They ask you how you want your burger cooked, but the ground beef patties come straight out of the freezer frozen. The problem with this is that how they cook these frozen patties is a health code violation. When asked how I wanted my burger, I said medium rare/saignante. The burger I received was still frozen in the center. I am not against cooking frozen patties; we eat at McDonald's once every few years. The problem here is that: 1) pinte de Sauvabelin is a restaurant, and for restaurant quality, they should be using fresh Swiss beef; 2) the cook/server should not be asking the customer how their frozen beef patty should be cooked... it must be cooked well done to at least 70C in the center in order to avoid e.coli and salmonella transmission. Mine was clearly still frozen in the center. If I were the Swiss restaurant authorities, I would be looking into this establishment. I however do give this restaurant two stars because when I pointed out that my burger was still cold and frozen in the center, the server promptly replaced it with one more cooked and warm in the center. My dinner mates said that their fondue was satisfactory for the price. I would also still recommend this place for beers, drinks, ice creams, etc. I just wouldn't be ordering any type of meat from this place as I have doubts to how it is kept.

The service is uneven, the food very middle of the road but the location is wonderful! so close to the city center, cccessible by public transport, this is a little island of greenery with some animals that are specifically Swiss and a Terrace with ducks and ice cream. truly a recommendation

This is a lovely little cafe/restaurant. The seating area is pretty compact so don't expect to have a pushchair anywere close to you if you have young kids. If you can sit along the right hand side, you will have a wonderful view over the lake. During the summer, outdoor seating is provided with table service. Opposite the restaurant there is a new playground for children. Its fantastic. With the parking so close, it is easy to use the restaurant as your starting and stopping point in your visit.

A cozy restaurant. Food is average, price also. The menu is very limited, but we found the service to be quick. We had two waiters serving us, a very nice and polite Portuguese woman, and a very rough and impolite French mother tongue man. As it is the only choice in the area you can either eat there or bring some food and eat in some picnic area around the lake.

The service is slowwww , and Gustavo the waiter bad service . Also the account was wrong , and after saying that, he charges in my bank in CHF. Not coming back anymore
