Top 5 dinner ever. We were staying at the hotel and someone at the pool recommended it. Sat outside looking at the lake. Very pretty setting. Everything was perfect. The service was friendly and on point. The food was perfection. I started with a burrata and tomato salad and it was fantastic. On the menu there was an option to add truffles to another dish and I asked if I could add it to the salad and they said of course. And it was so good! For an entree I had perch, a local favorite. About 10 filets, lightly breaded and grilled in butter. It was fantastic. Dessert was the highlight. It was an orange soufflé, but cold and made from an ice cream like texture. The waitress paired it with a dessert wine and it may be the best dessert I’ve ever tasted. Everything was so elegant. I would come back to Lausanne just to eat here again.

A bit posh because it is part of a luxurt hotel but food and staff are amazing. I recommend fish dishes, fera or sea bass.

The cafe is a wonderful place to have lunch. Also, just walking through this majestic building and absorbing all the art and intricate building details is very plleasing. As to the cafe, the service is impeccable by the staff and a pleasure to enjoy. As to the meals, we have a mixed opinion. As we are vegetarians, we contacted the restaurant in advance, and we agreed on two types of salads as starter and either tortellini or gnocci as main dishes. The food was wel presented as can be seen from the photos. However, the salad with the orange pieces was quite bitter and not to my taste. With a table partner, we swapped the salads, and luckily, the green salad with parmigiano was well seasoned and tasted delicious. I had the tortellini dish, and while the cheese tortellini was good, the combination with a bitter vegetable and a lot of lemon sauce overpowered the tortellini totally. It was not really enjoyable. On the other hand, the persons who had taken the gnocci were very complementary and happy with their dish.

We had a wonderful experience. Everything was just incredible, super-kind staff, amazing food, and special Christmas decorations. We took the long way in, through the hotel lobby. * Two adults, two kids age 5 and age 1.5 * There is an extensive kids menu.

Our whole experience was impeccable. Top notch service, great food, and beautiful views. Right next to the lake. Classy. Timeless. I especially loved the entrance to the restaurant with all the photos of past famous guests and their messages to the hotel.

A restaurant accessible through park next to the lake. Appetizers were good. Main course overall was so so. Fish dish was better than beef or lamb. Prices was high.

The service is the very bright point. Impeccable. Friendly but professional. The food selection is rather good. The food quality can be good. On my last visit it really really wasn't. Filets de perche were barely eadible (usually excellent). Beef tartare was okayish. Beef fillet was passable. First course pumpkin with chèvre was simply not good. Maybe the chef was out on the 31st. Had I not tasted it many times before the review would be 0 stars.

First of all check the receipt before you pay, they add more things that I never ordered!! So the service was good until I ordered my cola from the guy and he ignored me and never brought it.

A wonderful place to wine and dine or just ponder over a glass and enjoy very good service and some great food. Bring a book and ponder over the lake whilst sipping on a glass. And yes the service is always PERFECT!

Beautiful restaurant with wonderful food! The setting is perfect with a great terrace looking onto the lake. I'm coeliac and they catered for me with no problems! What was lovely is the staff were very down to earth and friendly which is not often the case in high end restaurants!
