Best Italian a Lausanne and Vaud and … Pasta fresca, excellent meat, fresh fish and fresh vegetables. Top quality food and modern Italian food. Important wine list. The chef knows how to use and put together the ingredients. You will be impressed by the quality of the food, a non trivial selection, as for the menu and refined presentation of the dishes. Almost perfect. The food is just excellent, freshly prepared and very nicely presented. If I had to find a negative point, it would be the slowness of the service. It was not disturbing as we had time. Also it's kind of tough to find parking spots in the area, the best is to go to the underground parking at Malley and walk 5 minutes.

Second time eating at La Poesia and still in love with it. A truly great experience from start to finish. The service is professional and friendly, they know their menu by heart and how to give good recommendations. The food is absolutely delicious! Prices are on the high end but still affordable and definitely worth it. The only inconvenience is the parking slots, there aren't any so you better come by public transport or try to find a place nearby (~5min walk) in a blue zone.

The meal started with a nice focaccia appetiser on the house and bread sticks. We both took pasta, which was good, but we thought the sauce could have been more flavourful in both cases. Both desserts were good.

Excellent restaurant, great service!! Very nice wine selection/variety! Hard to guess from the outside and location that it would be this good! It's pricey, but not outrageous for the Swiss average, especially given the quality that comes along. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos, so go and see with your own eyes...

Everytime we visit Poesia we are extremely happy. The quality of food and the friendly service makes you feel very comfortable. Most of the evenings you need a reservation. We often take friends and even Italian friends to discover the place and they all are very happy. The fresh pasta in parmesan with truffles is to die for!!! Don't hesitate to discover this place and you will become a regular if you like Italian good

Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS! We loved the carbonara and the fish was exceptional. Our only complaint was the lack of AC but the food makes up for it! The service was excellent as well.

My favorite restaurant at this current moment. The daily special, typically a pasta dish, is fairly priced for the quality of the meal (29 CHF). There are many types of dishes, from pasta to fish and meat. The cured meat and cheese plates are a great appetizer to share. You would be hard-pressed to find an equally good Italian restaurant in the area. A great bonus is that the staff are friendly and always helpful when it comes to a good recommendation or wine pairing.

When we went there it was closed even though it stated on google that it was open

Delicious, fresh ingredients and lovely atmosphere and people. They were very good about my allergy to milk. Can't fault it, would definitely go again.

Good Italian restaurant. Modern, high quality style. The fried fish as a main course was nicely presented, good quality, light and filling. Prices are average Lausanne prices. Take care, parking spots are few except on the road up from the cemetery.

Great atmosphere, good food and very friendly staff. Poesia has a great variety of choice on the menu and usually there is a menu of the day. We’re Poesia really stand out is the presentation of each dish.
