Reserved this restaurant for my husband's birthday, based on the great reviews... seriously wondering if it is a scam. Service was slow and unpleasant...food was cold and below average...sushi overpriced and you can find much better in lausanne for cheaper. My udon did not taste fresh and half the noodles were cold. Really misleading ratings.

Most disappointing Japanese place I’ve been, we went there for a surprise birthday. The waiter didn’t speak neitherEnglish nor French, took 10 minutes to come get the order than another 10 minutes to get the water and we had to ask ! They looked upset when we asked to replace the chicken brochette with a salmon one on the menu, mission impossible, even when we mentioned that our friend was vegetarian! The miso soup arrived cold after 10 minutes, the seaweed salade average. The four of us were disappointed with our food, there is really nothing special, and the service was a joke, we had to ask several time to get soya sauce in a sushi place and they always looked annoyed with our comments. A no go for me in Lausanne.

A great Japanese restaurant, a bit far from the center of Lausanne but thanks to that you will get quality food for an affordable price. The place is cosy and the tables are well spaced, so that you feel at ease. As always in Asian restaurants, the service is very friendly and available. If you come by car, there are a few places in front of the restaurant, but otherwise you may want to park at Montbenon.

First and foremost, let me clarify: the food was good. The wait for the entire meal and between courses was disastrous. We spent 3 and a half hours to get to our desert. They should spend less time catering for take away orders and smood drivers than they do, or just not do takeaway on days that they serve in-house as they clearly cannot manage the 2 simultaneously! I HOPE THEY FIX THIS PROBLEM, FAST. Or this will not be the last bad review they get. Disappointing that a restaurant with such good food has ruined the experience.

Great sushi place, nice presentation, nice staff and quiet environment. We paid around 60 CHF per person, sharing a big sushi selection plate, duck and a mochi. We also had a very nice Japanese beer.

I did not like the location so well. As the light of the restaurant is not so bright, so it's difficult to spot. Although the food had me forget about everything. Went with someone special, who has a good knowledge about japanese cuisine and sushi in particular. Was not a big fan of sushi, but this place changed that. Mango sushi is a must try! Lovely japanese place in Lausanne. Must visit!

The best sushi place in Lausanne. The guy is really kind and have a good sense of humor. Salmon and tuna are always fresh and we come here quite often. I wish they also had the all you can eat option.

If you are Chinese, I highly recommend this place. We are actually going to Kung-fu Cuisine near to Oniwa, but upon arrival, we noticed that Kung-fu Cuisine is closed until Aug 2023. Maybe the owner is on vacation, but there is no notice on Google. It's almost 2 PM when we arrived at Kung-fu Cuisine and as you may or may not know, most of the restaurants in Switzerland closes between 2 PM (or 2:30 PM) to 6 PM. All of my family are very hungry at that time (which is our fault I have to say). Then I found this Japanese restaurant nearby. When we first walked in, we were told by a waitress that the kitchen is closed. Fortunately, when we walking out, we see the owner and he told us they are still open and bring us the secret Chinese food menu. We ordered two dishes and both of them are delicious and genuine Chinese dishes. Bottled water is 7 fr. which I forgot to ask whether it's free, but I should've known that considering the tap water is not free in Switzerland restaurants.

👍 I’ve visit this place a couple of times and I’ve enjoyed each one of it. I always choose the same burger though. 7/10. The employees could smile a bit more maybe? I know it’s a hard job but well… smiling is free! I’ll be back 😌
