Excellent little place for a lovely meal. Dont let the small exterior fool you. The inside is warm and welcoming. You can choose between sitting at a table or around a stool with a large plate. The food is interesting and unique. If you have not tried Ethiopian food before, this place is definitely worth trying. Dishes typically consist of crepes, generously served with delicious accompaniments like vegetables, lentils, curries and meats. Plenty of vegetarian options cooked in the traditional way. Fun for a group of friends or a family. The service is decently paced and the staff is accommodating. They speak both French and English. Costs about 35-40 franks per person.

Excellent meat, quality with just the right amount of spices. Very entertaining to eat with a group of friend s given that everyone can share from the same plate. Having to use Injera (ethiopian flatbread) to pick up the food is fun, but can get a little messy.

That was not just a food-it was great experience! Eating by hands yummiest national food with great taste and glass of wine was just wooow (we ordered a plate with different types of meat for try and all was so good). It was our first time and we were absolutely satisfied - 💯% delicious 😋

I enjoyed the meal. Not the best meal I've ever had, the soggy towels used for eating the food were a bit curious and I've no idea what I was eating. I think the menu is suffering from too much choice. I would go back, but only to introduce someone else to something different.

This was my first experience with Ethiopian meal and what a great experience it was. The place is very cozy and the staff is very friendly and patient with even non French speaking people. They all had lovely smiles and seem to enjoy their work. It’s extremely vegan friendly and so flavorful. Would definitely go back.

Food was delicious. Atmosphere was fabulous. Authentic Ethiopian food. The woman who took our order was friendly, kind, and patient, particularly because we are English/German speaking. Excellent vegetarian meal. Highly recommend. Open on Sundays.

Delicious! Beautiful atmosphere, great Ethiopian fare, easy for vegetarians, and the honey wine is not to be missed. It's true, the service can be slow sometimes, but it's not a huge place so don't worry, they'll come to you.

I've been there a couple of times. The atmosphere is the best among the different "Ethiopian style" restaurants in Lausanne. However, the food is better in the other places. I've found the service to be slow here as well.
