Sophie, Emma and Tilly.

Been going to this vets for the last 7 years and they have always done an excellent job caring for my pets (have gone for my cat and multiple dogs). They have great hours and are open on the weekends, so it makes it easy to schedule appointments. They will also give estimates for any procedure so that you can make sure it fits your budget. Lastly, they are really kind when it came to the end of life care for one of my pets. They gave us time to grieve and also sent us a really sweet card for condolences. Would absolutely recommend.

A coworker recommended me here and I’ve never gone anywhere else. Specifically because of Deonna(hopefully I’m spelling her name right). I have all of my dogs and my families dogs go to this animal hospital because of her. When I lost my girl Roxy of 13 years Deonna was there for me. I knew she cared and she cares about people. The Dr. is very wonderful and cares.

The Vet was great. My cat felt very comfortable and it didn't cost a arm and a leg for shots. This is where I always take her and she never leaves upset.

This wonderful vet clinic has treated my 2 cats and a dog over the years with kindness and compassion. While my cats have both passed, my beloved dog is still with me and living a happy life. Dr. Vensand is an incredible vet who is kind, gentle, and caring. He has been such a terrific vet on so many levels and my pets and I are lucky to know him. Thanks to Rainbow Animal Hospital and its great staff for all you do!

Dr. Deb Master is beyond amazing. You will never find a vet as compassionate, thorough, patient, and reasonable as her. My pups have been struggling with an autoimmune pathology and every other vet I encountered--including Craig Road-- were out for money, trying to put my dogs under general anesthesia and charge me nearly $4000 for biopsies. Dr. Master took the humane approach and immediately started my dogs on safe, effective medication at less than $100 and without making my dogs suffer through unnecessary surgical interventions. Do not go anywhere else for vet care if you love your animals!

We’re new to the area and we hadn’t established a local vet when our dog stopped eating. Rainbow got us in the next day and did a thorough job examining her. Dr Cortez was so kind and courteous, and she took the time to explain her assessment. One week later and our Labrador Retriever seems to be bouncing back. I’m forever grateful to the staff at Rainbow Animal Hospital.

My cat had an emergency after a similar emergency the day before with my other cat. The vet I previously went to was closed (Sunday) so I called Rainbow Animal Hospital and am so glad I did. Dr. V was absolutely kind and professional. He listened to my concerns and made realistic recommendations for diagnostics to determine treatment. I felt that the care for my cat was perfect and did not feel gouged by the prices. I live on a fixed income and appreciate the ability to get my cat the care she needed without charging me a fortune. My vet recently retired so I don't have a new permanent vet. I am very happy with the care my cat, and I, received. The staff went out of their way to be kind and thoughtful.

After losing a dog pretty traumatically a couple years back, I’m an over-worried about my current pup and wasn’t sure I would find a vet I felt great about. Dr. Vensand proved me wrong! He is super thorough and inquisitive, and office visits never feel rushed. It feels like he genuinely cares about the well-being of my dog. I love this office!

Everyone was professional and very kind. Dr master was awesome to deal with, She listened to me, and worked with me. I will definitely go back next time my dog needs medical attention.

We’ve been going to this practice for years and they take excellent care of all of our pets. Dr. V is compassionate, understanding, truly listens to your concerns and has excellent bedside manner. The techs are all incredible and kind. Deonna, Jessie, Viviana and Jamie at the front desk are all amazing and efficient. You pay for quality and I can’t imagine getting better service anywhere!

Wonderful experience with our two cats. The staff were professional and sweet to them. We were seen by Dr. Johnson, and she was absolutely wonderful!! Highly recommend this clinic for anyone who has furbabies. They are great!

I highly recommend Rainbow Animal Hospital for your pets' care. I have been bringing my pets here since it opened many years ago, and they have always received the highest level of care at a reasonable cost and in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

I have been very pleased with the service here. They always call a day or two after I take my dog in, to see how treatment is going. My dog has responded well. I took him in when he started rectal bleeding and vomiting. They prescribed antibiotics and probiotics to put in his food, as well as something to soothe his tummy. He seems much happier and healthier now.

This is the greediness to the max!!!! Jessie the girl that answered the phone is not even compitent to give exact directions when your within.2 miles. After 4 attempts and hearing Jessie say your dog is just for a wrap, I’m a condescending way. Then she called me back, and believe me I was crying to tell me she is charging me for a missed appointment I was shocked at the behavior of this place, they are all about the $$$, I would not even trust the vets there to touch a fly Obviously they care about $$$ then they do the innocent little animals they take care of You are definitely the WORST

Worse customer service. My dog was having anxiety problems. Called to see if I need to bring him in. The vet was to call me back. NEVER CALLED BACJ. I called 3 times in 2 weeks and couldn’t get any vet to call me back. So I called another vet and booked an appointment with Mauser clinic. So I called to get his records. Called 3 times. The last time the receptionist said she would immediately send me via email as soon as we hang up. NOTHING!!!! These people don’t care about your pet. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!’n HORRIBLE PEOPLE

The entire staff at Rainbow Animal Hospital is so friendly and helpful. All of the vets are knowledgeable and caring. Everyone at Rainbow Animal Hospital was so kind to me when I had to have my kitty, my best friend for almost 11 years, euthanized in early 2020, They were so understanding of my pain and heartbreak. When I adopted another cat, there was no question as to where I would take her veterinary care. Not only are the vets, vet techs, and front desk staff amazing, but there is also the convenience factor. They are close to my home, and I love the fact that they are even open on weekends. Another detail I like is that they have separate entrances and waiting areas for dogs and cats.

I took my new rescue here about a week ago, he’s been very scared about meeting new people since becoming attached to my partner and I but the Vet and staff were so patient and gentle with our dog. Even for just a simple wellness exam they really took their time with us!

Dr Master is the most compassionate, caring professional out there. Our puppy was suffering severely with something that no one else could diagnose or even willing to hear our concerns or what is going on with her behavior, since all her lab work and exrays were coming good. We've changed 5 different vets and thankfully we met Dr Master, who was able to spot the signs and provide the correct treatment which prolonged the life of our puppy. The hospital is very clean and everyone else very friendly and helpful too.

Dr. Patton and the staff are fabulous. We moved to Vegas 6 years ago and he has cared for our fur babies since. He shared a sad time, a happy time, and several needed surgeries. I’m a retired nurse of 40 years, 25 years working in risk management and performance improvement in surgery, operating room, and anesthesia. I know quality when I see it. Dr. Patton has always done an excellent job explaining surgical procedures. That builds trust. Today, one of our babies had surgery and while it’s natural to worry, I knew my little guy was in great hands.

I have been taking my fur babies to RAH since 2013, and they have always been so kind! We have a finicky pup with major anxiety issues, and though he can be QUITE a handful at times, we've never been made to feel like bad parents due to something that is beyond our control. Though the wait times can be a bit long and my impatience can get the best of me, the moment we interact with the vet, technicians, or front desk staff (shout-out to one of my faves, Deonna!) all is well due to the genuine care they always show. This particular review is because of a recent visit my sweetest little babygirl Foxie had. She had to get a bandage on her hind paw replaced, and to my utter surprise, one of the techs, Annie, made it bright and colorful with the cutest little hand drawn flowers! That loving little touch is what will make us miss this clinic now that we're moving out of state. Thank you, Rainbow Animal Hospital, for setting the bar!

I was so pleased with the Rainbow Animal Hospital’s staff and my little Toffee’s Veterinarian, Dr. Patton. The staff very kind and efficient. They patiently listened to my concerns about Toffee and I felt they really cared about the health of our new family member. Because of them I left my first choice and I am so glad I did. All I can say is Thank you so much for doing your job so well and for caring. You all are the BEST!!!!!

Excellent experience. A lot of Veterinarians rack up the charges. That doesnt happen here. Straight forward and honesty are what to expect.

Looking for an excellent, kind, compassionate vet for your pet? Look no further than Rainbow Animal Hospital and Dr. Patton. He helped me through 2 losses with gentleness, kindness and caring. One of my little ones was a stray that was half dead when I found her on the street. With his care she survived. He thought she might have about 6 months to live because life on the street did a lot of damage to her health. With his care she lived for 18 months and when she passed she knew she was loved. The first part of her life might have been horrendous, but with quality care he gave made the last part happy. He now takes care of my current baby and I trust him completely to keep him healthy. I wouldn't even consider changing vets. I don't want to neglect mentioning the support staff. They too are exceptional. I always feel that my fur baby is as important to them as he is to me! THANK ALL OF YOU!!!!

Whenever I need vet care for my pittie, it always seems to fall on a Sunday, but I never have to worry because Rainbow Animal Hospital is open and so great in getting us in for an appointment that same day. My pittie is reactive to other animals and strangers, but allows the staff here to examine him with no issues due to the staff here are all so friendly and professional. They also don’t push you to do certain things on your pet if you cannot afford it and work with you to treat your pet. I highly recommend this animal hospital.
